Chapters Chapter 1- The Start
Hello, the names Mythic Goreen. I am what you might say lucky, but I say coincidence is what happened. I know you don't understand what I am talking about so here is what I am going to say. I am one human who got powers and went to Equestria with nothing but my clothes and some weird staff, which somehow was next to me, but you might want to know how I got here in the first place. I was 18 years old 3 weeks before college, so I had some neat items ready, And it was June 9th, which is my birthday.
The story goes like this...
I was sitting at my wooden desk on my old Gateway Laptop, since the new laptop I bought hasn't came yet. The game I hooped onto was Maplestory, which is the only game that doesn't lag like hell.
I hear a doorbell at my frontdoor, which I jumped out of the chair and walked to the door. But I saw no one but a bow on the ground. It was a gray box with black ribbons, so I picked up the box and placed it next to my laptop. I then started searching for my pocket knife to cut the box open.
Turns out the knife was next to my laptop on the other side so I cut the ribbon and tape and toke off the wrapping. I opened up the box that held the gift and all I found was a odd multi-colored marble that had yellow, white, red, green, and blue in it. And next to the marble was a blank peice of stone with a note.
I grabbed the stone and set it down. I was confused at this since, well why in the world would you get a flat peice of stone in a present. I set my palm on the stone and my hand burned for a second so I moved my hand and found a runic binding circle connected to four other element runes. When I was on my phone, it would be a guess to assume it was fire, water, air, and earth.
So I set it aside and picked up the marble. As soon as I touched the marble, It went into my hand. A moved my hand away and shouted, "I WONDER WHO IN THIER RIGHT MINDS SEND THIS PAINFUL STUFF!" When saying those words my hand felt like it was on fire. So I went to a sink and washed my hands to make sure it wasn't overheating.
I started to get dizzy and I fell to the ground in deep pain. I didn't try to be awake and I went into a dark void.
It was cold, And dark. I got up and found myself still looking the same. As soon as I lifted my head up, I see a woman about 5'9 with gray hair and bright white eyes. She was wearing a gray dress with white undershirt sticking out.
"Hello Mythic. We are glad to finnaly meet a new person." She said in a calm voice which would in turn freak me out but when she said we I went pale.
"That is right, but we are here to make a proposition for you and not do whatever you thought." I turned and see a man with brown hair and had a Athletic muscles. He wore some gray and green armor which made me more scared as to what would happen.
"WOULD you just not BE so scared nitwit." I hear another man say next to me in a frustrated voice. When I saw him he had orange hair and had a leather armor with a red cape blowing behind him. His eyes freaked me out since they were just like a coal.
"Incendia, don't be angry with him. He is just his normal human self. He isn't like you." I turned around and to see a woman with a light blue hair running down past her shoulders and she was wearing a dress that waved just like pond water. But her eyes had no pupils, and it was just blue.
"Wait a moment! What are you all saying! I don't know what you want, but I don't have it!" I shouted. I was never into being dragged from my home, ending up in a black void, and seeing four mysterious people.
"Well, as what I was saying, we wanted to ask you if you want to help the magical land of Equestria. So what is your answer on this?" The man with the brown hair said.
"First, give me your names since you already know mine. Second, why did I get asked this question?" I responded since being a really careful person is required in this situation.
"Well I am Humus. The first spirit of Earth." The man with the brown hair said.
"I am Aqua. The first spirit of water." The woman with the blue hair said.
"I am Ventus, the first spirit of air as you might have guessed." The woman with the gray hair said.
"As you know my name from Aqua, I will tell you again. I am Incendia, the first spirit of fire." The Hot-tempered, angry person said.
"Alright, now that the names are in order, we chose you because you are special, and you family is already there."
I kept quiet for a sec and then said, "So basically, you choosed me because my family is there and I have a special gift." They nodded. "So you want to know my answer right?" They nodded again. "It is a yes you cruel people. You could have sent an e-mail and not drag me here you know."
