Chapter 2: The Plan

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

I have been in the unknown forest for nine days now and have found out a lot thing about my knew body and more. Apparently, I can't really eat real food, but I feed off of creature's souls and that kind of mumbo jumbo stuff. I also gain power when I kill a creature and collect it's soul. And it doesn't end there, I get all of it's memories and powers it had when I eat it's soul.

Oh and if I don't eat the soul, It gets written into my book and I can summon it to do anything I ask it. Ether to fight, protect or even be a spy and look out for me. When I summon one of my creature souls, they rise out of the ground in black, purple, and green smoke. They form into what they looked like, but more darker and evil looking. Also their bodies are a charcoal black color and have black, purple, and a hint of green smoke come off of them.

But you want to know what's really scary about what I can do? Well it's more of what I don't. I don't care about what I kill. I don't feel pain, I don't feel love, I don't even feel emotions when I kill ether a cute animals or an Lion-Bat-Scorpion thing. Anyway I have at least taken 31 lives so far and have eaten out of 20 of those souls. I have 11 souls in to book and here's what it is says in the book.

Souls

3 - Cockatrices

4 - Manticores

8 - Timberwolves

2 - Philomena

Anyway, during the 9 days of walking through the brush of the woods and collecting souls, I had lots of thought came into my mind.

"I wonder... Am I on earth? There are no such things as Manticores to Timberwolves on earth. So that must mean that I'm on a different planet. But where? I swear I have seen this forest before, but where?" I had lots of these types of question that didn't get a real answer. I think I might go insane if I don't find someone to talk to. As I walk, with my scythe in hand and ready. I then began to see some black smoke in the sky and I could hear fain screams in the distance.

"I need to know where that is coming from." I thought as an Idea came to my mind.

"I have wings." I thought as I facepalmed to my stupidity. I then began to take the information on how to fly from Philomena's memories. I then began to focus on my wings to move. Black and purple smoke began to come off on my wings as I  focused. Then with a flap of my wings, I bolted upwards into the sky. It took about a minute to get the hang of flying with my wings and trying not fall. It took 2 minutes to get full control on how to move in the air and steer.

I now could see a town on fire and in the center of it all was a green Dragon, burning down everything in it's path. My rage boiled up and I flew over at almost sound braking speeds. As I speed threw the air, I formed a long bladed scythe in my right hand. As I got closer to the Dragon, I began to go even faster then before. I could see the back of the Dragon and I aimed my scythe at the monster's neck. Then suddenly...

BOOM!

I broke the sound barrier. The only way that I can describe how it felt is this. You are in the passenger's seat of a car and said car is going 70 Miles Per Hour. let just say that when you look down at the black road and you pass by a white pebble. Well let's say road is the forest below me and that pebble was a tree. That is how fast I was going, but it barely lasted even close to a second.

How did I know this you ask? Because before I knew it, my scythe came in contact with the dragon's neck and decapitating the dragon's head from it's body. Then my feet came in contact with the ground, carving a deep cut through the town's dirt road. I could see the end of the road coming close. So I then struck the dirt with the tip of my scythe and spun a 360, then shooting upwards like a bullet, still spinning 360s. I then do a front flip, then landing between the dragon's head and it's body, making a deep footprints on impact.

I then took a few steps over to the dragon's head and put my hand onto it, then I began to be filled with overwhelming knowledge and emotions. I felt every emotion that it had ever felt and believe me when I say this, it a lot to take in. But the knowledge part was a different story. I felt at least several different language were being burned into my brain at once and on top of that was at least 700 years of knowledge on what the Dragon had learned during it long life. But luckily all of this overwhelming knowledge and emotions where being sorted out by something I still don't understand or know to this day.

While this new information was being sorted out, I looked around to see the most horrified looks on any creature that I have ever seen. And they looked like a lot like... Griffins.

"Oh fuck."

It was a normal afternoon in the Fort Everlasting. The Fort got it's name by how it food supply was always lasting and they always had more to sell. And that made the Fort become the biggest suppliers of food for the Griffin Kingdom and since it had so much food, it became best treading grounds in the entire Kingdom. But it's main trading was with the capital of the Griffin Kingdom, Fort White Feathered Blood, named after the fist queen of the Griffin Kingdom.

Anyway, lets get back to the Fort Everlasting. Like I was saying, it was a normal day for the townsfolk and they were going on with there life as usual. Until a Dragon came and began to make chaos by destroying everything in his path. The Dragon landed outside the walls and started to burn everything that it could light on fire. As soon as it was done with the markets outside of the fort's walls, it began to rampage towards the Fort and began burning down anything in it's path.

The Dragon was about to kill a group of Griffins families, until suddenly, there was a load boom that startled the green Dragon. Then a bluer of purple and black struck the Dragon's neck and decapitated it. Then the bluer began to drill across the main dirt road. Before it could smash into the fort's gate, it then did a fast spin and shot upwards into the air, then landing between the head of the green monster and it's body.

When the dust settled, the group of Griffins eyes widen in horror of the monster they saw. It was a biped with blackish purple battle armored robes with a hood. It's skin was a pale grayish color that had a dead corpse look to it. It's claws were long bony looking and also had the dead corpse look. It had wings made of think bones with black and purple smoke coming off of them. It also held a huge scythe in it's right hand.

But what got their attention was that the dead Dragon's blood began to turn into green smoke and was being sucked into what looked like a lantern. It was leaning on it's scythe for support, like if it was in pain. Then it said something in a different language that had a tone that sounded most dark and evil. And it was looking directly at them. Witch of coarse, sends them into a panic and began to run/fly away screaming at the top of their lungs.

"Damn it." I mumbled under by breath. I have probable ruined my best chance at making a friendship with someone. My mind began to go in all directions of what to do. I felt so confused.

"It's the dragon soul, I need to clear my thoughts before I do something I'll regret." I thought as I began to fly back to the forest and began clearing my head.

I'm have bean sitting on a rock for about an hour and a half, trying to grasp the fact that I'm in Equestria or most likely the Griffin Kingdom. I began to plan out a strategy of how to...

"You know what, I don't even frickin know what to do at all!" I put my hands on my head, trying to find an answer. Then suddenly, one word came into my mind.

"FIMFiction." I then began to remember all of the Human in Equestria stories that I read on my free time at home. My mind began to work on Ideas of what to do. I began to salvage all of the knowledge I could on the griffins and more. Then my mind came with an Idea that fit my situation perfectly and would end in my faver. The Idea was so perfect, that if gave me something that I haven't felt ever since I woke up in that forest.

A smile. An evil smile crept it way onto my face. I then began to chuckle a bit at the Idea and soon, I began to write my Idea into my book. My smile began to grow as I wrote down my plan. I knew well that plans never go as planed, so I made backup plans, just in case something was to go wrong, my plan would still succeed no matter what. The sky was now getting dark. I needed to get started on my plan.  What was my plan you ask?

You'll soon find out.
