Home of the Pegasi whom will soon become Stars. The place where dreams are either crushed or come true. But, one Pegasi did not know how to fit in this competitive world, called the Academy. Scootaloo. She had not asked to join this giant team, she had been invited by Rumble, without her knowing. It was a grateful thing to invite Scootaloo, but not tell her was a different story. All the ponies back in Ponyville (well, some of the ponies) cried over Scootaloo's death. They also cried harder when they saw her and Rumble fly off to Rainbow Falls. Fluttershy, cried the most, considering she's loosing her daughter for a second time. Well, not daughter. Permanent Resident. Scootaloo was happy. She was going with her new best friend on an adventure to improve her skills. They flew to the Academy with their belongings in the saddlebag Rumble was carrying. Scootaloo wanted more time with Fluttershy before she left. She wouldn't admit it but she was going to miss her most of all. Next to Dinky of course. When they reached Rainbow Falls, the two quickly said goodbye before they separated to sign themselves in the Dorms. The Academy had added the Dorms a year before Scootaloo came. They were used so that way the Pegasi didn't have to fly home every night when their wings were soar. Scootaloo was assigned to the Kernell Hall. It was a three floor building made out of bricks. Scootaloo signed herself in at the Main Desk before she got her key and went to her room. She was assigned Room #127 which was on the first floor. After going through two hallways, she found her room and opened the door. A mess. A grey pony lay in the corner of the room on a pile of clothes. "Okay...", Scootaloo said to herself. The mare looked up and blushed. "Hi, I'm Red Feathers", the mare said. "Sorry, this is what I call a bed." Scootaloo looked at the other side of the room for a clean side and a bed. There was two drawers also, and a desk. "I'm Scootaloo", She said, closing the door with her back hooves and going to the clean side. Scootaloo realized: RUMBLE HAD ALL HER STUFF. He was in the General Hall, which was two buildings away. Scootaloo groaned to find nothing in the drawers except a uniform and goggles. Her bed sheets were white with blue spots, and her pillow just white. "Welcome to Room #127", Red Feathers said. "Thanks...", Scootaloo said. She laid on the bed in frustration considering she forgot her belongings with Rumble. "So where ya from?" Red Feathers asked, sitting on her pile-of-clothes-bed. "Ponyville", Scootaloo answered. "That's cool", Red Feathers said. "I'm from Manehattan. Don't worry, I'm not a snob." "I noticed", Scootaloo said. "Hey uhm, where's your stuff?" "My friend has it, I forgot to take it from him", Scootaloo groaned. "I can get it for you if you want", Red Feathers smiled. "You don't have too", Scootaloo said. "Please, as your new roommate, I will", Red Feathers said. "Fine, he's in the General Hall. His name is Rumble", Scootaloo mumbled. "I'll be back in a bit!" Red Feathers opened the door and flew out. "Some peace", Scootaloo said to herself. She went under the covers, and she fell asleep quickly. ~~ "Hey, I'm Rumble", Rumble greeted to his roommate walking in. "Hi, I-I'm Butterscotch", the yellow colt said, walking in. Rumble put down his bag, which was extremely heavy. He opened it, and took out stuff. But he noticed some - mare stuff. There was a knock on the door, and Rumble opened it. A grey pegasi with red feathers and mane stood in the doorway. "Are you Rumble?" the mare asked. "Uh, yea", Rumble awkwardly answered. "Why are you in the colt's dorm?" "I'm Scootaloo's roommate, I need her stuff", the mare said. "Uhm, okay", Rumble said. He took out all his stuff from the bag and gave it to the mare. "All her stuff is in there", Rumble said. "Thanks", the mare quickly flew away. Rumble closed the door and put his stuff away. On his desk he put a picture of him and his dad from when he was a filly. He put his old teddy bear on his bed, and he looked at the other side of the room. Butterscotch was placing his stuff in drawers very carefully. "You want some help unpacking?" Rumble asked. "Oh, if you don't mind", Butterscotch said, turning around. "Not at all", Rumble smiled. He began folding clothes and putting them in the piles. Sweet Celestia, this colt had more clothes then Scootaloo did. By the end of the day, the whole room was set up. The two colts energy was sucked out of them. The two went to sleep almost immediately that night. ~~ "So, Scootaloo's in the Academy?" Spitfire said. "Yeah", Fleet Foot said. "I saw her in the Kernell Hall." "Let's give her a few days to settle in", Spitfire smiled. "Because were gonna torture her so much, she'll quit." "But don't we want to get 1,000 Members in the Academy?" Fleet Foot asked. "Trust me, ponies are still begging to get in", Spitfire smirked. "What did Scootaloo do though?" Fleet Foot said, worry in her tone. "She's Lightning Dust's daughter", Spitfire said. "If she finds out that were torturing her, we'll get Lightning's attention and we can get back at her." "You make no sense Spitfire", Fleet Foot said. "Cause I'm in a good mood", Spitfire said. Chapter 2: Training"Alright newbies", Spitfire said, walking next to the line of the new students. "Today is your first day. It's not your last, so don't go all goofy. This is serious training, and you will listen to all orders." "Yes ma'am!" the class chanted. Scootaloo and Rumble both stood sternly in the line of Pegasi. Some of them didn't look qualified, others looked more than ready to train. Rumble seemed to be thinking, as he wasn't even breathing. Scootaloo slightly nudged him, and he woke up from his daze. "Now kiddies, I want twenty laps around the course, go!" Spitfire blew the whistle. All the ponies took off into the sky, with Rumble and Scootaloo like the leaders of the crowd of Pegasi. "This is a piece of cake", Rumble said, flying next to Scootaloo. "Don't be like that, other ponies think different", Scootaloo said. "Eh", Rumble said. The two finished first, almost making an Academy record from Rainbow Dash's. Next, the class did another fifty laps before taking a 30 second break. After that, the class did workouts and practices all day until everypony's wings were soar. Rumble and Scootaloo hung out in Rumble's room, considering Butterscotch was somewhere. "Do we even get vacation?" Rumble asked, closing the door behind him. "I think Hearts Warming", Scootaloo said, sitting on a chair. "Well, we'll make some new friends", Rumble said. "And some enemies." "I'm avoiding that", Scootaloo said. "Already got enough enemies." "Well, any enemies can go through me", Rumble said, sitting on his bed. "You do know I can take care of myself", Scootaloo chuckled. Rumble scoffed. "Do we get room service?" Scootaloo asked. "I wish", Rumble said. "I'mma head out", Scootaloo said. "Mk, I'll see ya", Rumble said, smiling. Scootaloo left the room to her dorm. Red Feathers was sleeping on her bundle of clothes, so Scootaloo silently went to bed. ~ The next morning, The Pony Press delivered their newspaper to The Wonderbolt Academy. Scootaloo went to go and get a copy. She inserted a bit into the box, and a newspaper popped out of the dispenser. Scootaloo flipped to the Latest Section, and began reading near the stand. "The Secret Unfolded of Scootaloo - the pony who died but revived. Mother of Celestia. The news was still writing about her!? And the whole Academy would know about her life!? She would be so humiliated. But, Scoot had to keep reading. The murderer of Scootaloo - Princess Twilight Sparkle - claims to have revived Scootaloo, but also killed her. She said she wanted some attention from one of The Elements Of Harmony - Fluttershy. The Princess has escaped from Canterlot Prison, and ponies are still on the search for the murderer of Scootaloo. Scootaloo closed the paper. All of this section is true, but why continue from when it was 900 moons ago? That was a little ridiculous. She saw some other ponies coming over to the News stand, and she couldn't say not to get the paper. They wouldn't listen. So, Scootaloo watched the ponies flip through the pages of the newspaper. When Scootaloo thought she had enough pain in watching, she turned around and began walking to her dorm. But of course - somepony had to say something. "Why should you be here if you were revived?" A voice spat. "Princess Twilight could've gave you special powers." Scootaloo turned around to see one of the official Wonderbolts, Misty Fly. She was injured obviously, considering her wing was crooked. "Because I wasn't given special powers, I was given life", Scootaloo scowled. "You don't deserve your spot on the team, you worthless mut", Mistly Fly said. Scootaloo had tears forming, so