I then was set on fire. I didn't notice at first, but when an entire cloud was above my head, I smelled smoke. As soon as I did, I was drenched by the cloud. Everyone one of us looked towards Incendia.
"What, he asked for it."
"Yeah, stop that old trick. Now when am I going to leave the void and end up in Equestria?"
"Now." As soon as he said that, I was pushed back by wind and into some portal I didn't see before.

Chapter 2- First Contact, AND Not an Alien
I was in a tree, somewhere in a dark and creepy forest. But to me, I only saw a woodpecker peaking at my head. I shooed it away and jumped off the branch I was on. I didn't land very well, so I hit my head on another branch and hit a rock.
"Always. Do I always have this bad luck." I said getting up. I looked at the ground and found that weird staff from the present sent to me. I picked it up and spun it in my hand. I thought it would be great to have this as a revolver to make sure to keep whatever in this forest away.
I didn't expect it to change into the revolver however. It was light and everything. I thought it might not be wise to have a gun in the forest at this moment so I made it a fedora. So I put the fedora on, which was black, and started walking.
After 3 minutes I heard growling from a bush and I looked over to see yellow eyes staring at me. Thre wolves jumped out of the bush and I made the fedora back into a staff to have training in the way of the staff. The middle wolf that seemed to be bigger than the rest leaped at me, so I stuck the end of my staff in his mouth and threw him into a tree. The wolf somehow caught fire when it hit the tree and it burned to a crisp. The other wolves moved around me in a circle, so I prepared to counter what ever attack they throw at me. They both jumped at me so I spn with the staff hitting both of the wolves faces, which still made the wolves catch fire.
"So this staff makes whatever I attack catch fire." I asked to no one in particular.
That is my damn Enchantment to the staff Idiot! Be Grateful I did that!< I heard Incendias voice in my head say.
-Careful Incendia. We don't want him to angry at us and no longer trust us.-I sighed and started to ignore the argument after Aqua talked.
I started to walk out of the forest but I heard what sounds like hooves coming so I looked for a place to hide. All I saw were trees and bushes. So I jumped onto a tree branch and waited to see what was coming. But I didn't expect a Yellow pegasus with a pink mane with three butterflies on her behind. So I waited and watched the pegasus. That is until the same woodpecker from earlier pecked at my head and I fell out of the tree into a bush that was on a slope right infront of the pegasus.
The last thing I heard before blacking out was a epp and the pegasus speeding to me to help.
I woke up in a nice looking cottage interior. And how I know it was a cottage, I know it is.
*No you don't Mythic. We told you while you were in your comatose state.* Humus said.
Alright and I saw a hummingbirds, squirrels and many others I couldn't name right off the bat. I started to get up from the bed I was in and I felt my right side in pain. I continued since this was a very normal pain but I still groaned which got the same yellow pegasus from earlier, to come to me.
"Are you alright, if you don't mind me asking?" I heard her and barely near the end and I see a purple unicorn walk in.
The purple unicorn had a dark purple mane with some lighter purple streaks on a part of her mane. Her eyes were violet and I heard her say, "Fluttershy, what is that?" The pony sounds like a female and she was pointing at me.
I decided to keep quiet and then 'Fluttershy' talked again, "I don't know Twilight." I landed back down on the bed after Twilight and I was stared at for a second and she continued, "I saw him when I was walking to check on the frogs at Froggy Bottom Bog. It feel out of a tree and rolled infront of me."
"I don't like that woodpecker." I mumbled which none of the mares noticed.
"So it was in a tree and it fell. How?" Twilight asked.
"It was a woodpecker which doesn't like me." I said and shut my mouth fast as I can and the mares looked straight at me with shocked faces.
"You can talk, how can you speak Equestrian?" Twilight asked while Fluttershy backed up a bit.
"Where I come from.... It is normal to talk like this in English...." I said keeping an eye on Fluttershy sad a bit from what I made her do by talking.
