Counting Stars

"Why did you come here Luna?" Asked Scorpan. "You know you couldn't make it this far without getting hurt!" "I was coming here to get you actually." Luna answered.

Scorpan was puzzled. "Why me?" "Well, somepony folks, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich were getting married and Pinkie suggested to bring your special somepony. Apparently, i don't have a special somepony, so i decided to invite you to the party." said Luna. Scorpan smirked a little. "I remembered when me and Tirek went to Grogar's party and ended up a big disaster, he he!"

Then Luna wanted to ask him the question she always wanted to ask. "Scorpan," Scorpan looked at Luna. "What is it, Luna?" "Well, since we meet each other again, I've been wondering, why did Tirek want to steal Equestrian magic?"

Scorpan looked at Luna with a straight face. "Well, i can name a couple reasons why." Luna smiled. "Can you tell me all the reasons?" Scorpan sighed.

"Ok. When me and Scorpan were young, we were much friendlier. However, Tirek was a monster, wreaking the house, wrestling me, and stealing ice cream and cookies from little kids. He still tried to fit in and make friends with the ponies, but they kept making fun of him and him names. After they made fun of him that day, he wanted to play with mom and dad, but they kept saying that they're busy playing with me."

"I remember his marefriend, Virgo the Maiden. She was the most beautiful mare back then. Then one day, she betrayed him and went with a different stallion, Orion the Hunter. Tirek was so mad and upset, that he was running away from home to fight the ponies for revenge, and he took me with him too. That's how he became mean and evil."

Luna was so shocked. "Wait a second!! He became evil because of what OTHER ponies did to him?!!" Scorpan nodded. Luna was astonished and confused at the same time. "W-what did you and Tirek do when you ran away?!"

Scorpan looked at Luna. "Well, I kept telling him that we should go back home, but he kept refusing. We started fighting everyday over the same darn thing. Then Tirek snapped! He was going out over Equestria to steal magic for revenge."

"Was that the day we met you?!" asked Luna. "Yup," said Scorpan. "I'm pretty sure. And this cave, was the same cave me and my brother stayed in over time." Luna just stood their surprised.

"That was just like what happened to me and Celestia." said Luna. "I was so jealous of my older sister, that i turned evil and put Equestria in eternal darkness, then Tia, errr.....I mean, Celestia banished me to the moon with the Elements of Harmony. I stayed their for a thousand years." Scorpan was a little shocked too.

"I guess were the same a little." said Scorpan. Luna blushed. "Y-yah...." Scorpan yawned loudly. "Well, it's time to hit the hay."

Luna yawned too. "Yah, me too," Luna and Scorpan tucked into they're blankets. "Goodnight..." Said Scorpan and Luna at the same time. Luna blushed and Scorpan just fell asleep.

In a few minutes later, Luna fell asleep. Then she started to feel a bad feeling when she was sleeping. She started seeing a bad vision, Tirek escaping! He was destroying everything in Equestria, kidnapping Sunset Shimmer, and stole Celestia's magic. The next thing Luna knew, was her magic being taken away from Tirek.

Luna woke up scared and frightened out of her soul. Then Scorpan woke up all tired of Luna's scream. "What......happened?" Luna blushed of embarrassment. "just...a little...nightmare."

Scorpan nodded slowly. "Well, i'm going back to bed. Sun ain't up, nether am I." "Well," said Luna. "I'll stay up, to look at your  dreams!!"

Without a word, Scorpan was fast asleep. Then Luna trotted to the opening of the cave to see that the moon was full. Luna frowned. "I hope you'll be safe, Tia." Then Luna sat down, feeling guilty.

Back in Canterlot, Princess Celestia returned from her old home and went in Luna's to check on her. Then she saw a note on her bed and started reading it. "Dear Celestia, I'm running away to be with.." She gasped. "LUNA!!!"