she turned around and walked to Rumble's dorm. She gripped the newspaper tight in her hoof, and she began thinking on how Rumble would react to this. ~ Scootaloo knocked on Rumble's door. Butterscotch opened it, and he greeted her. "Is Rumble here?" Scootaloo asked, sniffling. "H-he's grabbing some food", Butterscotch said. He let Scootaloo in, and she sat on Rumble's bed. Butterscotch went somewhere, leaving Scootaloo alone in the room. Rumble walked in the room, and saw Scootaloo beginning to cry. He ran over. "What happened?" he asked, panicked. Scootaloo gave him the paper. He flipped through the pages until he saw it. "They made fun of me", Scootaloo said, quickly whipping the tears away. Rumble just hugged her. "I feel like no pony loves me", Scootaloo sniffled. "Only Fluttershy and Dinky. Babs hates me, the press hate me, and now the Academy will hate me." "I'm pretty sure no pony hates you", Rumble said, releasing. "Everypony hates me", Scootaloo said. "All I do is cause trouble." Rumble sat on the bed with Scootaloo, making it sink a little. "I don't hate you", Rumble smiled. "Everypony always says that", Scootaloo muttered. She just stared at the tile floors. Rumble kissed her cheek, and Scootaloo slightly blushed in shock. "You have to stop putting yourself down", Rumble said. "I don't want you getting all depressed." "I'll try", Scootaloo said, still shocked from that moment before. "Now get out", Rumble chuckled. "I need to get my uniform on for training." Scootaloo nodded. She opened the door but Rumble's voice stopped her. "After practice, me and you hang out in YOUR dorm for a change." "I'll keep that in mind", Scootaloo laughed. ~ Chapter 4: The Lie"How many days have we been here?" Red Feathers said, spread across her pile of clothes. "We've been here for a month", Scootaloo chuckled. "It feels like forever!" Red Feathers groaned. "Red Feathers, you leave two months earlier then I do", Scootaloo said. "Yea, but my family is really needing me to come home", Red Feathers sighed. "Are you happy here?" "Yea, and I also met a colt", Red Feathers chuckled. "That's nifty", Scootaloo smiled. Red Feathers curled up on her pile of clothes, and went to bed. Scootaloo folded some of her clothes that were laying by themselves on her side of the room. When she picked up everything and put it away, she sat on her bed ready to go to sleep. Scootaloo pulled up the covers, and closed her eyes. But suddenly, there was a knock. Scootaloo groaned as she got up, and opened the door to Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash?" Scootaloo asked. "Hey squirt", Rainbow Dash said, panicked. "Why are you here?" "Flutters is in the hospital", Rainbow said. Scootaloo flipped out. "WHY!?" Scootaloo yelled, making Red Feathers look up. "She had a panic attack, and it wasn't exactly the best situation", Rainbow said. "Twilight tried stabbing her." "What hospital is she in?" Scootaloo panicked. "She's all the way in Canterlot, due to a transfer between Ponyville", Rainbow Dash sighed. "Mom told me she was alright", Scootaloo said. "Well, she's not alright", Rainbow Dash said. "She lied." "Where's the rest?" "Well, there all in Ponyville right now packing to go to the Hospital in Canterlot. I had to come get you - according to the Nurse." "Do you need to leave?" Red Feathers asked. "I'll be back", Scootaloo said. "Well, pack quick squirt", Rainbow Dash said. Scootaloo quickly packed her newly folded clothes, and put it in her saddlebag. "Red, tell Rumble I'm visiting my mom for you know why", Scootaloo said before leaving the room. "I promise I will tell him", Red Feathers said, trying to be assertive. Scootaloo closed the door, and the two Pegasi quickly flew to Canterlot. "Why was she sleeping on a pile of clothes?" Rainbow asked in the air. "She likes it", Scootaloo said. They made it to Canterlot Hospital, and made it too Fluttershy's room. "Mom!" Scootaloo said, slipping off her saddlebag near the door. Fluttershy laid in the hospital bed, obviously sleeping. "Hush Sugarcube, Flutter's sleepin' now", Applejack said. "I tried hosting a 'Get Well Soon Fluttershy Even Though Your Not Sick' party", Pinkie Pie tried whispering. "I do hope Fluttershy get's better from her panic attack", Rarity said. "She will", Scootaloo assured. "She might not though, because of the secret she's been keeping from you", Pinkie smiled. The rest of them gave Pinkie the death look. "What secret?" Scootaloo asked. "It's not really a 'secret', it's more of a lie", Applejack said. "She didn't want us to tell you because you would get worried", Rarity said. "It's a long story that if we told you it would have to be - private", Rainbow Dash said. "Then let's go somewhere private", Scootaloo said. "Sugarcube, were not supposed to tell you", Applejack said. "Well too late, I want to know", Scootaloo said. "Have a seat first", Rarity said, pulling up a chair for herself and Scootaloo. Scoot sat down, and began listening. "Before you left, Fluttershy was diagnosed with depression", Rainbow Dash began. "She couldn't handle how you were leaving because you left times before", Rarity said. "But I'm going to visit", Scootaloo said. "That's not all sugarcube", Applejack said. "Twilight has been appearing in Flutter's dreaming many times to count." "She also get's visions and flashbacks of when you died", Pinkie Pie said. "Fluttershy hasn't been the best." Scootaloo sat and thought about it. Fluttershy was diagnosed with depression. She isn't happy? "Now that Fluttershy had a panic attack, she may have a heart attack in the next few days", Rarity said. "Her blood sugar is very high." "So she has diabetes, and depression?" Scootaloo asked, almost about to cry. "When you leave, Fluttershy doesn't feel safe", Rainbow said. "Do I have to quit the Wonderbolts Academy?" Scootaloo asked. "No, not at all darling", Rarity said. "But somehow we have to get Twilight away from all of us back to Prison." "So until Twilight is in custody again, Fluttershy will be like this?" Scootaloo asked. "Afraid so", Applejack said. "Don't worry Scootaloo", Pinkie said. "We just have to be around Fluttershy and make her happy." "But I'm all the way in Rainbow Falls", Scootaloo said. "Then your going to have to come visit Canterlot and put your training aside", Applejack sighed. "I'm just worried they might kick me out of the Academy", Scootaloo sighed. "Me and the rest of the girls were trying to make a better plan, but sadly this is our only option", Rarity said. Fluttershy shifted in the hospital bed. "Now your gonna say hello to your mom, and pretend we never told you this", Applejack said sternly. "Alright?" Scootaloo nodded. At the same time, Fluttershy opened her eyes slowly. "What are you peasants doing here?" Fluttershy hissed. "Were here to greet you darling!" Rarity said getting up. "I thought you guys hated me", Fluttershy said. "We don't hate ya, but it was tiring coming all the way to Canterlot", Applejack said. "Why?" Fluttershy asked. "Because of your panic attack", Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly, a magical swirl began absorbing Fluttershy. The rest of the ponies stared in awe. When the magic began to fade away, there in front of them appeared Twilight Sparkle. "WHERE'S FLUTTERSHY!?" Scootaloo yelled, running up to Twilight and pinning her. "Oh she's somewhere you'll never think", Twilight smirked. "Hello girls!" Twilight teleported into thin air, and Scootaloo just looked at the ground and wondered what just happened. Chapter 5: The Talk."Twilight mastered Changeling magic?" Rarity questioned. "How!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "It appears she stole the 'Changeling Book' from the library", Princess Cadence said. "But why from the Crystal Empire?" Scootlaoo asked. "Princess Celestia told me to keep certain books in safe keeping, but clearly Twilight knew where I kept the book", Cadence replied, looking through the shelves one more time again. "She's gotta be hidin' somewhere", Applejack said. "Indeed, but until further notice I want you girls staying in Canterlot", Cadence reported. "But what if Twilight tries to come at us?" Pinkie asked. "Then you must do your best. The Elements will not work if just Twilight uses it for evil." "But, what if she does use the Elements?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Only Twilight and Princess Celestia know where the Elements are kept. If Twilight reaches them, and gives them to her evil allies, she and the rest will be unstoppable." "But she's already the Princess of Magic!" Rarity said. "Princess Celestia declared that she will not be called a Princess anymore", Cadence said. "She will be called just 'The Traitor'." "But what if The Traitor tries to take over Equestria?