"How did you end up in the Everfree forest though... if you don't mind me asking." Fluttershy asked timidly behind Twilight.
"Let's see, Magic would be best suited to say. And let me tell you this, don't end up infront of a pack of three wooden wolves unless you had a staff or another weapon." I said causually which made Fluttershy more scared and I face-palmed noticing what I said. "I didn't want to them, but my enchanted staff made them catch fire." It didn't help at all.
"You defeated three timberwolves with a enchanted staff. How did you even get that staffin the first place?" Twilight asked.
"I would say a gift but I need to ask Fluttershy one thing. Have you seen my hat?"
Fluttershy pointed to my black fedora on the door and I managed to practice some wind magic which made a wind blow the hat off the door and into my hand.
"How did you do that!?" Twilight sked quite loudly.
"Ummm... magic? Well this is the enchanted staff" I motioned my hat and made it change into my staff. "It can change into whatever I think it to be, as far as I know." I shifted it back to my hat and placed it on the bed-side table.
"Can I study the staff? And what are you?"
"Alright and I am a human." I said getting up.
/Mythic, You need to transform into a pony and get used to the land of Equestria.\ Ventus said.
*And go to school since it would help you faster as well.* Humus said.
And not long after I somehow changed into a pony form and I hit the ground and I couldn't see straight and I saw black in the corner of my eyes and I passed out again.
Chapter 3-
I woke up again from being knocked out, which I believe I will soon have a head concussion and die from, to be back in the bed. I lifted my hand to my face and rubbed my eyes but it was harder than a hand and felt like a stump. I opened my eyes to see it as a gray hoof and tried to process why I am seeing this. I remembered that the 4 spirits were going to change my body to look more like the inhabitants.
I got back out of bed and stood on all fours and I started to trot to the door somehow walking without falling. I opened the door with a hoof and walked to the hallway. That is when A carrot hit my head and a white bunny staring at me.
"Hello there." I might look crazy on Earth talking to a bunny but here, who cares.
The bunny gave me a stare that could rival a hawk saying 'I am warning you.' I walked past the bunny but it jumped on my head and started to pat down on it with it's foot. Luckily the pain feels like a minor headache so I ignore it. How I am used to this pain you ask, look up Ulcerative Colitis, with the ulcers bleeding causes a lot of pain jesh.
I got down the stairs to see Fluttershy taking care of a yellow Amakihi, that is a Hawaiian bird that is fairly common except on one island. She was feeding the bird a akaha (Hawaiian Raspberry to be correct) and the bird was eating it. I watched Fluttershy and It seemed like we are the same height and I saw a mirror in a corner so I walked up to it. I saw myself as a gray earth pony with a black and gray mane. My eyes were a regular blue and the only thing that isn't a part of gray-scale colors.
I walked back to Fluttershy and asked, "Hey Fluttershy, Need help with anything?" I saw her what I believe is food
"I am fine but would you like to come with me to the Picnic today, if you don't mind me asking?" I hear her say.
"It is alright but are you sure you don't want help?" She shakes her head and finishes.
There were 4 ponies that I didn't know were there, one was cyan with a rainbow mane and tail with reddish eyes pegasus, another was orange with a blonde mane and tail with red bands, and has a cowboy hat on her head. Next was a pink pony with poofy mane and tail with blue eyes. The Last one was a white unicorn with a rich fashion purple mane and tail with a yellow hat.
I was asked different questions like 'Are you a spy?' and 'Whats yer name sugercube?' I gave the name Mythical Elemental since I had nothing else in my head.
After some small talk a purple and green dragon that reminds me of Spyro comes up. "Twilight!" The dragon shouted, running toward them. "I have... hold on!" Spike rested his hands on his knees and burped. Out came a letter.
