Night Sky is a young colt living in the shining Equestrian capital of Canterlot. He has loving parents, a good home, and his parents tell him he is a bright young astronomer in the making. But despite all these things, Night Sky still manages to feel alone. He doesn't have a friend in the world, and for the most rediculouse reason.

He's an earth pony.

In a city run by unicorn nobles, where he is looked upon with distain by his peers, how could Sky ever hope to find someone who will except him for something other than his hornless head?

Can Night Sky find the meaning of friendship alone? Or will it take another to show him the way?