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Me and the Princess' have our own magic too, remember?" "How are we going to protect ourselves?" Pinkie asked. "What about, oooh ooh, golden armor!?" "Then you will need the Crystal of Hope", Princess Cadence sighed. "I have not seen it in a while, but it is in Canterlot with Princess Luna." "Princess, what if -", Applejack began. "There is no 'what if's', because there will be hope in this country", Princess Cadence snapped. "If Twilight's gone, can I have a 'Twilight Is Gone So Everpony Can Have Peace' party?" Pinkie Pie asked. Princess Cadence smiled slightly. "Sure." ~~ "I'm supposed to stay with you until you arrive at your next stop", the crystal guard reported. "Well thank ya kindly but-" Applejack began. "I was ordered by Princess Cadence and Shining Armor", the guard said. Shining Armor walked in from the other cart of the train. "We will be arriving in ten minutes", Shining said. "Shining, do you happen to know where Twilight is?" Rarity asked. "No", Shining sighed. "She hasn't been sending me letters since she was in custody - the first time." A regular white Pegasi guard walked in the cart. "Shining Armor, a report from Princess Celestia', the guard reported. "What is it?" "Princess Luna is missing", the guard said. "How is she missing!?" Shining Armor. "Because Princess Celestia rose the moon last night." "We need to find 'er!" Applejack said. "I'm afraid Miss Applejack, that we already know", the guard said. "There was a letter left." He pulled out a scroll from his uniform, and gave it to Shining Armor. "Dear Beloved Equestrians, It is I, Twilight Sparkle. Or, The Traitor as some say. Yes, Princess Luna is gone. I had some help. If you come and look for her, I have my magic ready to lock you away like the rest. Want some proof of my magic improved? Look for Trixie, Princess Cadence, Lyra Heartstrings, and soon all the powerful forces of Equestria. Look out, brother. Twilight." "So she stole Luna?" Rarity asked. "Afraid so", Shining Armor said. "We have to do something!" Rainbow Dash said. "What about going in and talk?" Pinkie Pie asked, but no one noticed. "I'm afraid, we cannot", Shining sighed. "How in tarnation are we gonna save the Princess if we don't go and help!" Applejack yelled. "By going in to talk!" Pinkie Pie yelled, but no one noticed. "Because, Changeling magic can absorb magic", Shining almost snapped. "Twilight has mastered that type of magic - and if a Unicorn like me tries to fight, she'll absorb all my magic." "So we need to fight, Pegasus Power Style!" Rainbow Dash snickered. "You do realize that she can put a force field?" Rarity asked. "We just have to go and talk", Scootaloo sighed. Pinkie Pie groaned. And so, they did. ~~ "This is where she's staying?" Rarity asked, facing the entrance of the cave underneath Canterlot. "Cadance said that only her and Twilight knew the way here", Shining Armor said. "We have to go in", Rainbow Dash said. "And then we can go and save the Princesses" Pinkie Pie smiled. Shining Armor led the way into the cave, and used his horn to light the way. "Sure is dark in here", Rarity commented. They continued walking until they began walking on pebbles. Shining cast the light over it, to see a path. "What's this?" Shining asked. He began walking along it, with the rest behind. But suddenly, a purple crystal wall surrounded them. "Came for your Princess?" a loud voice asked. "Reveal yourself, Twilight!" Shining Armor yelled. "Why so? You already know what I look like", Twilight's voice boomed. "Give us back Princess Luna!" Rarity yelled. "And Fluttershy!" Scootaloo added. "Don't worry, your precious little friends are okay", Twilight laughed. One of the walls came down, and laying there was Princess Luna. All of them gasped. "Scared?" Twilight's voice said. "What have you done, you monster!" Rarity screamed. "I'm not a monster, I'm Twilight." All of the ponies ran over to the dead body. Rarity began crying. Of course. "Princess Luna", Shining Armor whispered. "We will honor you." "Upset?" Twilight's voice asked. Another wall came down. A dead Spike laid. "We just came here to talk, not for you to torture us!" Applejack yelled. "Come on out!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Fine", the voice said. "But first..." Another wall came down, and this was the worst of them all. That was a dead Fluttershy. Chapter 6: Monsters"How dare you!" Applejack yelled, her tears falling. "It's easy really", Twilight said, as she teleported behind the group. All of them whipped around from Luna. All of them began crying, except Scootaloo. She just stared at Twilight. "You never take care of Fluttershy", Twilight said. "You never paid attention to her needs, she just let them fly away. But, she told Scootaloo everything." Scootaloo just stared. "You can't make her say anything!" Rarity said. "I can", Twilight said. She used her magic to pick up something from the shadows. Curled up in a ball, was Princess Cadence. "Don't risk it Scootaloo", she whispered. "Release her!" Pinkie Pie yelled. "Oh, silly Pinkie Pie", Twilight snickered. She used her magic to levitate her. "Silly, silly, Pinkie." Suddenly, Pinkie began choking. Twilight let her fall on the ground, and the ponies gasped. "All you need to do is talk Scootaloo, and these ponies will be okay", Twilight smiled. She kept staring. "How did you even become this way?" Shining Armor said. "From neglect of my friends", Twilight said. "Who didn't give me a chance to redeem myself." Pinkie Pie finally stopped coughing, and stood up beside her friends. Her eyes were filled with pure tears. "We didn't let you redeem yourself because you killed Scootaloo!" Rainbow Dash said. "You can't give somepony a chance when they killed another pony." "Why would anypony give you a chance?" Applejack snapped. Twilight looked away, she brought Princess Cadence to the ground and the magic faded. A tear fell to the ground from Twilight's eye. "I had to kill her", Twilight said. "Or else my allies would." "Who's that?" Applejack said. "Spitfire, and Fleet Foot", Twilight sighed. "I paid them to kill Scootaloo, but I'm the pony who made the plan. I wanted Scootaloo gone, so I could tell Fluttershy everything." "You killed our best friend", Pinkie Pie said. "I know I did!" Twilight snapped. She looked at the group of ponies who stood two yards away. "I never meant to do all of this", Twilight said, collapsing and beginning to cry. Princess Cadence walked over slowly, followed by Shining Armor. "But, why would you try to hurt your friend?" Shining Armor said, standing over her. "Do you think I wanted to hurt them!?" Twilight said. "Greed takes over my body." "You have to let that out", Princess Cadence said. "If you want to be close to forgiven, then you must tell us everything." "I don't remember most of it", Twilight cried, looking up to expose her tear-stained face. Scootaloo walked over, her face beginning to tear up also. "I'm sorry Scootaloo", Twilight said. "Save the sorry's for Jail", Scootaloo snapped. She kicked Twilight in the face, and walked back to the rest of the girls. Twilight sighed. She got up, and stared at her brother and her sister-in-law. "Now if you excuse me", Twilight said. "I have business to attend to." She teleported off. Scootaloo ran over to Fluttershy's dead body, and laid down next to her. She hugged Fluttershy, and she was cold. The rest of the girls walked over slowly. "She never wanted to hurt us", Rarity sniffled. "But she killed three ponies." Cadence and Shining Armor whispered to each other. "Fluttershy just wanted to protect Scootaloo", Rainbow Dash said, one of her tears showing. Applejack grabbed her hat, and put it to her chest. "She'll be remembered in our hearts, always", Applejack said. Scootaloo didn't let go of Fluttershy, she just kept hugging. "It's just us now", Rarity sighed. Cadence and Shining walked over. "We have to protect Celestia", Shining Armor said. "And of course - Cadence." "We have to find the Crystal Of Hope", Cadence said. Scootaloo got up, and walked over to the girls. "I need to come", Scootaloo said. "No, you need to go back and train", Rainbow Dash said. "You must make it into the Wonderbolts! It's your dream." Scootaloo groaned. ~~ "Please, find that crystal", Scootaloo said. "No need to worry", Applejack said. Scootaloo took off for Rainbow Falls. After a short fly, she saw her dorm building and flew her way down. She grabbed her key and unlocked the door to her room. But when she opened the door, a colt and a mare were making out on Red Feathers pile of clothes. Scootaloo quickly closed the door, and shivered. Scoot made her way to Rumble's dorm room. She knocked on the door, and Rumble answered. "Hey!" Rumble smiled, opening the door for her to come in. "Hi", Scootaloo smiled back. "I