The Lost Prince

My name is Midnight Shadow and this is the story of how I died.

When I was a young colt my parents were killed by Timberwolves I had then went into a rage and (in return) I killed the Timberwolves Celestia had found me during the fight and she decided to adopt me and be my mother and I met a filly named Twilight Sparkle that is where the Prologue begins.

Chapter 1: Prologue

I was a young colt in Canterlot with only two friends and one love. my only love was Twilight Sparkle. We really didn’t talk much but, I liked her and she liked me. Anyway I was one of Celestia’s students (Twilight, Sunset Shimmer, and Me) a few months after me and Twilight knew each other really well Princess Celestia told me that Twilight and I were destined for royalty… What I didn’t know was that Twilight and I would still be in love, so I ran away straight through Ponyville and into The Everfree Forest. I lived in this place for years until one day Twilight and her friends were sent to find me. When they found me, Twilight and I instantly recognized each other she hugged me, but I kissed her instead.

Chapter 2: A Blooming Love That Lasts Forever

“I missed you Twilight.” I said quickly “What made you run out of Canterlot?” she replied I didn’t know how to answer her except I did it out of fear but I didn’t answer her instead I asked her who her friends were “Well, this is Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and this is Spike.” She said “Hi!” exclaimed Pinkie “Nice to meet you.” said R.D. and A.J. “Hello” whispered Fluttershy “Hello.” said Rarity. “Twilight, is Fluttershy always like this?” I asked
Twilight replied “Sorta…unless she gets to be friends with you for a while.” everypony parted to go home after two hours had passed. “Twilight, where will I live?” I asked I should’ve just asked her if I could live with her but I wanted to be nice “You could live with me, if you want.” “I would love to live with you.” I said. My life was going great (well it was good enough as long as I had Twilight.) “Twilight.” I said “Yes?” She replied “I still love you.” I told her “I still love you too, but it’s time to sleep.” she said “Goodnight.”

Chapter 3: An Old Friend in My New Beginning

The adventures me and my good friend Midnight Shadow had as we were young colts were some that I will never forget. My name is Quintaro Honorsworth and it seems over the years Midnight Shadow has forgot about our once great friendship because of his love for Twilight Sparkle. I am finally going to get to meet him again because I have decided to move to the small and sweet town of Ponyville. I hope that he is there and that he will remember me when I arrive.

Chapter 4: The Reuniting of Two Best Friends and Adjusting to a New Life in Ponyville

I decided to walk outside at sunrise when I heard someone call my name “Midnight!” (is this a dream or am I just insane?) “Over here” it was coming from somepony down the road “What?” I asked him “Don’t you remember me from Canterlot?” he asked “Not really.” I said confused “Your mind has been away from me so long that your love for Twilight has made you forget about me hasn’t it?” “I don’t know…wait!” “What?” “…Nopony talks about Twilight and me but me and her, got it!” I said angrily “Calm down I didn’t mean to offend anypony I just said that your love was strong and that it is so strong it made you forget about me.” The mysterious pony said “Sorry I can get a little bit angry about ponies talking about Twilight…unless they are friends with her…” I told him “…How could you even recognize me from when we (apparently) were friends…I mean it’s just I’m an alicorn now and most ponies that I knew don’t recognize me anymore though I don’t really remember you I guess we can still be friends…what do you say, friends?” I said to the mysterious pony that just trotted into my life it seemed. “friends.” said the pony standing in the morning light. “Now that that’s all settled come inside so we can talk.” “Alright then let’s go.” I said to my old friend who I hoped now I could be reunited with after our long separation.
