“Lyra!” shouted the voice of Bonbon calling for her wife and co business owner Lyra heartstrings from within the couple’s kitchen. “Get your flank down here right this instance!”
“Coming!” yelled a sleepy Lyra coming downstairs. “Bonbon hon, it’s seven o’ clock in the morning. What do you ne-mph!” said Lyra because the second she entered the kitchen her soft lips were met by another set of even softer lips belonging to the mare she married.
After a few minutes of makining out that led to the living room, Bonbon gently sat Lyra down before speaking. “That’s what I needed sweetie.” she said breathing to catch her breath.
Still a little in shock of what happened Lyra was eventually able to calm her nerves and speak.
“Do tell me dear,” she said in a saucy tone causing Bonbon to blush. “Why the sudden lip smacking? Are you in heart,” Lyra said with a wink.
Bonbon just giggled at this before saying. “No sweetie don’t you know what today is.” she said her eyes gleaming with hope.
“Ummm, oh! Your new candy book arrived!” said Lyra feeling pride in remembering that.
“Nooo,” sung Bonbon leaning in close.
“Is it our double date night with the cakes?” said Lyra leaning down so her wife could be on top.
“No,” said Bonbon a little worried.
“Then I got nothing.” said Lyra shattering Bonbon’s heart. “Now lets get a busy-omph!” shouted Lyra when she felt a pillow hit her, taking it off she said. “Bonbon what did you do that for? I was just about to do that thing you li-” she stopped when she heard the sound of Bonbon crying while galloping upstairs. “Oh boy.”
Heading upstairs Lyra carefully thought about what was today. IS IT HER BIRTHDAY? NAH THAT WAS LAST MONTH. Eventfully she walked to the last door in the hallway. Knocking on it she said “Bonbon honey? Are you okay?” Putting her ear to the door all Lyra heard was the sound of Bonbon sniffling which broke her heart. “Bonbon I’m coming in.” she said slowly opening the door to the sight of a disheveled and muzzle in pillow Bonbon.
“go away,” said a muffled Bonbon.
“I’m sorry baby I didn’t catch that, what did you say?” said Lyra her face right next to the tear stricken pillow with her mate’s face in it.
picking up her face drenched in tears Bonbon shouted “GO AWAY!” before collapsing on the bed again.
“Oh come on Bonny, tell ya what, we’ll get you cleaned up and then get back to where we were.” said Lyra with a wiggle of the brow.
Bonbon just looked up with a stare.
Next thing Lyra knew she was pushed outside of the room.
“Oh come on Bonny!” shouted Lyra to the door.
“Just go away,” said Bonbon with a whimper.
Giving up Lyra headed on down stairs and heading down to the kitchen. Once there Bonbon couldn’t believe her eyes. There were flowers, candies, and “other things” all around the room.
“What the-” said Lyra before the calendar on the wall caught her eye. “Oh buck,” with that she galloped at of the house to the nearest gift store for the calendar on the wall said “Our anniversary” with hearts around it.
I can’t believe I forgot about our anniversary!” screamed Lyra inside her mind. “How could I forget i t!” then thinking back on some memories she knew how she forgot
“Lyra you remember what's happening in two months or so right?” said Bonbon taking a bite out of her sandwich while Lyra laid on her lap.
“Yeah, yeah,” responded Lyra
“Good!” said Bonbon joyfully.
“I’ll take the black lingerie Bons,” dreamt Lyra.
“Lyra you remember what's happening in a month or so right? said Bonbon while gasping due to tiredness caused by Tirek stealing her magic.
“Yeah, yeah.” replied Lyra sucking on her hoof.
“Good, I’m gonna take a nap,” said Bonbon before collapsion.
“I’ll take point private Big mac,” dreamt Lyra of her video games.
“Lyra honey you remember what's happening in a week right?” asked Bonbon while they were having sex.
“Yeah, yeah!” said Lyra having a orgasm.
“Ok good,” said Bonbon.

“Watch out!” said a voice.
All of a sudden Lyra a runway cart going down hill with an earth pony stallion on top.
“Runaway cart!” screamed the stallion.
Quickly using her magic lyra was able to slow the cart down before it hit a nearby river.
Stepping down from the wagon the stallion spoke. “Oh thank you kind miss, thank you. If there is someway to repay I will do it.”
Lyra signed “unless you have the perfect gift for my wife then I’m afraid there isn’t much you can give me.”
The shopkeep chuckled at this. “My dear, you don’t seem to understand I am a traveling merchant of exotic and far away wares, what does your wife like?”
“Well she likes to make candy, I mean it’s her cutie mark,” said Lyra to the shopkeeper.
“Hmmm, candy huh?” asked the shopkeeper pondering.
“Yeah, she makes the best candy ever, so I would think a candy related exotic item should cheer her up.” said Lyra with a sigh.
“You know? I may just have the thing for you!”n shouted the shopkeeper causing Lyra to jump.
“I think I have just the thing you're looking for!” shouted the shop keeper before heading into his cart thru the back door.
After a few seconds of noises resembling that of moving things the shop keeper stepped back out with a piece of paper.
“What’s that?” asked Lyra pointing at the paper.
“This my dear is a map that leads to the legendary flavor crystals of flavor.” said the shopkeeper.
“What are they?” asked Lyra.
“Here I will write a description on the back.” said the shopkeeper writing. “And done! Here ya go.” said the shopkeeper handing the paper to Lyra. “Now then miss I must say goodbye.” he said before galloping away with his cart.
