DashedOwl is the story of a small outpost sent one of the remaining bastions of civilization left in Equestria. The world has become corrupt, twisted into a shadow of what once was. DashedOwl is an attempt to return to it, to secure a foothold and rule over once more. DashedOwl is a more experimental type of fic for me; it's a series of both slice-of-life and adventure stories. In a world so overwhelmingly dark, it's of course got very few moments of actual happiness. It's not dark for the sake of being dark, it's not grim for shock value. It's an attempt at realism. How things would pan out, at least sometimes, with every character being ponies and all.

Although I'm not sure where DashedOwl will take me, I hope you can come along for the ride. And I hope you enjoy it.
