Chapter 1
The two hooded stallions walked down the dark alleyway on the east side of Ponyville . Thunderlane looked at Soarin with a stern, mean look. Soarin looked back with a scared look.
“You-you sure we can get away with this, “Soarin said skeptically.
“Hell yea, we just gotta find one that’s venerable. The strong ones always get away,” Thunderlane said, pulling out a switchblade. Soarin looked at the knife with a worried look.
“Wowa, Uhhhh Thunderlane is that necessary I mean-,“Soarin stuttered as he was interrupted by Thunderlane.
“Now listen here, rookie. I don’t want to get dirty. I just want to get through this and- ,duck down .“
“What are you-” Soarin stuttered.
Thunderlane forced Soarin down under the dumpster in the ally as a group of about five ponies passed by the alley. Thunderlane looked at his watch. It was 10:30. He then looked up, suddenly seeing another shadow pass in front of the light.
“There, let’s get that one. She’s drunk,” Thunderlane said.
“Wait she’s a Pegasus. She can fly,” Soarin exclaimed.
“We are Pegasi, dumbass,“ retorted Thunderlane.
“True that.”
Thunderlane slowly crawled out from under the dumpster and quietly motioned Soarin to come out.
“Ok Soarin, listen. We follow her until she gets to her home, got it?” Thunderlane said, keeping his eyes on the target. “You got the bag?”
“Yeah I got the bag, why-why is it so heavy?”
“Never mind that, just follow me!” Thunderlane said.
Soarin crawled out and followed Thunderlane down the street. The two of them followed the Pegasus from a distance, keeping to the shadows.
“Ok, she’s walking up to her house. Get ready,” Thunderlane whispered as he pulled his backpack off his back.
He unzipped the top of the backpack and slowly pulled out a Glock 17 and slid the magazine into the gun.
“Holy crap, do we need those?” Soarin murmured worriedly.
“Shhhhhhhh, quiet. I’m doing this for money too. I need it,” Thunderlane angrily whispered.
Soarin looked up at the house and saw the Pegasis entering through the front door. He knew that he had seen her somewhere before. He took out his gun and loaded it. The pony by this time had entered and some lights had been turned on inside the house.
“All right, I’ll kick open the door in front, you take the back. I’ll take care of the girl,” Thunderlane said, smirking with an evil grin.
“O-O-Ok,” Soarin stuttered.
“Now whatever you do, don’t even think of running off. You know how the mafia deals with deserters.”
Soarin went around back and quietly walked up to the back door. He heard the front door bust open as Thunderlane entered the house. He kicked the door open and looked around as he entered the room. The kitchen was small but strangely familiar. Soarin heard Thunderlane yelling for money but kept searching. It was eerie how the place was so familiar. He felt –no he knew he had been here before. He picked up a picture of a Pegasus. It was his flightmaster and owner of the Wonderbolts, Spitfire. So she’s who lives here.
He heard Thunderlane in the next room with Spitfire. Thunderlane obviously was here for more than just money. Soarin walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, following the sound of Spitfire yelling. He looked at the two shadows in a room off the living room. He raised his gun, took of the safety, and burst into the room. The first thing he saw was Thunderlane pinning Spitfire to the dining room table with a knife to the flightmaster’s neck.
“What did you find man, any money?” Thunderlane said, stuffing his hoof in Spitfire’s mouth.
“Yea, I found some in the kitchen,” Soarin remarked, still shocked by the scene in front of him.
“Ok, come here look at this,” Thunderlane said as he pushed Spitfire harder on the table making her cry out.
“Soarin, you jerk! Help me –ggackkk!” Spitfire squeaked as Thunderlane stuffed his foot into her mouth.
“Shut up, bitch!” Thunderlane yelled.
“Don’t say that to her!” Soarin screams back.
“What, you soft for her? You soft bro?!” Thunderlane exclaimed as he pressed down harder on Spitfire.
“Help me Soarin?” Spitfire yelled in pain.
“Quiet!” Thunderlane screamed again as he hit Spitfire with all his might, knocking her to the floor.
Spitfire moaned and then passed out on the floor.
“Hey!” Soarin yelled as he raised his gun at Thunderlane. “SUCK MY DICK!”
Soarin pulled the trigger, firing a 9mm round through Thunderlane’s lower chest. Thunderlane fell back, yelling in agony. Soarin looked around frantically between Thunderlane and Spitfire. He grabbed Spitfire’s limp body and ran to the living room. He hurried out the door and into the night.
