The sun shun high above the Capital whom castle was built on the side of a mountain, as though stuck to it rather then built into. A feat that had many, who knew naught of the working of this world, to stare in marvel and horror as they considered the stupidity or insanity of those who lived their.
It was a day like any other. Except for the unfortunate pony trapped between a tree and a rather furious looking Pokemon in the middle of a tiny clearing in a dense forest.
This yellow mane, green coated mare could only watch as the tall and rather muscular biped wearing a tight set of dark underwear and a belt, continued to rant at her with variations of the one word it seemed to know; “Machoke!”
“I told you, I've no clue what you're saying you obnoxious, sweaty, bulky demon!”
“Machoke!”
To say that their conversation was getting nowhere would be only partially true, for the rather tall biped was now angry, well, more so then before.
It stepped forward as it raised its arm to slap the mare who tried to step back with wide eyes only to be reminded of the tree her rear was already pressed against.
A loud smack from behind them, one that threw up a plumb of dust, drew their attention.
“Stand down foul beast, for I have arrived! I, the greatest Pokemon to have ever graced all seventy six worlds!” Declared the being shrouded by the dust, “I, who have defeated countless warriors, climbed numerous waterfalls, leapt over insurmountable mountains!” The dust began to clear, “Shall defeat you with my magnificence if you do not yield!”
The dust cleared to reveal the glistening red scales and fierce glare of a Magikarp that lay on its side.
For a long moment the Machoke and the mare stared in disbelief at the talking fish before they chose to ignore it and continue their argument.
“You have been warned!” Yelled the fish as it began to splash across the ground towards its prey and tackled it in the side of its head.
The Machoke looked back at the Magikarp and kicked it with enough force to shoot it into a tree across the clearing with a loud smack and a spray of bark. For a moment a heavy silence hung over them, a silence that grew in tension.
Suddenly the Magikarp shot from the tree, breaking it in two. It collided with the Machoke, the force of which pushed the biped into the nearest tree.
The Machoke doubled over as it gripped it's gut. A primal sense of urgency forced open its eyes to see the single visible eye of the red fish stare up from the ground directly beneath him. The glare that promised no mercy filled the biped with fear;
“For your attempts to harm this deformed Ponyta-”
“Hey!-”
“You shall be defeated.”
With those words the fish began to bounce, it slashed about as the poor, defenseless Machoke could only look on as it grip its gut in pain. Suddenly the fish leapt wildly, slamming itself into the biped as it flailed about.
The Machoke endured the beating before anger and desperation took hold. With a mighty swing it knocked the fish away only for it to ricocheted off several trees before it tackled the biped and quickly continue to flail again.
With a hit the landed the Magikarp above the Machoke, it bounced off its head only to soar high into the air before it fell from the sky to tackle the biped into the ground with a bang.
As the dust settled the Magikarp stood, sort of, with it's two fins so that it can watch it's foe with both eyes.
When the dust cleared the Machoke lay unmoving with its face planted firmly in the dirt and its rear held high in the air.
“Turn from your dark ways, you have no chance of defeating me, for I am the greatest Magikarp to ever!”
With that the fish flopped onto its side and began to splash on the spot before the earth erupted in violent show of force as the Magikarp leapt high into the air, vanishing into the sun as it soared towards the mountain.
The mare stared blankly at the now quiet clearing. A tree lay on its side, a crater several meters wide and two deep nearby. A defeated creature that sobbed quietly into the dirt.
Feeling sorry for the thing for having been completely defeated by a talking fish on land, she sat next to it and began to gently pat its firm back.
The Machoke eventually sat up and fearfully pointed a shaking finger at her saddle bag. She glanced at it to see the corner of a blanket she found on her walk, hung out of the flap.
She took the blanket from her bag then held it to the biped whom hesitantly took it from her and held it close as though it was something invaluable. It took a moment for it to sink in but she then realised that she had accidentally stolen his precious object.
She whimpered slightly before she pulled the shaking and still sobbing Machoke into a hug.
“I'm sorry, but let me make it up to you.” She said as she continued to stroke its head and back. “You can get washed in a warm bath and eat good food, I'll take good care of you.”
It took a moment before the Machoke eventually nodded its head. The two got up and she led the biped towards her home. She took a glance at its dirty, sweaty body as its large, firm muscles shifted under its skin.
'I'll take goo~d care of you.' She thought as she bit her lower lip.
The Magikarp found himself in a predicament. While he jumped high enough to clear the mountain, he neglected to take into account just how far away it was. Now he found himself falling towards the castle structure built on the side of said mountain.
As he continued to fall he took notice of a small pond in the garden he was falling towards. With a smile he predicted that he would safely land in the water.
Princess Luna, the Alicorn of the night, an equine that bore wings and a horn capable of magic. A coat of night blue and an ethereal mane the shone like the night sky, stars and all. She was, as her image suggest, suppose to be in bed this time of day. However, she felt the desire to wander the castle gardens as she contemplated the presence of the large number of Pokemon that had, until some time ago, never existed on their world.
She was brought out of her thoughts by a rather loud bang and a forced of air as something impacted near her.
She turned her head to the pond to see a red fish lying on what was once a solid piece of marble now split in two.
At first she feared the creature was no more, then curiosity joined the fray as she wondered just where such a creature could possible come from, and to fall at a height great enough to split marble when said rock sat in the castle garden high above ground level.
A moan made her jump and give a small scream. The strange fish was alive.
“Hello?” She asked hesitantly.
The fish snapped open its eye to simply stared at her for a few quiet yet tense moments.
“Good day weird thing!” Luna rose a brow. “Would you be so kind as to push me into the water?”
Uncertain how she should respond she instead walked up to the creature and promptly gave it a small kick that moved it a foot across the ground and into the pond.
She watched as it sank to the bottom, it's body twitched from time to time but it refused to move from where it lay as she continued to watch it.
Eventually, she shook her head and looked up to see the sun begin to set in the distance. Still confused and now annoyed as she realised she had stood there for three hours, she walked away from the pond with a vow to speak to the strange red fish some other time.
