Meeting the Ponies
After Princess Celestia and Princess Luna order Link to go find the mysterious mare, Link goes out to Ponyville to meet some residents. On the way, he finds 3 fillies with ski gear on. "We are totally getting out cutie marks in skiing!" said the orange Pegasus. Hmmmm, cutie marks? What are those? Must be something that ponies have. I wonder if Epona has one of those. He walked over to them. "Hi kids! I heard you were talking about something called a, cutie mark? I was wondering if you could explain it to me." Link asked. The three fillies looked surprised. "You don't know what a cutie mark is?! But you have one on your flank!" the white unicorn said. Link looked on his flank and he saw a triforce. "Cool! Is that a triforce?! That's the second strongest thing right next to the elements of harmony, but nobody uses them because they've never been found! That's so amazing!" said the unicorn. "By the way, my name is Scootaloo and these are my friends Abblebloom and Sweetie Belle. We are the cutie mark crusaders!" Scootaloo said "See ya later!" They walked off. Link arrived at Ponyville. He looked around and saw a beautiful white mare similar to the one he just met. He ran towards her, mistaking her for Princess Zelda. "Zelda, Zelda! I'm over here!" he cried out. She looked at the stallion and stopped him using her magic. "What are you doing?! Your going to fall and ruin your clothes! My name is Rarity.". Link blushed and told her his name. "Link, why that's a fine name! Why where you yelling Princess Zelda at me?" When Link was about to say something he got interrupted by a pink mare. "Is that a person you know? Or is it not a person? Or is it a toy? Or, or it's nothing? Or, or, or." The mare kept talking. "Pinkie Pie, stop it. This stallion is new to Ponyville! Make him feel welcome, not annoyed." Rarity told Pinkie Pie. "Well I have to go. It was nice meeting you!" Link left and found a farm. He saw to pony racing and one of them kicked him in the face! "OWWW!" Link screamed in pain. "Oh no... I think I hurt him. Ya know, cause I buck trees evray single day?" The orange mare talked in a southern accent. "Nah. I think he's fine. He probably was just faking it. C'mon, lets go finish our race. I'm totally gonna beat you!". "Hello! Just got kicked by a horse! Need a little help!"
Link had to adjust to pony culture sooner or later.
