A Little Visit From A Favorite

It was a warm spring saturday morning in Florida. Birds chirping, Sun shining down through a stain glass window.  There in a little house was a brony. His name was Austin. Austin was just average kid... Ok that's a huge lie. Austin was a werido. An impulsive, Random yet creative and artistic weirdo.. and yet for that he had gotten somewhat popularity. He most certainly wasn't the most popular person around but he wasn't that one guy in corner hiding either. He had always loved cartoons and when he heard of this 'My Little Pony's crap becoming popular again.... Well he didn't really knock it but really what could all these full grown men see in a show aimed for eight year old girls? It also didn't help that his first introduction was with horror art of the show. But in September of 2011 he finally said 'Screw it's and gave the show a watch.

"Pfft... Ok I'm finally watching this damn show.. my friends better be happy." He mumbled to himself as he went down to Youtube and searched up and episode. Around the time Season Two had just begun. So he started with that.

"Whoopie characters!" He mimicked as the group of ponies walked into the castle gardens.

After that... the the rest is in brony history. Austin was immediately hooked on the show. He began drawing because that was his flame. His passion was to cartoon and after trying all the different characters, he had gotten pretty good at it.. He told his friends to watch it then they were hooked too! This was becoming a complete success!

Pretty soon he began Roleplaying and he found out... he had a certain affection for Rainbow Dash. Well not him exactly but his OC to be more exact. She was his favorite from the start. Her cute crackly voice, Her ability to fly at God knows how fast, her mane, tomboy nature, etc. She was just a great character. He even decided to make a Tumblr for her and his OC 'Ask Austin and Dashie'.

It wasn't the biggest pony blog out there but it was liked enough that he wanted to keep going with it. So on this day he did what he usually did on a Saturday alone.

Today's episode 'Sonic Rainboom'

It was a personal favorite of his. Not just because of it having Rainbow Dash in it but because of it's moral and great animation too. A sketch of his OC and Dash flying together in his Sketchbook. Until he heard that familiar quote.

"Hold on Rarity! I'm coming!" Said the Rainbow maned pony flying down to catch her friend.

Austin had looked up to see this, as he thought this was the best part of the episode. As Dash grew closer and closer to saving Rarity and even the Wonderbolts themsleves, Austin's smile grew ever bigger as this part happened. His long wavy hair parted to the sides of his face. Then it happened.

The Sonic Rainboom.

The spectrum of colors grew across the screen in a wide shot showing all of it's glory. Austin gave a small clap at this part as he always did. But just then another sound hit. A large *BOOM* hit what seemed to be the whole dang city. His window shattering from the eruption of sound and large waves almost shaking the room filled with old nostalgic stuff. Austin had taken cover underneath his Futon, which was still a bed. He was too lazy to change it back to normal. When the long shaking of the ground stopped along with the car alarms. There was a knock at the red door at the front of his house.

"Who the hell could that be after a thing like that?! Heh, maybe it's the neighbors.." he said sarcastically as he took the short walk across the wooden flooring to the door. He unlocked it and opened it and he couldn't believe his eyes. Down below him was Rainbow Dash. Not some dumb not like the show toy Dash either, this seemed like the real deal. Austin was at a loss for words. His mouth in the shape of an 'O'. His eyes as big as dinner plates. Rainbow Dash. At his door. Holy mother of God. There was an awkward silence floating around until Dash finally decided to speak up.

"Uh hey there. Is this the place where Austin lives?" She said in that voice that he knew and loved and giving him that cocky half smile she always gave in the show.

Austin was stunned. Amazed and filled with questions of how and why this was happening. But what guy wouldn't. Was he secretly doing drugs and he himself didn't know. Was Rainbow Dash ingraved into his mind permanently? He didn't know. All of this was too much for his mind to handle. So he did something that he had never done before in his life.

He had blacked out. Fainted. This had to be a dream....

Pretty soon he heard a voice and something light and soft poking his forehead. As he slowly opened his blurry visioned brown eyes. He saw Rainbow Dash poking him and saying something.

"Hey! You really need to get up now! I can explain all of this of you get your lazy flank off the ground and listen to me!"

She was very demanding. Her blue wings spread out at her sides. Her soft and almost silk like touch on his skin made him shiver a bit as he shook his head.

Yep. This was most certainly not a dream..

He sat up rubbing his head. His cushiony hair breaking most of his fall onto the hard floor. He still couldn't believe it... Rainbow Dash in his house. He couldn't speak except in odd stutters.

"R-Rainbow D-Dash... O-Oh my freaking g-god..."

All the pony could do was chuckle before hovering into the air, helping to pick the tall boy up. "And you were expecting who? Twilight Sparkle?"