“Hmmm?” said Lyra looking at the paper. “Bonbon, I will find this for you!”
The map said to head to the mountains of Ponet, so after getting off a train in the small mountain village of grig Lyra asked the local citizens for directions to what was called the lake of crystal.
“So do you happen to know anything about a lake called the lake of crystal?” said Lyr to a griffin villager.
“Begone foul witchy mare,” hissed the griffon before flying off.
“Sheesh what a jerk,” said Lyra before being seeing a cloaked figure looking at her. “Hey you! Do you know where a lake of crystal is?” said Lyra.
The figure quickly dashed off out of sight.
“Well some much for that guy,” signed Lyra. “How am I ever gonna find that crystal flavor thing for Bo-huh?” said Lyra feeling a tug on her coat, looking down she saw before her a little girl griffen with gleaming eyes. “Umm, hi kid?”
“Hello, I heard you are looking for the lake of crystal, right?” said the griffin in a squeaky voice.
“Yeah...do you know about it!” said Lyra before calming down when the griffin flinched. “Sorry, so do you though?”
“Yes, I need it t-to-” said the griffin before starting to sob.
“Hey, come on kid. Don’t cry,” said Lyra before a thought popped up in her mind. “Say kid where are your parents?”
“That’s just it!” said the sniffling griffin. “They were kidnapped by Dr. Glass and I escaped since I heard that he was looking for it and I thought if I gave it to him he would let them go, but there is nothing at the lake!”
Realizing this was something bigger than she thought, Lyra decided to help the kid. “Don’t worry kid, tell you what I’ll help you get the crystal and we’ll rescue your parents kay?”
“O-okay,” whimpered the griffin. “By the way what’s your name?”
“Lyra, yours?”
“Bethany.”
So after leaving the village the two traveled down the mountain till they came upon the lake of crystals. Pulling out the candy cane, Lyr held it up to the sun and said the magi words.
“Chocolate,” she said before a temple came up from the ground. “Okay kid you stay here and I’ll be right back,” said Lyr before entering the temple.
“Okay,” said Bethany whimpering.
After a while of walking down corridors, Lyra came upon a pedestal with a bowl of crystal on them.
“I wonder what they taste like,” said Lyra picking them up before hearing the sound of a bobby trap setting off. “Buck me!”
Galloping outside from the sinking temple, Lyra made it just out before the temple sunk back to the lake.
“Bethany I got...it” said Lyra with a knife in her face being held by a familiar blue feathered griffin and a back of diamond dogs with one of them holding Bethany. “Who are you and what are you doing with Bethany!” shouted Lyra.
“Why my dear, my name is Dr. Glass and sweet little Bethany is just fulfilling her end of our bargain,” said Glass.
“Beatheny?” said Lyra in disbelief.
“I’m sorry Lyra but he said he would make my parents gone forever if I didn’t get you to open it,” said Bethany being muffled.
“Actually my dear I meant I would do it anyway, hahaha!” laughed Glass.
“Bethany!” shouted Lyra. “you jerk!”
“Well this has been fun Lyra but I’ll be taking thos cy-huh?” said Glass feeling a throat on his neck.
“I would surrender Glass,” said a familiar looking safari garb wearing pegasus mare with a bunch of . “But then again I guess I wouldn’t be able to do this,” said the mare before knocking out Glass. “You alright?” said the are helping Lyra and Bethany up.
“I’m fine, but I feel bad about lying to you Lyra,” said Bethany.
“Aww, don’t worry bout it,” said Lyra hugging Bethany. “By the way who are you?” she said to the mare.
“Umm, just you know a Daring Do fanatic who was helping this griffen, your parents our safe by the way I saved them before coming here, and making sure those crystals go someplace safe,” said the mare with a nervous grin.
“Oh, ok,” said Lyra. “Wait do you have take all the crystals their for my wife!”
“I’m sorry but the crystal are much too dangerous in the wrong hands,” said the mare.
“I-I understand,” said Lyra handing them over.
After making sure Bethany got home safely to her parents who thanked Lyra with a feast along with the mare, she left the next morning for Ponyville.
What am I gonna do? Thought Lyra limping her way home. Now how will Bon forgive me?
“Mrs. Lyra?” said a filly’s voice. Looking at the source, Lyra so Dinky looking at her with a worried expression.“Are you alright?”
“Yeah I’m fine kid just a little sad,” said Lyra with a sign.
“Would a hug help!” said a smiling Dinky.
“Nah kid I don-” before Lyra could finish she was hugged by a smiling Dinky.
“Hugs from my mommy make me feel better any day!” said Dinky.
“Thanks kid,” smiled Lyra before saying goodbye and heading inside to face her wife. “Bonbon? Are you in he-omph!” shouted Lyra being tackled by Bonbon.
“Where where you Lyra!? I was worried sick!” shouted Bonbon.
“Well you see I was getting this treasure for you because you were angry and-” said Lyra explaining what happened.
“Lyra sweetie! Are you telling me you risked your life to help a poor little baby griffin?” said Bonbon nuzzling her wife.
“Yeah...are you still mad at me?” said Lyra awaiting the worst.
“A little bit, but the Idea of you helping a child is overcoming that!” said Bonbon.
“Huh, remind me to save kids more often, by the way I did get you something from a gift shop before I left,” said Lyra getting out a necklace. “It says that if you wear it you will always be safe.”
“Aww, Lyra,” said Bonbon. “I’m always safe when you're around.”
