It was a star filled night, those still out had but one objective with little else on their minds, get home as quickly as possible. My phone buzzed in my jean pocket, causing me to jump in surprise. I slid it out and sighed heavily as I noticed another thirteen messages from my ex boyfriend. While putting my phone away the screeching of the bus breaks, as it came to a stop, caught my attention.
I got off the bus while thanking the bus driver. slowly I turned the key in the door to my apartment, hearing a relief of a click looking back and locking the door. I flung myself on the couch and looked out the window thinking to my self "Why am I here I feel so alone no family no 'real' friends". soon I fell asleep in my tired state.
My alarm on my phone rang it burning tune soon rubbed my eyes from the light of the outside I started my early morning habit. I pulled myself into the kitchen trudging toast into the toaster waiting for the ding. I spread butter across the surface making a sea of creamy yellow. I sat down at the table slowly eating my food saving the taste.
I finished the tasty breakfast while looking at my wall clock as it ticked half nine "late again" I thought to myself. Rubbing off the drums of my toast I picked up my keys taking another look in the mirror next to me to see if I was still ok. I scoured up my handbag and went to unlock the door taking a step outside into the cold morning air seeing my own breath. I turned to locked my door for safety and slid the key in with my shaky hand reacting with the cooled twisting to here a satisfying click. I turned again taking another few step till i saw a brown shabby broken up box at the corner of my eye I never saw it last night so i walked up and opened it. I jumped a few feet back with a gasp taking my steps forward again I saw a shiny yellow coat a sparkling mane and wings?
I stared for a while trying to figure out what am looking at here but she was very cute. I reached my hand out to pet her but she backed away. I hushed her to calm her down and I reached my hand out again this time stroking her mane. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes I wanted to scream cute but kept my composure. wiping her tears from her blood shot eyes she ran up and hugged me. I had no idea why she was sad or why she was here so I took my day off for my benefit and hers to figure out what such amazing creature is doing on are grey earth.
I carried her inside set here on my couch and had another look at her while proceeding to stroke her mane to calm her down cause she was still crying and shaking either from the cold or fear. Out of the corner of my eye i saw her back right hoof was cut so I stood up went to the kitchen and damped a cloth and came back and dabbed it on her cut she whined.Still stroking her mane her mane to show her it was ok. After a while the bleeding stopped and I put a plaster on her wound.
I heard her stomach growl form hunger she blushed. I walked into the kitchen while she followed me. Walking up to the fridge and took out an apple and cut to little bits so it wont be to big for her. I set them on a plate and lifted her onto the counter and she basically dove into them. I thought to myself " she must be very hungry but what is she?" I gave her another half of an apple she ate a bit but didn't finish it so i ate the rest. She yawned I thought it was the cutest thing ever. I picked her up and brought her to my room set her on my bed and put a blanket over her.
I took the time to look up what she was i typed in on my mac yellow Pegasus. What came up I didn't believe it was a cartoon character called Fluttershy. I thought to myself " There is no way a cartoon is here on earth?" Looking at her again then at the cartoon and back and fourth I couldn't believe it a cartoon here but how did she get here it makes no sense. I shrugged and closed my laptop and payed down on the other side of the bed. I felt a shuffling from behind me and i see her scouting over to me I picked her up and set her gently beside me. She snuggled up to me laying her head on my stomach.
I woke up to see her sleeping on my stomach I smile. I gently lifted her up and took out my phone to see the time it was 5.26 PM and behind the time 23 messages from the same person. Finally taking action and blocked him. I went down stairs and cooked myself dinner and made a salad for Fluttershy. I finished making it to hear crying. I ran up stairs to see her crying I walked up to her and she jumped into my arms. I knew what happened she thought I left her I stroked her mane to reassure her I was here.
I took her down stairs and put her on the dinner table for two and set down the salad in front of her she sniffed it and then started eating. I blew on my vegetable soap and then drove my spoon scouting up and eating it. After dinner she yawned again I didn't believe she was tired again but this time we went to the living room and let her sleep on my lap knowing what happened last time I left her alone.
After an hour of going through channels on the T.V and having a sleeping filly on my lap I finally settled on the news. I was watching for a while till I heard a cute yawn and I looked down to see a young Pegasus rubbing her eyes. She looked up at me and smiled I smiled back. She snuggled my face almost like a cat what I thought was just adorable. She was basically was thanking for staying there and saving her. I ran my fingers through her mane. She settled beside me looking at the news watching there I heard her say news. She spoke again "news" I looked at her shocked. She looked up at me and said "news" with a smile her face.
I spoke with a waver in my voice " you can speak?"
3 years have pasted now and Fluttershy is at what I reckon teen age now however, she is still acting like her fun loving self with a sprinkle of shyness.
There was one time Fluttershy got sick I called the vet the doctor,Tesco's turned out she just had a cold from the cold weather but i was never so scared in my life. she learned quickly about what was outside and the dangers of it. I never tried to keep her in but when i offered she denied.
Soon after that she was bit sad that I got her so worried to cheer her up and to show her it was no big deal I got her a stuffed cat. she beamed so bright that day and keeps it close to her at all times.
After awhile I found it hard to go to work and take care of Fluttershy at the same time so I quit but got benefits so we could still live.
I took her to the park one day just asking her to try outside she finely give in. We went to a park that was after dark so no one was there
she took in her surroundings and smiled a bird flew down and landed on her head while chirping it song of the night. I heard her humming with it never heard her do it before but it was beautiful then one by one more animals squirrels,birds,raccoons and stray cats and dogs gathered and and sat and listened. I sat next to her on a bench then a bright light started to grow brighter and brighter while we all covered are eyes. Then it faded I looked at fluttershy and saw three butterflies on her flank.