I looked at the letter and back at the dragon and back to the letter going 'What just happened.' I then Heard Twilight reading the letter, "Dear Twilight, I'm sure are as excited as I am for the upcoming wedding in Canterlot. Wedding? I will be presiding over the ceremony, but would lie if you and your friends would help with the preparations for this wonderful occasion. Fluttershy, I would you and your songbird choir to provide the music. Pinkie Pie, I can think of no one more qualified than you to host the reception. Apple Jack, you will be in charge of the catering for the reception. Rainbow Dash, I would very much appreciate it if you perform a Sonic Rainboom as the bride and groom complete their 'I-Do's'. Rarity, you will be in charge of designing the outfits for the bride and brides-maids. As for you, Twilight, you will be playing the most important role of all, making sure all goes as planned. Taro, you shall be watching over the event. I look forward to seeing you all very soon. Yours truly, Princess Celestia."
"You have connections to a Princess, nice Twilight." I said which had eyes on me for a second and back to Twilight who was looking at the letter.
Twilight said looking at the letter all over, "But I don't understand, who's getting married?"
The dragon talked back again saying, "Oh, right, I was probably supposed to give you this one first." The dragon handed over another rolled up scroll from behind his back.
Twilight read it aloud and it read, "Princess Celestia cordially invites you to the wedding of Princess Miamore Cadenza and," Twilight gasped, "my brother?"
I stared at her and said, You have a brother and he is marring another princess. You are one family with high connections." That caused more gazes at me, and the only one that didn't look at me was Twilight. "You alright Twilight? You must be happy from the news."
"Yeah, great news from an INVITATION! Not from my brother, but from a piece of paper! Thanks a lot, Shining Armor. He couldn't tell me personally? And who's Princess Miamore Cadenza anyway?" Twilight said which made me flinch.
"Um... Twilight, are you okay?" Fluttershy asked sheepishly.
"Sorry, it's just, Shining Armor and I have just been so close. Before I came to PonyVille to study the importance of friendship, Shining was the only one I counted as a friend." I started to hear some music but I didn't move but looked at Twilight closely. As soon as she started I ran away as fast as I can since Musical Numbers weren't very happy for me.
After some minutes I came back and I said when everypony was staring at me, "Sorry to run off, but I have huge problems with Musical Numbers." They focused back on Twilight.
"As one of your friends, I'd say this brother of yours sounds like a really special guy," Apple Jack complimented.
"He is. They don't let just anypony be captain of the Royal guard."
Rarity's ears perked up. "Let me get this straight: We're helping out with the wedding of not just a princess, but the captain of the ROYAL GAURD!" she asked with a wide grin.
"Yeah, I guess we are," Twilight shrugged.
Without another word, she fainted.
"So let me get this straight, your brother is marrying a princess, and he is a captain of the guard. Can this get any more better?" I asked to every pony here.
"We will be leaving off tomorrow since that is when the train would be likely to leave earliest." Twilight said.
A/N I have the story take place before the wedding since it would be a lot better to write it there instead of way farther. And Hope it is better and ignore comments posted way back.
Chapter 4- The Wedding Part 1
I woke up at 5 something in the morning. I knew since the sun wasn't up and I walked softly down the stairs to not wake Fluttershy up up. When I reached the bottom step, There she was feeding her bunny, Angel.
I walked quietly to her and said, "Hey Fluttershy I am going to the station to get the tickets for everypony, is that alright?"
"It would be alright Mythic. I can give the bits to you, if you want of course." She responded in her quiet and timid voice.
"It would be alright. I managed to find a way to earn a lot in a short amount of time and I am only using it just for the tickets." I responded back walking to the door hoping to avoid the next question that might come.
"What do you mean? if you don't mind." I turned my head and smile since Angel was on her head patting his paw at her head saying 'I am Waiting.'
"Magic," I continued, "Nothing more and nothing less other than magic. And sorry if it is cryptic but I can't make up a long explanation."
I walked out and went to what I believe is the station outside of town closest to Canterlot. As soon as I got there I focused on making the bits using the earth to compress and change into a golden bit. It instead ended up being a bag full of them which I believe was Humus's magic.
