~Prologue~
Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, and even more paperwork. It was the same routine for a couple of months before settling down here as number fifty-seven. That means fifty-seventh human to walk the land of the Equestrians. I was of chosen because the real number fifty-seven was not here to receive the ticket. I was supposed to be fifty-eight in a later on but hey I’m not complaining. Name: Susan Strife, Occupation: Unemployed, Age: 23, hair: Brown, Height: 5’1, yada, yada, yada. Everything checked out, so I hopped aboard. A ‘magic tunnel’ that leads to another world. A train that goes through and BAM you’re in. That was five months ago.
So what am I doing here in Equestria? Well I didn’t know where to start once I got here. I went to a housing setting for a hand full of humans up in a town called Appaloosa. Dusty town small population was perfect us to settle in. I didn’t want to just sit in one area and live for the rest of my life doing what people want me to do. I want to explore and that’s when my story begins.
~Susan #057 pov~
Jeez took me long enough , I pop my bruised wrist as I see a sign to a new town. Ponyville? I grab my wrist in pain. Those man-dog things really gave me a hard time. I walk down the trail with my cloths all torn. I didn’t think they could put up that much of a fight. I need a place to rest before I could continue any further. I put my bag on the ground and look at the sky. The sun is still rising…maybe I could rest up a bit. I reach into my bag and pulled out an old torn blanket. Man this thing took some punishment but better than nothing. I thought as I place the blanket down. One hour nap then keep going. I slowly fall asleep.
“Excuse me, ma’am.”
“Huh…?”
“Hello, are you ok?”
“Mom…no…no school please.”
“HEY!”
“WHATWHOWHERE?!” I jump in surprise to find a brown stallion with a cowboy hat in front of me. I look at the sky, the sun is lowering. Damn, I didn’t mean to sleep to long. I get up and pat myself off. I look at the Stallion eyeballing me. What’s his deal? “See something you like? I put one hand on my hip. He turned his head confused. Ok then? “Alright what is it?” He stares a couple more seconds before he talks.
“I have never seen a…well one of you before.” He sits down.
“Yeah well I guess ‘one of you’ hasn’t gone very far. I seem to be the first around here.”
“So what your name miss?” He sticks out a hoof. I take and shake. “Susan Strife or Susan #057, you?”
“Caramel…Oh you’re one of the new arrivals from earth that went to appaloosa.” I nod my head. “Well, I heard each town and city was supposed to get sixty. We haven’t just yet.” He sees my wrists. “Whoa, what happened?” I shrug, “Dogs.”
“Dogs?”
“Well they ran underground so seems like.”
“Live underground?”
“Umm yeah.”
“And you got away?”
“Decked them right in the snoz.” I form a first and a little muscle not to brag but I got some ripped from traveling. Literally, I’m a mess; I haven’t even seen my face yet.
“You look horrible, maybe you should to the hospital.” He waves for me to follow him. Well I can’t get go anywhere if I‘m injured or hurt. I followed.
~Ponyville hospital~
“Fractured ribs, sprained wrists, cuts and bruises everywhere, how long where you walking?” Doc asks me looking at my x-rays.
“Two weeks.“ I shrug.
“Sweet Celestia, that’s a long time.” He turns surprised.
“I know it was going smooth until a couple birds, dogs, muggers, and…and...and…what?” He shakes his head.
“Look stay home for a while, two weeks tops.”
“But I-“
“No buts! I’m sorry but-
“Ha you said but”
“I’m glad to see you awake in Ms. Scratch.” A white pony with an aid wrap on her snout and ear. Her hair is crazy blue…is…is that her real hair? So AWESOME!
“I know I’m all ways putting a smile on someone’s face.” She kicks back and relaxes.
“Yes then they put a hoof in yours.” He deadpans. “Now Ms. Strife do you live anywhere near by?”
“Oh yeah just down the road fifty miles from here.” He nods then realizes what he just asked and awkwardly smiles. “Oh yes I forgot, well we should send for pick up.”
“No need Doc I left from there because I don’t want to live there.” He was shocked to hear that.
“Well what should you do?” I shrugged.
“Trave-OUCH!” The doc touches my ribs. “No.”
“Aye gurl (Hey girl), if you need a place I can get you one like that.” The white one says.
“That’s awesome…way too awesome, what’s the catch?”
“No catch just need one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“A place to release my wubs.” Wha?
“Wha?”
“Play my music.” She deadpans.
“Ohhh…ok that seems to be easy.” I smile.
“Ok then now that’s settled I think you should take these pills and get plenty of rest.” He writes down some words on paper and hand them to me
~Hospital lobby!~
“Hey Susan!” Caramel gets up “how’d it go?”
“No more traveling for two weeks.” He shakes his head. “Do you need a place to stay?”
