Chapters Rainbow grinned to herself. Today was the day.
The prismatic pegasus flew silently above the deserted streets of early-morning Ponyville. It was perfect. First, she overhears Twilight dictating notes about her species-change potions, and then no more than two days later both Twilight and Spike go away to Canterlot on official business? How could things have been better? Now, Rainbow Dash would finally know what it was like to be a griffon!
Twilight should really have known better than to convert that spell into a potion in the first place , considered Dash as she approached the library. And she really should have fixed the window that doesn’t lock.
The blue pony finally reached the window in question and tugged hard upward. With a small jerk and the sound of scraping wood, she was in. Now to get to the basement and find the right potion! Rainbow grinned again. Another mistake, Sparkle , she thought. Letting other people into your private lab. And labelling everything so… nerdily.
And everything WAS labelled. As soon as Dash reached the bottom of the stairs and switched the lights on, she saw the box. “Species Altering Elixirs”, in neat hornwriting. Typical. The pegasus trotted over and started taking bottles out at random.
Breezie, donkey, earth pony… aha! Rainbow had been afraid that griffon wasn’t even one of the potions that Twilight had made, but sure enough, here it was. Dash triumphantly took it in her hooves, and, with a burst of wingpower, flew back up the stairs. As she left the library through the open window, a pile of notes which had been on the desk in the lab settled after their disturbance by Rainbow’s quick exit. The most recently dated paper lay forgotten on the floor. Had Rainbow been there to read it, she would have seen:
...but,needless to say, the potions have not been tested on any pony or other sentient creature. It’s difficult to predict, but my assumption is that only about a mouthful of potion would be needed for the transformation to take place, due to the concentration of the magic in a solution designed to hold enchantment so efficiently. The results of drinking more (or less) are completely unknown, though in the latter case it can be reasonably assumed to have no effect. In the former case, the potion’s strength would certainly cause something more drastic to occur, though the nature of said effect is impossible to predict. My next test will…
But, of course, she was not. So she didn’t.

Shaking with excitement, Rainbow Dash took the stopper off of the glass container. Safely in her home, and just in time for sunrise. Time to give this baby a try!
Not wishing to delay any longer, the pegasus (though not for much longer) threw back her head and gulped down every last drop of the potion. She noted that it didn’t really taste like anything, even though she had at least four or five large gulps to discern any flavour in the liquid. Rainbow waited excitedly for something to happen.
Sure enough, only a few seconds passed before Dash was lifted off her hooves in a burst of blue light. She closed her eyes as he body shifted weirdly, and then… she landed on the cloud floor.
Opening her eyes, Rainbow tentatively lifted a foreleg… and sure enough, there was no longer a cyan hoof on the end of it. Rather, a yellow bird’s leg ended in a set of wicked talons. Looking back, she saw her neck and back covered in white feathers, until they ended and gave way to short fur of her regular colour. Her wings were much bigger, but otherwise looked more or less the same. The big difference was her tail; no longer a pony’s tail, but rather a long, waving lion’s tail ending in a tuft of her signature rainbow hair.
Turning her attention to her head, she noted how different her face felt. Rather than a herbivore’s muzzle and flat teeth, she felt a strong, hard beak with a sharp tip. It felt weird, but cool in a way Rainbow could only really think of as powerful. The same went for her talons, which she flexed as she stretched out her new body. Her back paws unsheathed sharp claws as she tested her extremities.
Oh, man, this is AMAZING! I have to know what I look like . She rushed to her upstairs full-body mirror, noting that her body felt STRONGER as well. The lion’s side of her was full of muscle, and her wings were made to lift a heavier form. It felt incredible. As the former pegasus admired herself in the mirror, she noticed another feeling. One that was all too familiar, and spread from her loins to a hot feeling in her chest.
Rainbow the griffon smiled. Why not? Might as well celebrate my new body, right? Rainbow felt so good, she was sure she wanted to keep this new form forever. For now, though, she mainly felt the need to give her moistening vagina the attention it needed.
Dash hopped onto her bed and laid on her back. Looking at her wicked sharp talons, she briefly worried that it would be dangerous to do this. Rainbow couldn’t register what was happening, but she knew it felt good. Heat had spread all throughout her body and was making her feel more aroused than ever before. Finally, her neck bulged and stretched, and her entire head grew as Rainbow climaxed, spurting juices all over the bed and making her body feel like it was on fire. Standing up, Dash looked at her surroundings, dumbfounded at the slight but very noticeable change in their relative size. Sure enough, by her guess, she was significantly bigger. She had gained a fair few inches with the original transformation, of course, but now she was taller than Big Mac. Maybe even as tall as Princess Celestia!