missed you." "Why would you miss me?" Rumble said, closing the door. "My mom died", Scootaloo whispered. Rumble took a step back. "Fluttershy!?" "That's my mom", Scootaloo said. "Or, my Guardian." "How?" "Twilight." "Oh." "Twilight also killed Princess Luna." Rumble went quiet. "And Spike." "Well, we need to do something", Rumble said. "No", Scootaloo said. "Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash have it covered." "But I wanna help!" Rumble whined, and Scootaloo chuckled. "Well, you can't", Scootaloo said. "Whats this?" Rumble asked, pointing to Scootaloo's eyes. There were bags underneath her eyes. "I was up all night on the train", Scootaloo said. "You should go to sleep", Rumble suggested, sitting on a chair. "Red Feathers is making out in the room", Scootaloo groaned. "Oh yea, Red and Butterscotch had a date", Rumble chuckled. "That went well." Scootaloo yawned. "I'll get them out of your room", Rumble laughed. "Please", Scootaloo laughed. ~~ "Who's next?" Spitfire asked. "Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash", Fleet Foot said. "Well, we have to stick to a schedule", Spitfire said, flying off to Ponyville. Fleet Foot groaned. "This isn't gonna end well, for all of Equestria." Chapter 7: Consider"Hello Cadence", Twilight smirked, standing in the Throne Room of the Crystal Empire. "Leave Twilight", Cadence said. "You aren't any good here." "Who said it was just me?" Twilight asked. She used her magic to make appear Shining Armor, with a collar around his neck. "Don't you dare hurt him!" Cadence said, shooting a ball of her magic at Twilight. She easily dodged the magic. "I'm not a fool", Twilight said. "Here's a deal." "What deal would you possibly want?" "You give me your Empire, I give you half of your subjects and your husband." "Why would you want my Empire!?" Cadence yelled. "She wants to defeat Celestia", Shining Armor sighed. "And right now, the Wonderbolts are attacking Ponyville under my command", Twilight smirked. "If you say no, I'll fight you." The Princess sighed. "Hand him over first." Twilight used her magic to make the collar disappear. Shining Armor ran over to Cadence, and hugged her. "Give me what I want," Twilight groaned. Cadence gave Twilight her crown. "There", Princess Cadence said. "My crown. Think anything you want and it becomes real." "Perfect", Twilight smiled. Suddenly, Princess Cadence had a rope around her neck. She began choking, and fell to the floor. "Take off that rope, now!" Shining Armor yelled. But, the same happened to him. And so, the two began choking on the rope getting tighter on their necks, until they were silent on the crystal floor. "Finally, some peace", Twilight said. Changes were made to the Empire. The Crystal Heart was taken by Twilight. She forced a sculptor to make it into a golden necklace, which he did perfectly. Twilight wore the necklace around her neck, with the Crystal Heart as the center piece. The subjects were given duties to fulfill for Twilight. An example, was capture innocent ponies. "This is going to be fun", Twilight laughed. ~~ "We finally get a day off", Rumble sighed, sitting next to Scootaloo in the Mess Hall. "Yeah", Scootaloo said, eating a Grass Sandwich. "They even told me I'm having some visitors today." "That's cool", Rumble smiled. "I just wonder who it is." "Wanna go find out?" Rumble asked. Scootaloo nodded. She finished up her sandwich, then led the way to her dorm. She unlocked the key, and opened the door. "Scootaloo!" "Dinky!?" Scootaloo gasped, seeing her best friend sitting on her bed. Dinky got up and hugged her. "It's been a while", Dinky whispered. Scootaloo hugged back. "Hey Dinky", Rumble said awkwardly in the doorway. Dinky jumped when she saw Rumble, and she released from the hug. "Hey Rumble", she smiled. "How did you get here?" Scootaloo said. Rumble closed the door. "I actually came here, by myself", Dinky said. "Why?" Scootaloo asked. "The Wonderbolts are taking over Ponyville", Dinky said, shivering. "One of the Pegasi told me their leader was (she gulped) Twilight." "That lying snitch", Scootaloo mumbled. "I came here to hide", Dinky said. "The Wonderbolts and some Crystal ponies are capturing ponies and bringing them to the Crystal Empire." "Where's Derpy!?" Scootaloo asked. "She's being forced to help capture ponies", Dinky sighed. "Did you see my mom!?" Rumble asked. "Being forced", Dinky said again. She sat on a chair. "We need to go and help", Rumble said, stomping his hoof on the floor. "No - we can't", Scootaloo said. "Why not!?" Dinky said. "Because were going against the best flyers in the world - and the pony who can kill Princess'." "Consider this Scootaloo", Rumble said. "You go in and help, and we'll be in Jail or killed because of bravery. If you don't go in and help, we'll be found and captured." "Sounds like the same thing", Scootaloo said. "That's not the point", Rumble groaned. "The point is, do you want to be a hero?" "No, I want to be regular", Scootaloo said. "And I already have stress on my shoulders." "I heard about Fluttershy", Dinky said. "I'm sorry." "Thanks", Scootaloo sighed. Rumble groaned. "Calm down", Scootaloo chuckled. "I'll consider it." "Please do", Rumble said. "So much for a day off." "It was your idea to do it", Dinky said. Rumble left the dorm. "Do you really want to go and risk yourself?" Dinky asked. "No", Scootaloo sighed. "Your gonna have to do something", Dinky said. "Princess Cadence and Shining Armor are missing." "But I just saw them yesterday!" Scootaloo yelled. "I swear to Celestia." "Well, make your decision soon", Dinky said. "Because, you'll need it." "Noted", Scootaloo groaned. Scootaloo made a little bed out of blankets and pillows on the floor next to her bed for Dinky. "Does Derpy know your here?" Scootaloo asked. "To be honest, I don't know", Dinky said, getting comfortable on the 'bed'. "What if she gets out of doing all this, where is she going to find you?" Scootaloo asked. "She knows the first place I would go is where you would go", Dinky said. "And, your here." Scootaloo chuckled. "I need to go and get some dinner", Scootaloo sighed. "Do you want something?" "I'd like some Grass Sandwiches", Dinky laughed. "Sure", Scootaloo said, heading out before dark. She went down the path to the Mess Hall for some dinner. She made inside and trotted up to the counter. A colt came up to the counter on the other side. Scootaloo ordered her meal - three Grass Sandwiches - and paid the colt. Scoot made it back to the dorm room, and put the Styrofoam box on the table that held the sandwiches. "I'm back!" Scootaloo said, looking at the side of her bed - but Dinky was gone. Scootaloo panicked. She looked at the floor, to see feathers. And, the color was purple. Rumble said to consider, and she just did. Chapter 3: Evil Meets It's Ways (SHORT)"Are you sure this'll work?" Babs asked, looking at Twilight. "Believe me. I mastered the Changelings magic long time ago", Twilight smirked, as she was ready to impersonate a lucky pony. Babs sighed, as she pulled up her hood to cover her identity. She walked out of the shadows of Canterlot. Babs trotted around the area where Twilight hid, until she saw a mare that particularly had wings. "Hey there!" Babs said, trotting over to the Pegasi. "Uhm, hello", the mare said, trying to walk away. "Do you need some nice shampoo for the shower?" Babs said. But as Babs tried to stall, Twilight began working on the spell. Changeling magic was hard to accomplish, but of course she got it. She took the form of the Pegasi that Babs was talking to, and when she came back Twilight greeted Babs in her new form. "Are you sure that's you Twilight?" Babs said, reaching her hoof out to make sure she wasn't invisible. Twilight slapped it away. "Yup it's Twilight", Babs chuckled. "We have a job to do", Twilight hissed. "Calm er'self", Babs said, taking a step back. "There's no time to calm down", Twilight said. "I brought you with me for a reason." "I didn't have to distract the Pegasi, didn't I!?" Babs snapped. "You didn't, but do I have too turn you into ashes!?" Twilight hissed. "Go on your mission without me", Babs said, walking away from the shadows. "Oh no you don't", Twilight said. She cast the spell on Babs, and she turned around in horror. "Like it?" Twilight smirked, showing off her new form - which was Babs. "How did you set the spell!?" Babs yelled. "Just because you don't see my horn doesn't mean it's not there", Twilight laughed. "Your a fool." "Take that form off now!" Babs said, getting ready to charge. "I also have wings", Twilight said mysteriously flying. You couldn't see her wings, but they were there. "I'll be back for you Twilight!" Babs yelled as Twilight flew away. Twilight just snickered. "Evil meets it's ways", she said to herself.
