the destruction of my home
I woke up this morning and lazily got into my armor, letting it close around me and see the HUD take over my vision.
By the way, I'm cypher. A somewhat normal 18-year old.
If you want to know where I am, I'm currently on the phoenix mark one space station.
I work as a peace keeper on the station, fighting the code. A resident terrorist group that is hell Bent on complete control of the station.
I slowly trudged through the dimly lit hall to my post at the nuclear reactor and brought up my Intel system on the HUD.
Apparently they were staging an attack on the reactor today.
Five minutes later.
*shlack*
I decapitated yet another one of those bastards.
I heard something.
"If we don't live, No one does!" Announced the leader of the code from the control room into the mic.
He held up a detonater.
"Oh, fuck." I said in he usual, monotone voice the armor gave me.
*click*
That was the last thing I hear before the countdown started.
When it reached one, I was already on the outside of the ship with an oxygen attachment.
The explosion shook me to the bone, and sent me flying out into space.
Then. I realized. It was impossible that anyone else survived.
That reactor exploding was like a nuke x3 .
I made a shitload of calculations and discovered that I was hurtling towards a habitable planet.
Good thing these suits have built-in parachutes.
I suddenly felt a numbing sensation in my back.
"Cryostasis protocol commencing" called a feminine voice.
I heard of this in training.
I will feel like seconds even though a couple centuries might pass while I'm like this.
*brack!*
I jolted awake and realized what was happening.
That sound was the sound barrier being Broken.
"Aw, FUUUUCCCKKK!" I screamed.
I guess the voice alteration system was turned off.
I switched on the visor and saw.
I was falling towards a forest of some sort, and fast.
I engaged the suit lock and braced for impact.

*wham!*
I hit the ground and started walking shortly after.
I guess now is as good of a time as any.
My armor is actually a repurposed exploration suit.
Exploration suits were made to withstand a fall from the upper atmosphere, and can help me survive the most extreme conditions.
My armor can also warp in various weapons from a pocket dimension.
It is not even very clunky.
It is pretty much like master chief's power armor.
"Eek!"
I turned towards the sound and broke into a sprint.
After about five seconds, I found the source of the sound.
A strange, butter yellow humanoid that was curled up in a fetal position, crying.
I filled with rage almost instantly.
Just then, I spotted its assailant.
A pack wolves that seemed to be made of wood.
I ran to the strange creature and got its attention, pointing to myself, the wolves and then bringing two fingers across my neck.
It seemed to get the message.
I stood between it and the wolf and warped in my pistols, tearing the wolves into splinters before it could even register what was happening.
The creature that had been curled up on the ground just moments before was now happily hugging me.
Oh man.
I almost fainted at the sight of her.
She was some sort of human\horse hybrid.
Only problem....
She was bare naked.
I hugged her back in celebration anyway, but when I pulled away...
My gauntlets were stained with blood.
Just then, I took notice of her injury.
A massive wound in her.....
WING!?
I pointed to her wing and drew a town in the dirt with my finger.
She knew what I asked and pointed in some random direction.
I then knelt down and pointed to my back.
Without hesitaition, She got on my back.
I instantly broke into a full-blast run in the direction of the nearest town.
I reached the town, but I didn't stop running.
I never stopped to look.
I saw a building with a red cross on the front and assumed that it was a hospital.
Running in, I got the attention of one of the workers, who was pure white with pink hair and a pink tail.
I set the injured one down on one of the beds and backed up.
"Ahh!!!"
*zrrrt*
*whump*
Ugh.
I guess something hit the back of the helmet.
After that fall, most of the armor was most likely weak.
"Dash! Why did you have to beat the poor dear?" A human female's voice with An accent pouted.
"I was just heading to the hospital to see nurse Red heart when I saw Fluttershy lying in a hospital bed.
This thing was next to her. And don't you see the blood on its hands!? It obviously hurt her!" Argued another, more brash but still female voice.
I head the sound of a door open, then close.
"I checked on fluttershy. Apparently, this thing saved her from a small pack of timber wolves." Another female voice said.
I managed to boot up the nanobot repair system and waited for the repair on the communication module.
A couple of minutes later, having to listen to the same three voices debate whether I'm good or bad, I got the mic online.
"Would you please stop arguing? Your giving me a headache....." I said, the most annoyed I've ever been.
"IT CAN TALK!!!???" All of the voices said simultaneously.
"Well duh....."I said sarcastically
There was an moment of silence.
" do you mind standing me up? This armor is as heavy as hell and I can't feel anything below my neck."
There was another moment of silence before I was tilted onto my feet.
In that time, the armor was repaired enough for me to get out.
"Can you lift the left part of the upper chest plate up and press the release button?" I asked.
Seconds later, the armor folded away and I took a step forward, yet I was held back by something.
I pulled as hard as I could and......
*SHRIP*
My shirt was torn clean off.
Guess it got stuck in the armor again.
"Great. No wonder I went through at least 60 T-shirts in one year....." I said, quite displeased with my armor.
I turned around to see three, pastel colored heads each peeking over a mini-throne.
'Great. Just fuckin great.'
