Pinkamena 6: The Walking Dead
Petrified Foal / Terrified Mare
Previous ChapterNext ChapterFern knocked on the door to Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack answered.
"Well, howdy, Fern." she greeted, less cheerful than usual.
"May I see Applebloom?"
"Of course."
Applejack and Fern headed for the little filly's room. Fern opened the door.
"Apple Bloom?" she asked.
She stepped inside. Apple Bloom was still asleep in bed. Fern let out a sigh.
"Still asleep?" asked Fern.
"Yeah." said Applejack. "She sleeps all day and has nightmares at night. And when she's not sleeping, she just stays in bed."
"Poor thing." said Fern sympathetically. "Pinkamena really did a number on her."
"Just be glad we don't have to deal with her again." said Applejack.
Pinkamena sat in a chair in the back room of Zack's game shop. She was reading the instruction booklet to one of the games when Zack appeared.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Reading." answered Pinkamena. "I honestly don't know how you colts can play these things all the time without forgetting the controls."
"We have years and years of practice. Some of us play our first game a few years after we're born."
"Is that so?" asked Pinkamena, setting the booklet down.
"As far as I know."
"Uh-huh." said Pinkamena, almost mockingly.
Just then the bell on the front door rang, signaling a visitor. A shiver ran down Zack's spine. Pinkamena stared at him until he left the back room. Pinkamena waited to hear the right set of words, but they never came.
"You're finally here." said Zack. "And with a box."
"It's the new games that just came out." said a mare's voice. "I'll just go put them in the back."
"The back?" asked Zack. "Wait."
"I'm not gonna wait, Zack. This box is really heavy."
The mare stepped into the back room. She then set down the box and turned to head back out front. Pinkamena ran up behind her and pinned her against the wall.
"OH, MY GOD!" yelled the mare.
"Surprised?" asked Pinkamena.
Zack ran into the back room.
"Don't hurt her!"
Pinkamena scowled at him. "I thought we had an arrangement, Zack."
"Not her, though. Please."
"And what's so special about her?" asked Pinkamena. She stared into his eyes. "Oh. I've seen that look before." She let out a giggle as she turned her gaze back to the mare. "And what's your name?"
"Kit Kat." answered the mare, frightened. "B-but everypony just c-calls me Kat."
"Kit Kat, huh?" asked Pinkamena. "Sounds... delicious." She let out a laugh. "Well, now you must let me taste her."
"No!' yelled Zack.
"Oh, come on, Zack. If you don't share a bit of your Kit Kat... I may just have to steal the whole thing."
Pinkamena moved closer to the mare's skin.
"Don't!" yelled Zack.
Using the tip of one of her teeth, she created a small cut on Kat's shoulder. She then proceeded to suck out some of the blood. When she was finished, she shoved Kat towards Zack. He caught her as Pinkamena licked her lips. The pink mare looked over at them and laughed.
"You look surprised. Did you think I was gonna eat her?"
"More or less." said Zack, helping Kat back to her hooves.
"This is it, though." said Pinkamena. "No more baggage. The next one's mine." She smiled. "Only four more to go."