Chapter 1: AcademyThe Wonderbolt Academy. Home of the Pegasi whom will soon become Stars. The place where dreams are either crushed or come true. But, one Pegasi did not know how to fit in this competitive world, called the Academy. Scootaloo. She had not asked to join this giant team, she had been invited by Rumble, without her knowing. It was a grateful thing to invite Scootaloo, but not tell her was a different story. All the ponies back in Ponyville (well, some of the ponies) cried over Scootaloo's death. They also cried harder when they saw her and Rumble fly off to Rainbow Falls. Fluttershy, cried the most, considering she's loosing her daughter for a second time. Well, not daughter. Permanent Resident. Scootaloo was happy. She was going with her new best friend on an adventure to improve her skills. They flew to the Academy with their belongings in the saddlebag Rumble was carrying. Scootaloo wanted more time with Fluttershy before she left. She wouldn't admit it but she was going to miss her most of all. Next to Dinky of course. When they reached Rainbow Falls, the two quickly said goodbye before they separated to sign themselves in the Dorms. The Academy had added the Dorms a year before Scootaloo came. They were used so that way the Pegasi didn't have to fly home every night when their wings were soar. Scootaloo was assigned to the Kernell Hall. It was a three floor building made out of bricks. Scootaloo signed herself in at the Main Desk before she got her key and went to her room. She was assigned Room #127 which was on the first floor. After going through two hallways, she found her room and opened the door. A mess. A grey pony lay in the corner of the room on a pile of clothes. "Okay...", Scootaloo said to herself. The mare looked up and blushed. "Hi, I'm Red Feathers", the mare said. "Sorry, this is what I call a bed." Scootaloo looked at the other side of the room for a clean side and a bed. There was two drawers also, and a desk. "I'm Scootaloo", She said, closing the door with her back hooves and going to the clean side. Scootaloo realized: RUMBLE HAD ALL HER STUFF. He was in the General Hall, which was two buildings away. Scootaloo groaned to find nothing in the drawers except a uniform and goggles. Her bed sheets were white with blue spots, and her pillow just white. "Welcome to Room #127", Red Feathers said. "Thanks...", Scootaloo said. She laid on the bed in frustration considering she forgot her belongings with Rumble. "So where ya from?" Red Feathers asked, sitting on her pile-of-clothes-bed. "Ponyville", Scootaloo answered. "That's cool", Red Feathers said. "I'm from Manehattan. Don't worry, I'm not a snob." "I noticed", Scootaloo said. "Hey uhm, where's your stuff?" "My friend has it, I forgot to take it from him", Scootaloo groaned. "I can get it for you if you want", Red Feathers smiled. "You don't have too", Scootaloo said. "Please, as your new roommate, I will", Red Feathers said. "Fine, he's in the General Hall. His name is Rumble", Scootaloo mumbled. "I'll be back in a bit!" Red Feathers opened the door and flew out. "Some peace", Scootaloo said to herself. She went under the covers, and she fell asleep quickly. ~~ "Hey, I'm Rumble", Rumble greeted to his roommate walking in. "Hi, I-I'm Butterscotch", the yellow colt said, walking in. Rumble put down his bag, which was extremely heavy. He opened it, and took out stuff. But he noticed some - mare stuff. There was a knock on the door, and Rumble opened it. A grey pegasi with red feathers and mane stood in the doorway. "Are you Rumble?" the mare asked. "Uh, yea", Rumble awkwardly answered. "Why are you in the colt's dorm?" "I'm Scootaloo's roommate, I need her stuff", the mare said. "Uhm, okay", Rumble said. He took out all his stuff from the bag and gave it to the mare. "All her stuff is in there", Rumble said. "Thanks", the mare quickly flew away. Rumble closed the door and put his stuff away. On his desk he put a picture of him and his dad from when he was a filly. He put his old teddy bear on his bed, and he looked at the other side of the room. Butterscotch was placing his stuff in drawers very carefully. "You want some help unpacking?" Rumble asked. "Oh, if you don't mind", Butterscotch said, turning around. "Not at all", Rumble smiled. He began folding clothes and putting them in the piles. Sweet Celestia, this colt had more clothes then Scootaloo did. By the end of the day, the whole room was set up. The two colts energy was sucked out of them. The two went to sleep almost immediately that night. ~~ "So, Scootaloo's in the Academy?" Spitfire said. "Yeah", Fleet Foot said. "I saw her in the Kernell Hall." "Let's give her a few days to settle in", Spitfire smiled. "Because were gonna torture her so much, she'll quit." "But don't we want to get 1,000 Members in the Academy?" Fleet Foot asked. "Trust me, ponies are still begging to get in", Spitfire smirked. "What did Scootaloo do though?" Fleet Foot said, worry in her tone. "She's Lightning Dust's daughter", Spitfire said. "If she finds out that were torturing her, we'll get Lightning's attention and we can get back at her." "You make no sense Spitfire", Fleet Foot said. "Cause I'm in a good mood", Spitfire said.
Chapter 2: Training"Alright newbies", Spitfire said, walking next to the line of the new students. "Today is your first day. It's not your last, so don't go all goofy. This is serious training, and you will listen to all orders." "Yes ma'am!" the class chanted. Scootaloo and Rumble both stood sternly in the line of Pegasi. Some of them didn't look qualified, others looked more than ready to train. Rumble seemed to be thinking, as he wasn't even breathing. Scootaloo slightly nudged him, and he woke up from his daze. "Now kiddies, I want twenty laps around the course, go!" Spitfire blew the whistle. All the ponies took off into the sky, with Rumble and Scootaloo like the leaders of the crowd of Pegasi. "This is a piece of cake", Rumble said, flying next to Scootaloo. "Don't be like that, other ponies think different", Scootaloo said. "Eh", Rumble said. The two finished first, almost making an Academy record from Rainbow Dash's. Next, the class did another fifty laps before taking a 30 second break. After that, the class did workouts and practices all day until everypony's wings were soar. Rumble and Scootaloo hung out in Rumble's room, considering Butterscotch was somewhere. "Do we even get vacation?" Rumble asked, closing the door behind him. "I think Hearts Warming", Scootaloo said, sitting on a chair. "Well, we'll make some new friends", Rumble said. "And some enemies." "I'm avoiding that", Scootaloo said. "Already got enough enemies." "Well, any enemies can go through me", Rumble said, sitting on his bed. "You do know I can take care of myself", Scootaloo chuckled. Rumble scoffed. "Do we get room service?" Scootaloo asked. "I wish", Rumble said. "I'mma head out", Scootaloo said. "Mk, I'll see ya", Rumble said, smiling. Scootaloo left the room to her dorm. Red Feathers was sleeping on her bundle of clothes, so Scootaloo silently went to bed. ~ The next morning, The Pony Press delivered their newspaper to The Wonderbolt Academy. Scootaloo went to go and get a copy. She inserted a bit into the box, and a newspaper popped out of the dispenser. Scootaloo flipped to the Latest Section, and began reading near the stand. "The Secret Unfolded of Scootaloo - the pony who died but revived. Mother of Celestia. The news was still writing about her!? And the whole Academy would know about her life!? She would be so humiliated. But, Scoot had to keep reading. The murderer of Scootaloo - Princess Twilight Sparkle - claims to have revived Scootaloo, but also killed her. She said she wanted some attention from one of The Elements Of Harmony - Fluttershy. The Princess has escaped from Canterlot Prison, and ponies are still on the search for the murderer of Scootaloo. Scootaloo closed the paper. All of this section is true, but why continue from when it was 900 moons ago? That was a little ridiculous. She saw some other ponies coming over to the News stand, and she couldn't say not to get the paper. They