I got to the clerk and purchased 8 tickets to Canterlot in 3 hours, which was the earliest they will go at that time. I waited for the others at the gate.
I see Twilight with the dragon on her back who was asleep. I waved and she came up and then I see Pinkie out of the corner of my eye pop out of a saddle-bag. I said, "Hey Twilight, Hey Pinkie Pie. How is the morning for you girls?"
It was quiet from Pinkie which made me wonder what did I say to cause this disaster. I figured if Pinkie would e an energetic pony but she was quiet which I believe she is planning something. Twilight said, "I had to get Spike out of bed but he went back to sleep." She had a little look of frustration and also the bit of sadness yesterday.
I see the rest come up and I passed out the tickets I bought. And we jumped onto the train. I walked to the back but was interrupted by Twilight.
"Where you going Mythic?" She said puzzled since I was going away from the cabin.
"The back of the train where I should be. I just need to be outside and watch the scenery" I responded and walked out to the back.
After some minutes I am at the back and I sat at the rail. The train went off and I watch the trees and hills. The river I saw and a large cloud city in the sky. I know we are heading to the large castle. But I talked to the spirits first.
'Hey, is it possible to see the world through air? And can I shapeshift by my own will instead of yours?' I asked through my mind.
/It is possible to see through the air but you must let your mind focus on the wind, and you must close your eyes to make it work.\ Ventus responded
*You can change using your own magic yes.* Humus responded to my second question.
'Okay, Mahalo.' I thanked.
I started to do what Ventus said but as soon as I focused and closed my eyes I saw the entire train and I moved it into the cabin where the girls are. I see twilight talking about her brother. I move the focus away and go to the forest and what I saw surprised me. I saw a blackish bug-pony with blue eyes. I knew the creature from my sister's drawing book, a changeling and judging by no armor most likely a drone or light-weight fighter. I look further and saw even more. I counted, 1,045 changelings ready to charge the castle waiting.
I refocused to the castle and saw a purple bubble around it. I guessed that they one on the inside taking the shield down. I was going in closer but the shield kept me out. So I shut it off and went into the cabin where Twilight is.
"Hey Twilight, what is the purplish bubble around Canterlot?"
"Purplish bubble?" She walks to the window and sees the bubble. "I believe that is a shield to block out any intruders who come in or out."
"No wonder I couldn't get through..." I mumbled.
I walked back to the railing I was at and the we went in the shield. As we reach the station Twilight went to the castle. I followed with the rest of the girls.
I was walking to the church where the wedding is going to be held and I see Shining Armor. I trotted up to him and asked him, "Hey, do you know there is an entire army of changelings waiting outside the shield?"
He focused to me and answered, "Yes, they are the ones who plan on attacking."
I nodded but I said back, "I know what they are planning. One of the changelings must be inside the shield before it went up." I see him furrow his face so I continue, "They have a changeling inside to take down the shield or its power source which is you. If you lose the energy to power it, the changelings burst in. Who is close enough to get to you?"
"That would be my bride and Twilight." He responded.
"Alright tanks and I check on it later also to make sure the Changeling is found." I walked out without another word and the rehearsal Wedding toke place. I heard something when Twilight rushes in not long after. I went in and saw Cadence galloping away crying but Twilight was saying Evil a lot.
When everypony went out I came in and so did Cadence. I said when staring at the bride. "Hello Changeling, anything new?" I came when she was right in front of Twilight.
"You figured out as well? Well you two will not be heard of again for awhile." She sent us down through the floors and we are in a crystal cavern.
"Twilight you alright?" I asked to her which she was not happy so I backed up.
Rewriting chapters Notice
This is what the name suggests. I am rewriting the story so it would not seem like I am ripping people off. So I hope it would be alot better than what it is now. And hope the rewrites are btter than what I have here. I will still have the characters in place, so nothing will be out. That is all.