“Nope got that covered but thanks for offering.”
“Oh well good luck.” He waves and leaves.
“So Ms. Scratch-“
“Please sweet heart call me Vinyl.” She adjusts her glasses. “Come on lets hit my place.”
~Vinyl’s pad~
I can’t believe this two weeks of waiting, uggg why me? Stupid trees, stupid birds, stupid dog-man things, and demarcates…yeah…the demarcates. Oh Vinyl is talking.
“So anyway Susan here is going to be with us for a while.” She says talking to a Grey bow tie wearing pony. She seems to be frustrated.
“No Vinyl…”Ohhh that accent is thick. “…both the rooms are taken unless one of us sleeps on the couch." Silence… we stare at her, “I’m not sleeping on the couch Vinyl.”
“Fine I’ll sleep on the couch and she can my room.” Vinyl says grinning.
“Fine but if she dies of the creatures living in your room, I’m not bailing you out.” What?
“Deal!” What creatures?
“Whelp, my good friend go hit the sack, doctors order!” She pushes me along.
“Ok, ok.” I’m at her door that says Dj pon-3 guessing that’s her. I hope its clean. I grab the door knob.

Alright off to a rough start, I sorry if things get a little dicey but I try my best, I will try to make this as funny and as readable as possible without making people pissed off about spelling and how boring it is. EXTREME make over part 1
Knock knock knock
I’m not opening that door. “I’m taking a shower!” I yell.
“Come on Susan, its gone there’s nothing here to harm you!” A muffled voice says behind the door.
Octavia…that t-that thing grabbed me….GRABBED ME and to make it worse…it smiled at me!
“Come on Octy, it isn't that bad.” Vinyl says behind the door. I am not leaving this bathroom for the night!
“Oh Vinyl shut-Susan please open the door!” More knocking. Damn it! I climb out of the bathtub and unlocked the door. I see Octavia with a messy mane and pink stripped pajamas and Vinyl with nothing on rubbing her…sunglasses. “Look, I must apologize for my friend’s bedroom status.” I held up my hand.
“Don’t worry about it, I’ll just sleep here.”
“The bathroom, oh no I can’t let you do that.” She looks at the bathroom in disgust; I don’t know why the room is spotless.
“Just get me a bunch of blankets and I’ll make do with that.” She stares at me then slightly smiles.
“I have a better idea.” She walks away, me and Vinyl just looks at each other and shrug. Next thing I know a pile of blankets hit Vinyl. “She will be taking the bathroom and you will be in the room with me.” Vinyl gets up with a surprised look, so did I! “Oh don’t look like that Vinyl, you put yourself in this problem no you have to sleep with it.” She smiles evily-ish. I could help but chuckle and Vinyl staring at me makes it even funnier. Octavia walks away heading towards her room I guess.
~Octavia’s room~
“No”
“Oh it’s alright.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Cause it’s a single bed…I don’t want to...you know take up so much space.” I scratch the back of my head.
“Oh I assure you quite fine.” I walked up to the bed and sat down. I saw Octavia lay down and pat the spot next to her. Great. I lay down next to her.This is so weird, it’s like I failed to bring a sleeping bag to a slumber party! I could help but stare at Octavia; she seems so peaceful laying down like that. I poke her mane gently. She opens her eyes surprised.
“Uhhh…yes?”
“Nothing, wondering how you get your hair so shinny.” I lie blushing.
“Yeah, I wash it…you know you could wash it, right?”
Of course I don’t, “I don’t know how to…could you show me?” She looks at me wide eyed. Oh god that face!
“O-of course!” She closes her eyes once more. I get close to her face, nose to snout, and whisper. ”That’s awesome…we're like sisters now.” She smiles, “You remind me of Vinyl so much…” her eyes turn half lid,”…I like that.A lot.” I move my face away and blushed so hard.
“You got that Vinyl I bet.” I turn away blushing so hard. I hear her chuckle. “I learn from the best, now let’s get some sleep, we have to get you some new clothes.” I yawn. “Where from, human never made it here yet.”
“I have a friend that could help you with that.” I close my eyes. Oh that should be nice.
~Next morning: Ponyville- Carousel boutique~
Ring ring
“Welcome to the carousel boutique, where everything is-WHAHAHA!” Vinyl tackles the white pony to the ground. “Rarara! Nice to see you again!” She squeezes harder.
“Umm Vinyl she seems to be unable to breath.” I say hoping that she doesn't end up kill a pony.
“Oh…yeah” She lets go and Octavia help her up. “Hello cousin, Ms. Octavia, and you are…” She looks at me. I raise a hand out, “Susan, Susan Strife and you are?” She shakes my hand. Yup grip.
