The Shiftling

  I was headed for my room, it was 10:20pm. I turned left, went down the hall, turned right took two steps, turned left, took 3 steps and froze. I jumped back, slammed the door, and stood against the wall opposite of it. 'what the hell was that?! A black thing with fangs... And bug-like wings? It can't be a?

  "Nah, couldn't be. It's just a TV show," I said, then I opened the door, just to see it again. "Hello? what are you? are you OK?" I asked, expecting no answer from the thing.

  "N-no... I'm starving," It said in a female Multi-voice, the same way Queen Chrysalis talks but a different voice.

  I blinked five voices. "What are you?"

  "A changeling."

'of course...' "My name is Jeffrey... But I prefer my pretend Changeling name Shifter," I said.

  "I'm Sage... A stray future queen. I somehow got transported here," she said, nearly crying.

  "You're not just lost and starving," I started, "You're adorable," I said trying to soothe her.

  "I- thank you..." she said, slightly blushing.

  "hey... I May be human, but I came up with this thing that will heal anything... It'll take a while though," I told her.

  "Give it to me... Please... I need it," She begged me for it. I pulled out a small black pill and put it in her mouth. She swallowed it after a few seconds.

  "Th-thank you," she said.

  "Your welcome," I replied, and hugged her.

  The next day, after I got home, I went to check on her. She could move her head to look around her now.

  "Hello, Sage," I said.

  "Hello," was all she said before resting her head again.

  "You're healing... That's good," I said to her.

  "Yes, I know," she said in response.

  "Do you need anything?"

  "You."

  "What?"

  "I need you... Please... Stay here."

  I was surprised. "Alright," I reponded.

  I took off my NASA clothes behind her, and put on normal clothes, and sat down next to her, and rested my hand on her neck.

  "How do you humans live?" she asked.

  "Similar to ponies, except there isn't much harmony here," laughed at the last part. She rubbed her head against me.

  "That sounds terrible. Once I'm fully healed, maybe we could both go back to Equestria?"

  I looked at her. "Sure... If it's possible."

  "Alright... Shifty," she giggled.

Great, she had a nick name for me, one that means she-. SHE LIKES ME?! Who knew?

  The next day, I came home to find her able to attempt to stand up, even though she couldn't.

  "Hey, don't hurt yourself," I said.

  "I won't," She replied, resting again.

'right, whatever' "Why are you trying to get up, anyway? Your obviously still too weak."

  "Because, I can't just lay here and do nothing..."

  "Don't worry, It's fine. You're fine. Alright?"

  "Fine."

  As several days went by, she improved more, first being able to stand without tiring, then walk slightly, but I didn't expect what was next to come...
