I am the person that has been tasked with observing all the known Multiverse. Using a giant computer, in the mini-dimension I reside in. It is a lonely place, with not much personality, I blame the fact that it’s completely white, and it echoes considerably. But enough about me, this is about Equestria, or rather, multiple Equestrias. Parallel to each other, in every way except one, which you readers might call rule 63 or something like that. Unlike most places you have read about, these Equestrias have had a considerably larger amount of human activity than the average universe. There is now an academic program on Earth for humans to study with ponies, but only the best of the best are allowed to cross over. The first human to cross over did so about half a year ago. He was the lead scientist and founder of M Squared Creationeers Int. Although he was a scientist, he was completely blown away by the universe before him. The reason that I allowed him to cross was simple, I was bored and saw this as a test to see if linking universes was a good idea. As his presence became more apparent in the beautiful place, I saw that it mirrored another universe. That universe was discovered by an identical scientist, also at M2CI, but she, well, was a she. And as she explored her new world, her movements matched that of her male counterpart. It was an amazing find! I had to do more tests. For the next week, as they learned more and more form the Equines, I began to strengthen the bonds between their Equestrias and Earths. Then, when they decided to return home, to talk of their findings, the cross was so simple, the decided to make it so others could go to Equestria. I was amazed how much had been accomplished in such a short time. But I also made progress; I noticed a sort of shield had formed around the four universes, one that prevented any other cross-dimensional travel from occurring, save my own. It astounded me that such a phenomenon could occur, even under the circumstances. I tested the shield, to see if I could link other universe to the twin pairs, but to no avail. It was as if the Multiverse was showing that a limitation was needed. So I went along with it. Now the two pairs of dimensions had no idea of the existence of the other, at the time, I was the only one who knew. But to be fair, I couldn’t tell anybody, or anypony for that matter, because I was all alone in my little mini-dimension. So I waited for an event where a large amount of humans and ponies were gathered together, to reveal the gender-opposites to each other. And as it were, I saw a wonderful opportunity. The governments of Earth, along with the Royalty of Equestria, had planned the First Annual, Multi-Universe, New Year’s celebration. It was to be held in Time Square, New York City, and in Solar Complex, Canterlot, where a combination of magic and technology would allow for the two areas to be in one places. The footage would also be televised all over the world and Equestria. That pretty much brings you up to speed, and to our main characters. They are each other, and yet not, as it is when meeting yourself R63 style. They are Michael and Michelle. The performers who will rocks both worlds. MichaelMy name is Michael. I am the 314th human to earn his way into studying in Equestria. I wasn’t always the cool guy or the smart dude but I got by. It was my music teacher, Mrs. Lee, who introduced me to the music programs at Canterlot University. I was amazed at how the ponies were able to use the same instruments that we did, even with hooves. One pony in particular comes to mind. Her name was Octavia, and she played the cello. I still don’t get how ponies grab stuff with their hooves. She was always so confident, even a bit shy, and her music was amazing. Then there was the DJ. Her name was Vinyl Scratch, but she went by DJ PON3 on stage. She was head-strong, stubborn at times, and all around, just a fun girl to hang with. She always wore these sunglasses that covered her eyes, but she took them off to show me once, and I saw those vibrant red eyes. Being the aspiring rapper that I was, my appearance was less than formal, more that of a “Bad-boy” than anything else. You know; the kind of guy that you date and don’t tell your parents about. Don’t get me wrong, I'm not a troubled guy or anything like that. I just needed a good look to go with my music. So when I first got to the university, and saw all the band and orchestra players, human and pony alike, I was feeling a bit lonely. Surprisingly, the first person, or pony, to talk to me was Octavia. She said that I looked lonely, and that I was probably new around. I thanked her for trying to help me, but I just didn’t feel like if fit in. She laughed, as she began to tune her cello, and said that I reminded her of Vinyl. After meeting Vinyl, I agreed. We even started to work together, making music, of a new genre. Classical start, mix it up, and add some fast rap, that’s basically what we did. Soon winter rolled around, and I found myself on break in Ponyville. It was a small town, very small actually. I could tell, because the moment I arrived I was ambushed by a barrage of talking from a pink pony with a passion for parties. Her name was Pinkie Pie, and she immediately began to show me around town, naming off every place, and everypony, that we passed with no effort. She told me all about her friends, Twilight Sparkle the librarian and student of Celestia, Applejack the apple farmer, Rarity the Boutique owner, Fluttershy the animal caregiver, and Rainbow Dash the weather patrol captain. I meet each at one point or another, but the only one that stuck out to me was Rainbow Dash. She seemed to have that air of pressure, like I did, to always please my friends, like I had to be the best ever, at everything. I knew that I couldn’t do that, not completely, and I was fine with that. But I wanted to make sure that she knew. Actually, when I met Fluttershy, I was almost shocked. She was very quiet, shy, a pony of few words, but I could kind of see something else, deep inside her, that wanted out, to be heard. So after meeting all of Ponyville, and I mean all of it; it was getting dark. Pinkie brought me into Sugarcube Corner, the place where she worked, but the lights were off. As I tried not to trip over something, the room lit up. Everypony yelled “Surprise!” and scared the crap out of me. I was shocked that anypony would do this for me. So we ate, and we talked, and I learned about the Elements of Harmony. At one point, the Cutie Mark Crusaders; who I later found out were Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo; barged in through the door with a weird looking glider or something, and ran into me. They explained that they were trying to earn their cutie marks in gliding, or something like that. But the all were talking at the same time, and really fast. What a way to confuse a guy! Anyway, that was my interesting night. MichelleMy name is Michelle. I am the 314th human to earn her way into studying in Equestria. I wasn’t always the cool girl or the smart gal but I got by.
