It's a nice warm day in Ponyville Equestria. Within Ponyville there is a school, and in that school is three young fillies, unknowing about the oncoming adventure they will soon have.
The school bell rings, and everyone takes their seats. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle look on the board at the agenda. It reads:
Attendance
New Students!
Math
Language Arts-
Wait a minute, new students?
"Good morning, everypony!" said the teacher, Ms. Cheerilee.
"Good morning Ms. Cheerilee!" the students replied.
"I will now be taking attendance! Dinky?"
"Here!"
"Diamond Tiara?"
"Present!"
Ms. Cheerilee continued with attendance until she got to the last pony. "Crystal Hooves?"
"Right here!"
"Now onto our next order of business." she pointed to the writing on the board that said 'New Students!' "As you can see, we have three new students arriving in our class tomorrow. They can't be here today because they are still unpacking there bags at their homes. All three of them are best friends from Manehattan." Ms. Cheerilee explained.
"What are they like?" asked Silver Spoon.
"Well, all I really know about them is that one is a unicorn, one is a pegasus, and one is an earth pony. Their names are Riptide, Lucky, and Frostbite." the teacher replied.
"That's all?" Diamond Tiara said.
"Oh, they also don't have their cutie marks yet!" she finished. The CMC's eyes widened.
"Guys, did you hear that? They don't have their cutie marks yet!" Scootaloo whispered to her friends.
"I know! Do you think we should ask them if they want to be in the Cutie Mark Crsaders?" Applebloom asked.
"Of course! That would be amazing! Three young mares on our team!" Sweetie Belle added. They then went the rest of school daydreaming about the adventures they would have with their future best friends.
BBRRRRIIIIIIINNNGGGG!!!
School was now out. Everypony poured out of the school faster than Ms. Cheerilee could say schools out.
"Alright, guys, let's get ready for our next Cutie Mark Crusade," said Applebloom.
"Cutie Mark Crusaders, Bakers!" all three shouted at the same time, jumping in the air.
"Let's get to Sugar Cube Corner fast!" Scootaloo said.
"I need to get my computer first! I left it at the clubhouse." Sweetie Belle said.
"Fine, we'll stop by the clubhouse. Get on my scooter!" said Scootaloo.
On their way to the clubhouse, they heard something whooshing towards them.
"DUDE SLOW IT DOWN!" said a young male voice. They turned their heads to see a blue, white, and green blur moving towards them at high speeds.
CRASH!!!
"Owww..." said another male voice. The crusaders started moaning as well. Three colts stood up and quickly helped up the fillies. "Oh my god, are you guys okay?!"
The Crusaders' eyes started adjusting, and picking them up onto their hooves were three colts that they didn't recognize. "What... Who are you guys?" Sweetie Belle said wearily.
"Oh, I'm Frostbite!" said the young unicorn in front of her. He had a pure white coat and a long, spiky, sky blue mane and tail. He had the most adorable orange eyes - or, at least to her they were.
"I'm Riptide!" said the ocean blue pegasus in front of Scootaloo. His mane and tail looked like the waves in the ocean, and his eyes were a deep, dark purple.
Applebloom looked at the colt in front of her. "And I'm Lucky!" he said.
"Yes I am..." Applebloom said, blushing heavily. The colt was dark gray, and he had leafy green hair and wore an orange beanie on his head. He had bright yellow eyes that Applebloom stared into, daydreaming.
"I'm sorry, what?" he said.
"Um, nothing!" Applebloom quickly replied. All three of the girls had a weird feeling in their stomach, and their chests. It was a feeling of nervousness, excitement, confusion, and disbelief. For they were their age. One was a unicorn, one was a pegasus, and one was an earth pony. And the most noticeable clue of all, they didn't have cutie marks.