“Rarity, Lady Rarity if you may.” I see she very fancy, God she so pale white it like a…
“So Rara can you give my friend the hook up on some clothes?” Vinyl comes in wrapping one arm around my legs. Rarity smiles brightly. “I've been waiting to do some work on Humans ever since Twilight announced that they will be coming here!” She rubs her hooves together. While Rarity gathered her things. Vinyl and Octavia walked up to me. “Can’t believe we’re cousins sometimes.” Vinyl says smiling.
“I can you both look like you came out the same marshmallow bag.” Octavia and I laugh, Vinyl frowns, then walks away talking to herself. That’s a good one! I got to use that again someday. Rarity walks up quickly. “Come, come we must get to work!” Getting a little excited here aren't ya, its only the first date.
“What’s the rush ?” She turn to look at me. “You said you wanted a full make over, did you not?” What?
“What?” I asked wide-eyed
She drags me with her glowing thingy…magic. I turn to Octavia and Vinyl and…Vinyl Is waving and grinning. That little… ”MARSHMALLOW!!!!!!”
~A.N.~
"This is ridicules!"
Great I've been sitting here for seems like hours. Thanks to that blue dye marshmallow. Oh man when will this end? Susan? How long will I be here? Susan? Will I ever leave this room? "Susan?" Will I even learn how to combine a waffle and a taco? "SUSAN?" Who is calling my name?
"What!" I yell in frustration, can't girl get some inside thinking? Rarity smiles and points at the mirror. I was shocked, powder on my cheeks, pink lipstick, eyeliner, just completely.....completely...TRAGIC!
I grab a towel and wipe everything off except the lipstick, looks kinda nice.
"Rarity calm down, I'm not that type of girl to wear such...appliances."
"You kept the lipstick, why?"
"Fits the outfit, but powder, eyeliner, no cant do it. I'm a traveler not fancy show girl, or model." I pat her on the head."Besides I never wanted a makeover just new cloths."
"Then why did Vinyl-ohhhhhh." I nod my head. "I should apologize for my behavior."
"No need but I do need a favor."
~outside the boutique~
"Oh man it's everywhere! I need a bath stat!" Vinyl screams running around me and Tavi.
"You should have tricked Rarity into giving a forced makeover!" Tavi taunts.
SWEET CELESTIA IT BURNS!
"So where are we going?" I asked.
I'mma need about six barrels of hay fry grease to fix my hair!
"I don't know where do you want to go?"
I'm getting sleepy all of a sudden. Vinyl falls asleep on the ground. We kept walking.
"I know where to go!" Tavi shines a smile.
~Twilight's Library~
Knock knock knock
The door stays close for a couple of moments for a voice saying "ITS OPEN!" comes through. I open the door and allow Tavi through, we see a lavender pony running back and forward in the main room and a bunch of book floating above, "My god...", the pony stops and see me.
"Hello my name is-
"Twilight sparkle", I interrupt. Tavi looks at me and I shrug, "The butt tattoo fits the picture to me." Twilight looks at her flank, "Oh you mean my cutie mark, and yes you are correct." She smiles. "How amazing you knew my name off a cutie mark."
"We came here for a book Twilight", Octavia walks up.
"Sure, I'm pretty sure I have more romance nov-"
"HA HA HA TWILIGHT YOU'RE SO GREAT FOR LETTING US BARROW A TRAVELING BOOK HA HA HA!" Octavia glow bright red, grinning hard. Twilight smiles.
"A traveling book, for me?" I asked.
"Yes, I know you want to travel so I think you should get a bit of our would in that condense skull yours." She smile sweetly, awe that's so nice...wait.
"YOUR BRAIN IS CONDENSE!!!" I yell. Twilight covers her mouth and tries not to laugh.
"What does condense mean dear." Octavia trying not to smile and holds a hoof covering Twilight's mouth.
"Ummm, it means...Damn I knew I should have paid attention in class hard? Octavia claps her hooves laughing. Dirty dish rag .
"So anyway I was wondering...where is Vinyl?" I asked, Octavia stops and turns her head towards me really slow and has a face of disgust on it. "we...we...left her...on the street." I look around, turn to Twilight and she had a worried look on her face as well. Ooook .
"Maybe shes fine...maybe." Tavi puts her hooves around me with her eyes as small as dots.
"You...do not...know....VINYL!!!" She runs out the house Twilight following her talking about breathing.What the- a huge blue light rises from the window and I walked outside to see.I'm not going to like what I'm going to see am I?
Probably not!

"Oh my lord!" You see Octavia dragging a tied up Vinyl struggling, "I see you've found her" Octavia spits the rope out of her mouth.
"Yes she wanted to Challenge a friend of hers to a ruffian-off." Vinyl wiggles angrily towards Octavia, "Vinyl you are so grounded."

She was troubled...