wouldn't listen. So, Scootaloo watched the ponies flip through the pages of the newspaper. When Scootaloo thought she had enough pain in watching, she turned around and began walking to her dorm. But of course - somepony had to say something. "Why should you be here if you were revived?" A voice spat. "Princess Twilight could've gave you special powers." Scootaloo turned around to see one of the official Wonderbolts, Misty Fly. She was injured obviously, considering her wing was crooked. "Because I wasn't given special powers, I was given life", Scootaloo scowled. "You don't deserve your spot on the team, you worthless mut", Mistly Fly said. Scootaloo had tears forming, so she turned around and walked to Rumble's dorm. She gripped the newspaper tight in her hoof, and she began thinking on how Rumble would react to this. ~ Scootaloo knocked on Rumble's door. Butterscotch opened it, and he greeted her. "Is Rumble here?" Scootaloo asked, sniffling. "H-he's grabbing some food", Butterscotch said. He let Scootaloo in, and she sat on Rumble's bed. Butterscotch went somewhere, leaving Scootaloo alone in the room. Rumble walked in the room, and saw Scootaloo beginning to cry. He ran over. "What happened?" he asked, panicked. Scootaloo gave him the paper. He flipped through the pages until he saw it. "They made fun of me", Scootaloo said, quickly whipping the tears away. Rumble just hugged her. "I feel like no pony loves me", Scootaloo sniffled. "Only Fluttershy and Dinky. Babs hates me, the press hate me, and now the Academy will hate me." "I'm pretty sure no pony hates you", Rumble said, releasing. "Everypony hates me", Scootaloo said. "All I do is cause trouble." Rumble sat on the bed with Scootaloo, making it sink a little. "I don't hate you", Rumble smiled. "Everypony always says that", Scootaloo muttered. She just stared at the tile floors. Rumble kissed her cheek, and Scootaloo slightly blushed in shock. "You have to stop putting yourself down", Rumble said. "I don't want you getting all depressed." "I'll try", Scootaloo said, still shocked from that moment before. "Now get out", Rumble chuckled. "I need to get my uniform on for training." Scootaloo nodded. She opened the door but Rumble's voice stopped her. "After practice, me and you hang out in YOUR dorm for a change." "I'll keep that in mind", Scootaloo laughed. ~
Chapter 4: The Lie"How many days have we been here?" Red Feathers said, spread across her pile of clothes. "We've been here for a month", Scootaloo chuckled. "It feels like forever!" Red Feathers groaned. "Red Feathers, you leave two months earlier then I do", Scootaloo said. "Yea, but my family is really needing me to come home", Red Feathers sighed. "Are you happy here?" "Yea, and I also met a colt", Red Feathers chuckled. "That's nifty", Scootaloo smiled. Red Feathers curled up on her pile of clothes, and went to bed. Scootaloo folded some of her clothes that were laying by themselves on her side of the room. When she picked up everything and put it away, she sat on her bed ready to go to sleep. Scootaloo pulled up the covers, and closed her eyes. But suddenly, there was a knock. Scootaloo groaned as she got up, and opened the door to Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash?" Scootaloo asked. "Hey squirt", Rainbow Dash said, panicked. "Why are you here?" "Flutters is in the hospital", Rainbow said. Scootaloo flipped out. "WHY!?" Scootaloo yelled, making Red Feathers look up. "She had a panic attack, and it wasn't exactly the best situation", Rainbow said. "Twilight tried stabbing her." "What hospital is she in?" Scootaloo panicked. "She's all the way in Canterlot, due to a transfer between Ponyville", Rainbow Dash sighed. "Mom told me she was alright", Scootaloo said. "Well, she's not alright", Rainbow Dash said. "She lied." "Where's the rest?" "Well, there all in Ponyville right now packing to go to the Hospital in Canterlot. I had to come get you - according to the Nurse." "Do you need to leave?" Red Feathers asked. "I'll be back", Scootaloo said. "Well, pack quick squirt", Rainbow Dash said. Scootaloo quickly packed her newly folded clothes, and put it in her saddlebag. "Red, tell Rumble I'm visiting my mom for you know why", Scootaloo said before leaving the room. "I promise I will tell him", Red Feathers said, trying to be assertive. Scootaloo closed the door, and the two Pegasi quickly flew to Canterlot. "Why was she sleeping on a pile of clothes?" Rainbow asked in the air. "She likes it", Scootaloo said. They made it to Canterlot Hospital, and made it too Fluttershy's room. "Mom!" Scootaloo said, slipping off her saddlebag near the door. Fluttershy laid in the hospital bed, obviously sleeping. "Hush Sugarcube, Flutter's sleepin' now", Applejack said. "I tried hosting a 'Get Well Soon Fluttershy Even Though Your Not Sick' party", Pinkie Pie tried whispering. "I do hope Fluttershy get's better from her panic attack", Rarity said. "She will", Scootaloo assured. "She might not though, because of the secret she's been keeping from you", Pinkie smiled. The rest of them gave Pinkie the death look. "What secret?" Scootaloo asked. "It's not really a 'secret', it's more of a lie", Applejack said. "She didn't want us to tell you because you would get worried", Rarity said. "It's a long story that if we told you it would have to be - private", Rainbow Dash said. "Then let's go somewhere private", Scootaloo said. "Sugarcube, were not supposed to tell you", Applejack said. "Well too late, I want to know", Scootaloo said. "Have a seat first", Rarity said, pulling up a chair for herself and Scootaloo. Scoot sat down, and began listening. "Before you left, Fluttershy was diagnosed with depression", Rainbow Dash began. "She couldn't handle how you were leaving because you left times before", Rarity said. "But I'm going to visit", Scootaloo said. "That's not all sugarcube", Applejack said. "Twilight has been appearing in Flutter's dreaming many times to count." "She also get's visions and flashbacks of when you died", Pinkie Pie said. "Fluttershy hasn't been the best." Scootaloo sat and thought about it. Fluttershy was diagnosed with depression. She isn't happy? "Now that Fluttershy had a panic attack, she may have a heart attack in the next few days", Rarity said. "Her blood sugar is very high." "So she has diabetes, and depression?" Scootaloo asked, almost about to cry. "When you leave, Fluttershy doesn't feel safe", Rainbow said. "Do I have to quit the Wonderbolts Academy?" Scootaloo asked. "No, not at all darling", Rarity said. "But somehow we have to get Twilight away from all of us back to Prison." "So until Twilight is in custody again, Fluttershy will be like this?" Scootaloo asked. "Afraid so", Applejack said. "Don't worry Scootaloo", Pinkie said. "We just have to be around Fluttershy and make her happy." "But I'm all the way in Rainbow Falls", Scootaloo said. "Then your going to have to come visit Canterlot and put your training aside", Applejack sighed. "I'm just worried they might kick me out of the Academy", Scootaloo sighed. "Me and the rest of the girls were trying to make a better plan, but sadly this is our only option", Rarity said. Fluttershy shifted in the hospital bed. "Now your gonna say hello to your mom, and pretend we never told you this", Applejack said sternly. "Alright?" Scootaloo nodded. At the same time, Fluttershy opened her eyes slowly. "What are you peasants doing here?" Fluttershy hissed. "Were here to greet you darling!" Rarity said getting up. "I thought you guys hated me", Fluttershy said. "We don't hate ya, but it was tiring coming all the way to Canterlot", Applejack said. "Why?" Fluttershy asked. "Because of your panic attack", Rainbow Dash said. Suddenly, a magical swirl began absorbing Fluttershy. The rest of the ponies stared in awe. When the magic began to fade away, there in front of them appeared Twilight Sparkle. "WHERE'S FLUTTERSHY!?" Scootaloo yelled, running up to Twilight and pinning her. "Oh she's somewhere you'll never think", Twilight smirked. "Hello girls!" Twilight teleported into thin air, and Scootaloo just looked at the ground and wondered what just happened.
