Not the Average Love Story

This wasn't a normal day for me. I was being transferred to a new school mid year. While mid year transfers are not unheard of for the school I was being sent to, it definitely was. I was being sent to the best school in all of Canterlot, no, Equestria. That's because it's run by Princess Celestia her self.

Now the reason it's so rare for a transfer here is that every pony in this school entered when they were 5 or 6 years old by passing a difficult entrance exam, not being put in by personal recommendation of the Princess her self when you are 14. I don't even want to go to this school, while I was in public some thing well amazing happened, I don't remember much of it but apparently Celestia had witnessed it and said I have a very rare magic potential and she doesn't want it to go to waste or evil. I didn't think much of what she had told me until I got a letter in the mail saying I have been accepted into her class if I wanted to go. I didn't truly want to but my parents are making me go.

I walked into the class on my first day and looked at the other ponies, they all looked back at me and one rather large stallion told me

"Get lost you shouldn't even be at this school, it's for unicorns."

I should have known something like this would happen, I'm not a unicorn, I'm a Pegasus who can apparently use magic. When I tried to tell them I was in the class they started to laugh at me, all accept for a purple mare sitting in the front of class reading a book. The laughing kids kept telling me to get lost and would push me when I tried to enter the class room. Finally Princess Celestia showed up and told them to stop and sit down. She then walked to the front of the class and said.

"Hello class, I am sure you have noticed we have a new student."

She then looked at me and asked for me to come up to the front of the class and introduce my self.

I walked up to the front of the class and said

" Hi my name's Star Runner."

One of the ponies in the back of the room called out

"How can he be in this class if he can't use magic!"

Princess Celestia looked at the boy and began to say

"Star here has a very rare ability that allows Non Pegisi or Alicorns to use magic, only about 25 have ponies ever been reported to have this ability."

"Does any one know why this ability is so special and important other than that it is very rare." Princess Celestia asked

The purple mare raised her hoof.

"Yes Twilight." Celestia said

"The magic of these ponies can be extremely powerful and can reach levels equal to or even greater than Alicorn magic." Said Twilight

"That this correct." responded Celestia.

Another pony from the back of the room called out

"So what, can he actually do any magic?!"

Celestia turned to me and said

"Can you show them what you did for me please."

I begin to concentrate deeply and try to let all my energy rush to my head, as I do this a black aurora glows around me. I can see desks begin to move and lights begin to flicker. Then I feel my entire body get taken over I here a loud scream come from my mouth and books begin to fly of desks and wind starts to pick up. I can see my whole class fearing for their life with strange things happening only associated with illegal practices such as black magic frighten the ponies in the room, except for Twilight who is watching with awe. I begin to feel funny and can hear very little, Then every thing goes dark.
