One month after the events of Under the Moonlight, a pegasus guard takes on new challenges in his life that may just pay off in the end.

After overcoming himself, loyal guard and not-so-optimistic Thunderblast must face new challenges when he learns that he is being transferred to the Equestrian Army. Surely if he's a good guard, that means he would make a great soldier, right?