Chapter 5: The Talk."Twilight mastered Changeling magic?" Rarity questioned. "How!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "It appears she stole the 'Changeling Book' from the library", Princess Cadence said. "But why from the Crystal Empire?" Scootlaoo asked. "Princess Celestia told me to keep certain books in safe keeping, but clearly Twilight knew where I kept the book", Cadence replied, looking through the shelves one more time again. "She's gotta be hidin' somewhere", Applejack said. "Indeed, but until further notice I want you girls staying in Canterlot", Cadence reported. "But what if Twilight tries to come at us?" Pinkie asked. "Then you must do your best. The Elements will not work if just Twilight uses it for evil." "But, what if she does use the Elements?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Only Twilight and Princess Celestia know where the Elements are kept. If Twilight reaches them, and gives them to her evil allies, she and the rest will be unstoppable." "But she's already the Princess of Magic!" Rarity said. "Princess Celestia declared that she will not be called a Princess anymore", Cadence said. "She will be called just 'The Traitor'." "But what if The Traitor tries to take over Equestria?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Me and the Princess' have our own magic too, remember?" "How are we going to protect ourselves?" Pinkie asked. "What about, oooh ooh, golden armor!?" "Then you will need the Crystal of Hope", Princess Cadence sighed. "I have not seen it in a while, but it is in Canterlot with Princess Luna." "Princess, what if -", Applejack began. "There is no 'what if's', because there will be hope in this country", Princess Cadence snapped. "If Twilight's gone, can I have a 'Twilight Is Gone So Everpony Can Have Peace' party?" Pinkie Pie asked. Princess Cadence smiled slightly. "Sure." ~~ "I'm supposed to stay with you until you arrive at your next stop", the crystal guard reported. "Well thank ya kindly but-" Applejack began. "I was ordered by Princess Cadence and Shining Armor", the guard said. Shining Armor walked in from the other cart of the train. "We will be arriving in ten minutes", Shining said. "Shining, do you happen to know where Twilight is?" Rarity asked. "No", Shining sighed. "She hasn't been sending me letters since she was in custody - the first time." A regular white Pegasi guard walked in the cart. "Shining Armor, a report from Princess Celestia', the guard reported. "What is it?" "Princess Luna is missing", the guard said. "How is she missing!?" Shining Armor. "Because Princess Celestia rose the moon last night." "We need to find 'er!" Applejack said. "I'm afraid Miss Applejack, that we already know", the guard said. "There was a letter left." He pulled out a scroll from his uniform, and gave it to Shining Armor. "Dear Beloved Equestrians, It is I, Twilight Sparkle. Or, The Traitor as some say. Yes, Princess Luna is gone. I had some help. If you come and look for her, I have my magic ready to lock you away like the rest. Want some proof of my magic improved? Look for Trixie, Princess Cadence, Lyra Heartstrings, and soon all the powerful forces of Equestria. Look out, brother. Twilight." "So she stole Luna?" Rarity asked. "Afraid so", Shining Armor said. "We have to do something!" Rainbow Dash said. "What about going in and talk?" Pinkie Pie asked, but no one noticed. "I'm afraid, we cannot", Shining sighed. "How in tarnation are we gonna save the Princess if we don't go and help!" Applejack yelled. "By going in to talk!" Pinkie Pie yelled, but no one noticed. "Because, Changeling magic can absorb magic", Shining almost snapped. "Twilight has mastered that type of magic - and if a Unicorn like me tries to fight, she'll absorb all my magic." "So we need to fight, Pegasus Power Style!" Rainbow Dash snickered. "You do realize that she can put a force field?" Rarity asked. "We just have to go and talk", Scootaloo sighed. Pinkie Pie groaned. And so, they did. ~~ "This is where she's staying?" Rarity asked, facing the entrance of the cave underneath Canterlot. "Cadance said that only her and Twilight knew the way here", Shining Armor said. "We have to go in", Rainbow Dash said. "And then we can go and save the Princesses" Pinkie Pie smiled. Shining Armor led the way into the cave, and used his horn to light the way. "Sure is dark in here", Rarity commented. They continued walking until they began walking on pebbles. Shining cast the light over it, to see a path. "What's this?" Shining asked. He began walking along it, with the rest behind. But suddenly, a purple crystal wall surrounded them. "Came for your Princess?" a loud voice asked. "Reveal yourself, Twilight!" Shining Armor yelled. "Why so? You already know what I look like", Twilight's voice boomed. "Give us back Princess Luna!" Rarity yelled. "And Fluttershy!" Scootaloo added. "Don't worry, your precious little friends are okay", Twilight laughed. One of the walls came down, and laying there was Princess Luna. All of them gasped. "Scared?" Twilight's voice said. "What have you done, you monster!" Rarity screamed. "I'm not a monster, I'm Twilight." All of the ponies ran over to the dead body. Rarity began crying. Of course. "Princess Luna", Shining Armor whispered. "We will honor you." "Upset?" Twilight's voice asked. Another wall came down. A dead Spike laid. "We just came here to talk, not for you to torture us!" Applejack yelled. "Come on out!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Fine", the voice said. "But first..." Another wall came down, and this was the worst of them all. That was a dead Fluttershy.
Chapter 6: Monsters"How dare you!" Applejack yelled, her tears falling. "It's easy really", Twilight said, as she teleported behind the group. All of them whipped around from Luna. All of them began crying, except Scootaloo. She just stared at Twilight. "You never take care of Fluttershy", Twilight said. "You never paid attention to her needs, she just let them fly away. But, she told Scootaloo everything." Scootaloo just stared. "You can't make her say anything!" Rarity said. "I can", Twilight said. She used her magic to pick up something from the shadows. Curled up in a ball, was Princess Cadence. "Don't risk it Scootaloo", she whispered. "Release her!" Pinkie Pie yelled. "Oh, silly Pinkie Pie", Twilight snickered. She used her magic to levitate her. "Silly, silly, Pinkie." Suddenly, Pinkie began choking. Twilight let her fall on the ground, and the ponies gasped. "All you need to do is talk Scootaloo, and these ponies will be okay", Twilight smiled. She kept staring. "How did you even become this way?" Shining Armor said. "From neglect of my friends", Twilight said. "Who didn't give me a chance to redeem myself." Pinkie Pie finally stopped coughing, and stood up beside her friends. Her eyes were filled with pure tears. "We didn't let you redeem yourself because you killed Scootaloo!" Rainbow Dash said. "You can't give somepony a chance when they killed another pony." "Why would anypony give you a chance?" Applejack snapped. Twilight looked away, she brought Princess Cadence to the ground and the magic faded. A tear fell to the ground from Twilight's eye. "I had to kill her", Twilight said. "Or else my allies would." "Who's that?" Applejack said. "Spitfire, and Fleet Foot", Twilight sighed. "I paid them to kill Scootaloo, but I'm the pony who made the plan. I wanted Scootaloo gone, so I could tell Fluttershy everything." "You killed our best friend", Pinkie Pie said. "I know I did!" Twilight snapped. She looked at the group of ponies who stood two yards away. "I never meant to do all of this", Twilight said, collapsing and beginning to cry. Princess Cadence walked over slowly, followed by Shining Armor. "But, why would you try to hurt your friend?" Shining Armor said, standing over her. "Do you think I wanted to hurt them!?" Twilight said. "Greed takes over my body." "You have to let that out", Princess Cadence said. "If you want to be close to forgiven, then you must tell us everything." "I don't remember most of it", Twilight cried, looking up to expose her tear-stained face. Scootaloo walked over, her face beginning to tear up also. "I'm sorry Scootaloo", Twilight said. "Save the sorry's for Jail", Scootaloo snapped. She kicked Twilight in the face, and walked back to the rest of the girls. Twilight sighed. She got up, and stared at her brother and her sister-in-law. "Now if you excuse me", Twilight said. "I have business to attend to." She teleported off. Scootaloo ran over to Fluttershy's dead body, and laid down next to her. She hugged Fluttershy, and she was cold. The rest of the girls walked over slowly. "She never wanted to hurt us", Rarity sniffled. "But she killed three ponies." Cadence and Shining Armor whispered to each other. "Fluttershy just wanted to protect Scootaloo", Rainbow Dash said, one of her tears showing. Applejack grabbed her hat, and put it to her chest. "She'll be remembered in our hearts, always", Applejack said. Scootaloo didn't let go of Fluttershy, she just kept hugging. "It's just us now", Rarity sighed. Cadence and Shining walked over. "We have to protect Celestia", Shining Armor said. "And of course - Cadence." "We have to find the Crystal Of Hope", Cadence said. Scootaloo got up, and walked over to the girls. "I need to come", Scootaloo said. "No, you need to go back and train", Rainbow Dash said. "You must make it into the Wonderbolts! It's your dream." Scootaloo groaned. ~~ "Please, find that crystal", Scootaloo said. "No need to worry", Applejack said. Scootaloo took off for Rainbow Falls. After a short fly, she saw her dorm building and flew her way down. She grabbed her key and unlocked the door to her room. But when she opened the door, a colt and a mare were making out on Red Feathers pile of clothes. Scootaloo quickly closed the door, and shivered. Scoot made her way to Rumble's dorm room. She knocked on the door, and Rumble answered. "Hey!" Rumble smiled, opening the door for her to come in. "Hi", Scootaloo smiled back. "I missed you." "Why would you miss me?" Rumble said, closing the door. "My mom died", Scootaloo whispered. Rumble took a step back. "Fluttershy!?" "That's my mom", Scootaloo said. "Or, my Guardian." "How?" "Twilight." "Oh." "Twilight also killed Princess Luna." Rumble went quiet. "And Spike." "Well, we need to do something", Rumble said. "No", Scootaloo said. "Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash have it covered." "But I wanna help!" Rumble whined, and Scootaloo chuckled. "Well, you can't", Scootaloo said. "Whats this?" Rumble asked, pointing to Scootaloo's eyes. There were bags underneath her eyes. "I was up all night on the train", Scootaloo said. "You should go to sleep", Rumble suggested, sitting on a chair. "Red Feathers is making out in the room", Scootaloo groaned. "Oh yea, Red and Butterscotch had a date", Rumble chuckled. "That went well." Scootaloo yawned. "I'll get them out of your room", Rumble laughed. "Please", Scootaloo laughed. ~~ "Who's next?" Spitfire asked. "Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash", Fleet Foot said. "Well, we have to stick to a schedule", Spitfire said, flying off to Ponyville. Fleet Foot groaned. "This isn't gonna end well, for all of Equestria."
