[EDIT: After far better reception than anticipated, I am considering continuing this fic for a chapter or two, just so that it has a better end rather than just cutting off abruptly. The majority of the original plans thereafter will not be written to avoid conflicting with 'Expectations']

This is the first piece of fanfiction I've written in about seven years, after some old Pokemon stuff. It's not all that great, and it will not be continued or edited. This story has been cancelled, and is being uploaded for archiving purposes. Take a look if you're interested, but don't expect anything good.