Though the ravenous hunger kept most of her attention, Rainbow noted how amazing it felt to fly with her new body. Huge wingstrokes, a tail that she could feel swishing in the wind, and her keener eyes all made her feel even more powerful. Dash felt her ego grow. They were so LITTLE now. So… tasty-looking. The former pegasus barely noticed anything wrong with the thought. She was the predator. A big one. Queen of griffons. But there was probably ready-to-eat meat inside the tavern, so she walked up to the door and shoved it open, almost knocking it off the frame with her new strength. It was closed this time of day, but the lock smashing barely made a difference. A startled griffon stared at her smirking from behind the bar.
Ignoring his shouts entirely, Rainbow strode towards where she knew the kitchens to be. Squeezing through the door, she spotted a door that could only be a walk-in fridge. Her hunger taking over, she shot towards it, knocking it open and darting inside. She could SMELL it. And sure enough, there were drawers all across one wall, all with carefully wrapped steaks and chops. Her mouth watered.
Rainbow’s hunger was screaming at her now. She didn’t care about cooking. She just needed it inside her. So she used her talons, the size of a pony’s head, to rend a row of shelves apart. She barely registered anything after that. The griffons must have just got a big order of meat, because there was enough to feed a family of four for more than a month. But Rainbow didn’t even think about it. She was a big creature, and her hunger was fierce.
As more and more food disappeared into the rainbow griffon’s beak, her belly distended more and more. Soon, she just lay on the floor, pulling it towards her as her stomach grew rounder and rounder. She wasn’t thinking at all any more, just eating.
Finally, it was all gone. Burping hugely, the griffon stood up, and finally started to come to her senses. Rainbow had eaten a LOT. She was as big as Celestia, but that was a ridiculous amount of food- her gut hung low and she felt sluggish. How did I eat this much?? It’s not possible! I.. I feel…
In fact, Rainbow felt incredible. Being full was amazing. It was almost like heat was spreading through her- Uh oh.

But with what little rational thought she had, Dash realised she had to get out, fast. She started toward the door, and her right foreleg bulged and stretched. Dash moved faster, grunting with every step as parts of her body grew larger. She was at the bar now, but too big to fit through the door to freedom- not that it mattered. As her head expanded and her wings stretched and cracked, she closed her eyes and shoulder-barged the thin wooden wall to the outdoors. Sure enough, the enormous griffon had the strength to push through, and the small crowd which had gathered outside to the shouts of the tavern’s owner saw a terrifying sight- a hugely stuffed griffon, with mismatched appendages, bigger than Celestia, and moaning in the joy of growth, stumbling through the wall and into the street.
Rainbow was free now. She could let go. REVEL in her power. And as the griffon sprawled herself out on the ground, rubbing her enormous belly, she moaned louder and louder as the meat inside of her was used to fuel her growth. Her talons grew even larger, the claws glinting in the sun, and her back bulged hugely, jutting out her entire body. Her tail got even longer, writhing as the girth increased, and her beak snapped as it too grew to match. The griffon massaged her huge belly even more as her back legs bulged with muscle and exploded in length. She stretched them out as far as she could, screaming in delight, as she spread her growing toes and watched the deadly claws unsheath. Her wings stretched as they too were fully extended and her shoulder muscles bulged with power. Finally, the rest of the bulge in the stomach disappeared as the prismatic griffon laughed with ecstasy, enjoying a final growth spurt before settling down and panting with pleasure.
What remained of the crowd was dumbfounded. Many had fled at the sight of Rainbow Dash, but those who were too shocked to move simply stared as the griffon stood and took in her new size. She could easily look into the top window of the tavern now, more than twice the height that she had been before gorging herself. Celestia would have to crane her neck to see the smirking face. If Dash wanted to, she could pick up any one of the ponies in front of her in a single talon. In fact…
Faster than anypony could react, Rainbow darted forward and picked up a pony at random from the crowd in front of her. Octavia screamed as she was lifted into the air by the enormous talon and brought face to face with the former pegasus. Rainbow laughed at how helpless everypony else was now that she had surpassed “oversized” and become a giant. These tiny creatures were nothing but prey to the new Griffon Queen!
As the thought entered her head, Dash realised just how appropriate it was now. The potion had changed her body and her mind, and now these ponies were just… meat. And I’m starting to get hungry again… let’s see how you taste! And with a giggle, the gigantic griffon opened her beak as wide as it would go and shoved Octavia inside. The other ponies scattered in a shouting panic, but Dash knew it was pointless. She was no slower than before.
As Octavia panicked inside the huge beak, Rainbow realised that she probably didn’t even need to chew. Taking another few seconds to savour the helplessness of the pony on her tongue, she tilted back her head and began to swallow the huge mouthful that Octavia presented. It seemed her new body was plenty up to the challenge, though, as the squirming form was pulled deeper and deeper into the griffon’s throat. Finally Dash felt the pony settle in her stomach, still clearly alive by the kicks that she felt. It was filling, but not enough. And there were so many more ponies in the town…
The griffon grinned and began to walk in the direction of Town Square. It was time to catch some prey. And maybe the potion will make me even bigger! she thought with glee.