Chapter 7: Consider"Hello Cadence", Twilight smirked, standing in the Throne Room of the Crystal Empire. "Leave Twilight", Cadence said. "You aren't any good here." "Who said it was just me?" Twilight asked. She used her magic to make appear Shining Armor, with a collar around his neck. "Don't you dare hurt him!" Cadence said, shooting a ball of her magic at Twilight. She easily dodged the magic. "I'm not a fool", Twilight said. "Here's a deal." "What deal would you possibly want?" "You give me your Empire, I give you half of your subjects and your husband." "Why would you want my Empire!?" Cadence yelled. "She wants to defeat Celestia", Shining Armor sighed. "And right now, the Wonderbolts are attacking Ponyville under my command", Twilight smirked. "If you say no, I'll fight you." The Princess sighed. "Hand him over first." Twilight used her magic to make the collar disappear. Shining Armor ran over to Cadence, and hugged her. "Give me what I want," Twilight groaned. Cadence gave Twilight her crown. "There", Princess Cadence said. "My crown. Think anything you want and it becomes real." "Perfect", Twilight smiled. Suddenly, Princess Cadence had a rope around her neck. She began choking, and fell to the floor. "Take off that rope, now!" Shining Armor yelled. But, the same happened to him. And so, the two began choking on the rope getting tighter on their necks, until they were silent on the crystal floor. "Finally, some peace", Twilight said. Changes were made to the Empire. The Crystal Heart was taken by Twilight. She forced a sculptor to make it into a golden necklace, which he did perfectly. Twilight wore the necklace around her neck, with the Crystal Heart as the center piece. The subjects were given duties to fulfill for Twilight. An example, was capture innocent ponies. "This is going to be fun", Twilight laughed. ~~ "We finally get a day off", Rumble sighed, sitting next to Scootaloo in the Mess Hall. "Yeah", Scootaloo said, eating a Grass Sandwich. "They even told me I'm having some visitors today." "That's cool", Rumble smiled. "I just wonder who it is." "Wanna go find out?" Rumble asked. Scootaloo nodded. She finished up her sandwich, then led the way to her dorm. She unlocked the key, and opened the door. "Scootaloo!" "Dinky!?" Scootaloo gasped, seeing her best friend sitting on her bed. Dinky got up and hugged her. "It's been a while", Dinky whispered. Scootaloo hugged back. "Hey Dinky", Rumble said awkwardly in the doorway. Dinky jumped when she saw Rumble, and she released from the hug. "Hey Rumble", she smiled. "How did you get here?" Scootaloo said. Rumble closed the door. "I actually came here, by myself", Dinky said. "Why?" Scootaloo asked. "The Wonderbolts are taking over Ponyville", Dinky said, shivering. "One of the Pegasi told me their leader was (she gulped) Twilight." "That lying snitch", Scootaloo mumbled. "I came here to hide", Dinky said. "The Wonderbolts and some Crystal ponies are capturing ponies and bringing them to the Crystal Empire." "Where's Derpy!?" Scootaloo asked. "She's being forced to help capture ponies", Dinky sighed. "Did you see my mom!?" Rumble asked. "Being forced", Dinky said again. She sat on a chair. "We need to go and help", Rumble said, stomping his hoof on the floor. "No - we can't", Scootaloo said. "Why not!?" Dinky said. "Because were going against the best flyers in the world - and the pony who can kill Princess'." "Consider this Scootaloo", Rumble said. "You go in and help, and we'll be in Jail or killed because of bravery. If you don't go in and help, we'll be found and captured." "Sounds like the same thing", Scootaloo said. "That's not the point", Rumble groaned. "The point is, do you want to be a hero?" "No, I want to be regular", Scootaloo said. "And I already have stress on my shoulders." "I heard about Fluttershy", Dinky said. "I'm sorry." "Thanks", Scootaloo sighed. Rumble groaned. "Calm down", Scootaloo chuckled. "I'll consider it." "Please do", Rumble said. "So much for a day off." "It was your idea to do it", Dinky said. Rumble left the dorm. "Do you really want to go and risk yourself?" Dinky asked. "No", Scootaloo sighed. "Your gonna have to do something", Dinky said. "Princess Cadence and Shining Armor are missing." "But I just saw them yesterday!" Scootaloo yelled. "I swear to Celestia." "Well, make your decision soon", Dinky said. "Because, you'll need it." "Noted", Scootaloo groaned. Scootaloo made a little bed out of blankets and pillows on the floor next to her bed for Dinky. "Does Derpy know your here?" Scootaloo asked. "To be honest, I don't know", Dinky said, getting comfortable on the 'bed'. "What if she gets out of doing all this, where is she going to find you?" Scootaloo asked. "She knows the first place I would go is where you would go", Dinky said. "And, your here." Scootaloo chuckled. "I need to go and get some dinner", Scootaloo sighed. "Do you want something?" "I'd like some Grass Sandwiches", Dinky laughed. "Sure", Scootaloo said, heading out before dark. She went down the path to the Mess Hall for some dinner. She made inside and trotted up to the counter. A colt came up to the counter on the other side. Scootaloo ordered her meal - three Grass Sandwiches - and paid the colt. Scoot made it back to the dorm room, and put the Styrofoam box on the table that held the sandwiches. "I'm back!" Scootaloo said, looking at the side of her bed - but Dinky was gone. Scootaloo panicked. She looked at the floor, to see feathers. And, the color was purple. Rumble said to consider, and she just did.
Chapter 3: Evil Meets It's Ways (SHORT)"Are you sure this'll work?" Babs asked, looking at Twilight. "Believe me. I mastered the Changelings magic long time ago", Twilight smirked, as she was ready to impersonate a lucky pony. Babs sighed, as she pulled up her hood to cover her identity. She walked out of the shadows of Canterlot. Babs trotted around the area where Twilight hid, until she saw a mare that particularly had wings. "Hey there!" Babs said, trotting over to the Pegasi. "Uhm, hello", the mare said, trying to walk away. "Do you need some nice shampoo for the shower?" Babs said. But as Babs tried to stall, Twilight began working on the spell. Changeling magic was hard to accomplish, but of course she got it. She took the form of the Pegasi that Babs was talking to, and when she came back Twilight greeted Babs in her new form. "Are you sure that's you Twilight?" Babs said, reaching her hoof out to make sure she wasn't invisible. Twilight slapped it away. "Yup it's Twilight", Babs chuckled. "We have a job to do", Twilight hissed. "Calm er'self", Babs said, taking a step back. "There's no time to calm down", Twilight said. "I brought you with me for a reason." "I didn't have to distract the Pegasi, didn't I!?" Babs snapped. "You didn't, but do I have too turn you into ashes!?" Twilight hissed. "Go on your mission without me", Babs said, walking away from the shadows. "Oh no you don't", Twilight said. She cast the spell on Babs, and she turned around in horror. "Like it?" Twilight smirked, showing off her new form - which was Babs. "How did you set the spell!?" Babs yelled. "Just because you don't see my horn doesn't mean it's not there", Twilight laughed. "Your a fool." "Take that form off now!" Babs said, getting ready to charge. "I also have wings", Twilight said mysteriously flying. You couldn't see her wings, but they were there. "I'll be back for you Twilight!" Babs yelled as Twilight flew away. Twilight just snickered. "Evil meets it's ways", she said to herself.
