She rubbed her crusty eyes and yawned. Fluttershy turned to her pet bunny, “Good Morning Angel.” Angel, in his normal, cranky, and unethical manner, just did his best to ignore his owner as she continued her morning routine. Fluttershy, after completing her morning chores, finally had a minute to sit back and relax when she suddenly remembered, “Oh goodness! I forgot ,I need to help Rainbow Dash with the weather in 10 minutes! The weather pegasi scheduled a nasty downpour today.” Fluttershy, in a panic, moved about in her usual panicky manner, getting herself together, bursting out the door right as Rainbow arrived. “Hello, Rainbow Dash!” Fluttershy cheerfully called to her cyan pegasus friend. Rainbow replied, “ Hello Fluttershy, ready to help me today?” Fluttershy nodded in the same shy manner she always did when she noticed a new face to Ponyville. Next to Rainbow was a lavender pegasus with a yellow mane. She was an on-average looking mare with a cloud as a cutie mark. The new pegasus introduced herself, “Hello my name is Cloud Duster. Nice to meet you Fluttershy. I’ve heard so much about you.” Fluttershy, in her usual shy manner, hid behind her friend. Cloud Duster then continued talking about her life story and finally came straight forward, excitedly saying, “ Since you have a lot of pets and stuff, may I adopt one?” Fluttershy came out of her natural, shy nature and simply nodded as they headed off to City Hall of Ponyville. Before Fluttershy arrived, she attended to her usual task of making sure her animal friends were safe. While helping the other pegasi with the weather, she noticed her other friends, Rarity and Applejack, working too. She began to help moving clouds but, due to the nature of her weak flying, she could only help a little, and by the time she gathered a few clouds to add the cluster of clouds, the job was done. Fluttershy, eager to see her other friends, flew down and overheard them arguing over their normal silly nonsense. Fluttershy eagerly said “Hey girls. How are you doing?” Applejack and Rarity replied with their normal greetings and started to talk about their lives and why thing always seem to never go their way. After about a half hour of droning conversation. Applejack suddenly asked Fluttershy, “Hey Fluttershy, why did ya need that giant chain? It couldn’t fit it on anythin’ I had. Why did ya need it?” Asked the concerned orange earth pony. Fluttershy nervously responded with “Umm…. I use it for….. helping me to ...ummm….. well…. uh….. oh yeah, my water mill, its better for my water mill, and what do you know, got to go. Look at the time! Hahaha.” The yellow Pegasus ran off while the orange earth pony and unicorn stared awkwardly as she set for home. Rarity commented “ Applejack dear. Should we be concerned? She’s been acting well…. it’s strange darling…” Applejack replied “Naw she’s just probably worked up because of all them animals she needs to take care of. It must be a lot of work.” Fluttershy, nearly escaping the barrage of questions, she started to walk towards home when she ran into three little fillies. It was no other than Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle. The troublesome three that cause problems all over Ponyville with there crusading efforts. The three fillies immediately address Fluttershy as they notice her with a big hardy "Hello Fluttershy!" The yellow Pegasus responded nicely "Hello girls, how are you today?" The crusaders all spoke at once and started to talk about their day and their newest crusading effort when Sweetie Bell spoke excitedly "Ohh Ohhh Can we help feed your animals?" Scootloo sighed and complained as always if it isn't something cool. After some convincing she agreed. Fluttershy told them, "Ok girls you can help. First I need to get some food for tomorrow you can stop by later just ask your sisters or parents if it's ok." The Pegasus winked and walked off home to tend to other matters of importance. The yellow pegasus continued walked home to her cottage. As she walked home she thought They can never know. None of my friends can know. If they knew ,they’d hate me. I would definitely be punished. Maybe I should stop the animal busines? I’ll only do it a little more, I promise. Just a little… little… littl- ha, hahahahahha! Why can’t I stop? she noticed Cloud Duster and began to smile again. Cloud Duster asked, “Is anything wrong? You looked sad coming back to your place.” The yellow pegasus replied as she opened her door “Oh it’s nothing… I was just thinking.” Cloud Duster smiles as she enters her cottage. When inside they sat themselves in the kitchen to start talking about adoption and having a pet. Fluttershy was even kind enough to get her dinner. After a couple hours Cloud Duster was ready to head home. Cloud Duster told the yellow pegasus as she walked off “ I’m leaving now.” Fluttershy ran to her door and replied in a deadpan voice “You can’t leave…. the fun has just begun pfffft” Cloud Duster told her in a concerned voice “No I’m going home.” Fluttershy pulls out a piece of wood and knocks Cloud Duster into a daze. Fluttershy then proceeded to drag her to a secret compartment leading to her hidden store room beneath her cottage. Barely conscious, all Cloud Duster could hear was bump, bump, bump as she was dragged down a flight of stairs. Cloud Duster was then pulled through a metal-grated, narrow bridge not extending past 15 feet. She then was attached by the two front hooves over a pit the smelled like itself was rotting and made Cloud Duster sick. All that was visible was a blurry yellow figure as she tried to call, out it all faded to black.