Not waiting any longer, Rainbow shoved a pony into her beak, sucking on it before swallowing it whole once again. Then the other went down. Then another, and another. She was about to take to the sky when Rainbow noticed something just on the edge of her vision. She jerked her head back, thinking something was hovering over her, but the thing moved with her. In fact, she felt like there was something there, sticking out of the middle of her forehead. She reached up with a talon, confused, and felt it. She gasped. It was unmistakable.
Dash had grown a unicorn’s horn.But that was impossible! Griffon’s didn’t have horns. And it certainly hadn’t been there before. It must have appeared during that last big grow! But how?I guess I ate a lot of unicorns , she thought. Maybe I absorbed their magic or something?
She laughed. Now no pony will be able to escape! She concentrated again, this time directing her attention at one of the nearby apple trees. Barely trying, she ripped it from the ground. Now this was power! She expanded her reach, and found that she could rip a whole bunch of trees from the ground at once, flinging them over the orchards with her new magic.
As good as it felt, her belly was starting to feel empty again, even with all the struggling ponies inside. Canterlot awaited.

Rainbow Dash landed in the middle of Canterlot’s main street, wings eclipsing the sun as ponies stared up at her, dumbfounded. The huge griffon barely fit in the street; her huge hips rubbed against the front of the buildings lining it. A pony stood gaping at a back paw which could easily crush a carriage flat.
Dash looked around, grinning. Her hunger could wait. For now, she wanted to revel in the power she had already. These buildings looked so small and flimsy now. She would show Canterlot what a giant like her could do!
Raising a talon, she ripped apart a nearby shopfront. Chunks of concrete went flying; ponies screamed and scattered, and the streets became chaos. The humongous griffon jumped up in the air with her wings, sending ponies flying to the ground from the downdraft, and landed heavily on top of a small cluster of buildings. She was still only twice the size of the Apple’s barn, but she felt no pain as she stamped on the buildings, crushing them into the ground in mere seconds. It was an amazing power trip- her size, her strength! Nothing could stop her! She could crush the city flat!
As Rainbow stomped over the city, stamping things flat with her paws and rending buildings apart with her talons, she enjoyed it more and more. This is pure power. I can destroy anything and anyone! she thought, loving the sight of ponies running away from the rampaging griffon as fast as they could. The power felt SO good… she was so strong… heat was starting to spread throughout her… she was growing again!
Sure enough, the more Rainbow Dash rampaged through the city, the bigger she was getting. Slowly but surely, and laughing all the while, the giant’s appendages pulsed in size one by one. Soon the griffon couldn’t fit in even the widest streets at all, and was forced to push through buildings everywhere she went, not that she minded. In fact, she did so with glee, stomping, smashing, GROWING as she flaunted her immense power. And her belly started to ache with need…
Dash looked at all the ponies running away as fast as they could. You can’t escape me, she thought with a grin. Her horn glowed, and a dozen of the nearest fleeing ponies were lifted, screaming, into the air. They were smaller than a single claw, now; she could grip five or more at once in a single talon. But it was easier to just use her magic, so Rainbow popped them into her mouth one by one, feeling them struggle as they went down her throat whole. She shivered with pleasure and moaned as she hit a small growth spurt, a back paw now filling half the street it was in. She was tall enough to go one-on-one with a full-grown dragon now. Maybe she’d even get big enough to eat one of those. The thought made her hungrier than ever. She needed to grow, she needed MORE, she needed to fill her belly!
The gigantic griffon walked through Canterlot, casually crushing buildings and swallowing ponies with her magic. Dash began to feel the energy inside her build. Three alicorns were no small matter, even as tiny as they had been compared to her. The magical energy was building up, and Dash’s body was absorbing it-
The heat rushed to her extremities once more-
Her claws grew, wicked and sharp, followed by her lion’s paws, and then her powerful hind legs as Dash moaned. Celestia seemed to realise what was happening, and thrashed in the inescapable womb as she fuelled Dash’s growth. Dash rubbed her captive lovingly, moaning as her growth reached new heights. before, a claw could crush a carriage. Now it could crush a house. As the princess was absorbed more and more, a claw could crush the city hall, and then even more… The castle was like a toy to the griffon, now; it was half her size. Then a third. Then even less…

The Griffon Queen reached down and ripped the castle from its mountain foundations in two talons, appraising it. Then she opened her beak impossibly wide and munched it down, enjoying the thought of consuming the largest building in the world. Truly, nothing could ever stop her now. Then she eyed the mountain itself as her growth slowed to a stop.
