Prolouge
The changeling queen, Chrysalis, was thrown out the window from Shining Armor and Cadence's love shield.
From below, Luna observed as the queen was blasted out of Canterlot. However, a black dot that landed on the outskirts of Canterlot caught the lunar princess' eye and she slowly walked over to where the changeling landed. But when she rounded the building, she found a shaking filly with a horrible head injury that was curled up into a ball with a green short dress on.
She grit her teeth in annoyance as she observed the small filly. Sighing, she picked up the shaking filly. Luna closed her eyes and the small changeling that was in her hands was now a small pale blue unicorn with a turquoise tee shirt and denim shorts with navy blue and purple hair that had small stars in her hair, similar to accesories.
She ran over to Canterlot Hospital, gathering looks from civilans and guards. As she entered with the filly in her hands, the doctors and nurses quickly asked her what had happened. "The changelings had attacked her at the edge of the city and she needs immediate medical attention." She explained. Doctor Golden X-ray took the filly out of the princess' arms and had placed her onto a strecher.
The nurses got to work and had rushed the young girl to the ER, leaving Luna there by herself. "Please, alert me when she awakes." She had said as she walked away.
---FIVE WEEKS LATER---
A lunar guard had entered Luna's chambers. "Your Majesty, a vistor says that Star Fang," -The filly's name- "Is ready to be taken out of the hospital."
Luna smiled and stood up, placing the scrolls down and saying, "No guards shall acompany me." The guard was in shock for a moment but went back to a stoic expression and nodded.
---TIME SKIP---
Luna had arrived at the hospital where Star waited for the lunar princess, swinging her feet and sneakers squeaking everytime they rubbed against the floor. Luna walked over to the reception desk and signed Star out of the hospital, then walked over to her adopted daughter. "C'mon Star let's go." She said warmly as she held her hand out for the unicorn to take. Instead, the girl hugged her and yawned. "I'm tired, mommy." Luna smiled a picked the filly up and wrapped her arms around her neck and held the girl in a hug as she slept and carried Star out of the hospital and made her way to the castle.
