I re-re-re-re-re-re-read the unexpected letter that Princess Celestia had sent me. Honesty I has relived to get a letter from Celestia. Celestia said she was going to The Crystal Empire to review a Canterlot scholar's work there. He had made some new technology that was supposedly like non-other thing created by the hooves of pony kind before. Well that's how Celestia put it. She asked if I wanted to come with her but I declined saying I would much rather be doing some kind of studies or job for Celestia why'll she was gone. But I came to her private chariot to see her off.
"Oh Twilight are you sure you don't want to come?" Celestia asked,
"No I've made up my mind. I'll be much more comfortable here doing whatever task you want me to do."
Celestia than said. the worst possible thing. she could have said. at that time.
"Oh Twilight, why don't you take the week off?"
"What? Ah-bu-but there must be someth- no, ANY-thing I could do?" I stammered, no way ready for what Celestia was about to say,
"Actually yes Twilight, yes there is"
I let out a sigh of relief,
"Oh Thank Goodness! For i second I thought that you an- "
"Take a vacation"
"-and I wou- wait what?" Oh no, I'm remembering it,
"and spend time with your friends, you've been working too hard lately," Celestia said, "now run on home, you can't be finished exploring your new castle already can you? Get your friends together, look for secret passage ways. Hmhm," She giggled for the first time I've ever seen, "I sure found some good ones in my first castle"
"But Princess!" I was actually scared.
"No. Not another word of it." Celestia was done talking I could tell, "Don't worry twilight when I get back I'll have more than enough study material for the both of us. Well I must be going, wouldn't want to be late. Bye! Oh and check the book shelves! There's always a secret door shelf..."
Celestia climbed into her chariot.
'Wait us?!" I didn't know what she meant.
"Well like I said before this is brand new, like nothing else ever made! So I thought we could study together and this scholar could stay with us and help us along."
"Well then um uh," I was running out of options, "well can I reconsider coming with you then?"
"Oh Twilight, becoming a princess hasn't changed you a bit. But I've decided that you need a-"
"Please don't say it!" I said a bit louder than intended,
"Haha, fine. Well I'll see you in a week."
And that was that. Celestia was gone and I was standing there. On Celestia's private chariot station...on the one thing that I hate most of all...vacation!
