"Good night Scootaloo."
Fluttershy said quietly as she put Scootaloo asleep. Fluttershy blew out the only light source in the room, a candle, and closed the door behind her. She had a small grin on her face as she walked in the dimly lit room which was her own. She got into her bed and
started to fantasize of what the little orange pegasus would do tomorrow.
knock knock
Fluttershy's eyes sprang open. Her bedroom door was not closed. It must have been the front door.
"Why would somepony knock on my door at one in the morning?" Fluttershy thought to herself.
"Hey, Fluttershy open up!" Fluttershy recognized the voice from outside her home; it was Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy walked over to the front door and opened it.
"Fluttershy let's go! There is an after party at Applejack's farm! We want you to come - it's going to be So-Awesome"!
Fluttershy was a bit confused.
"But Rainbow, it/s one in the morning and -"
Rainbow dash cut off Fluttershy as she spoke.
"Yeah yeah, Fluttershy like - I said it will be like so... awesome! All our friends are there now, except Rarity, she said she needed her ' beauty sleep '." Rainbow dash started to giggle at the thought.
"What about Scootaloo? She'll be here all by herself and nopony to be with her." said Fluttershy.
Fluttershy was getting worried. The same thing happened to her as a foal. Fluttershy's parents were always working, And one night when she was around five, a robber broke into her parent's home, stole several valuables, assaulted Fluttershy, and scarred her for life. Tears rolled down her face, and she told Rainbow Dash to leave. But Rainbow didn't leave. Instead, she walked straight into Fluttershy's home.
"Fluttershy. Let's go. I mean it." Rainbow Dash was getting frustrated.
"No." said Fluttershy.
"You are going if it's the last thing I do." Rainbow Dash was getting angry now.
"No! I'm… I'm not going!"
"You want to do with the hard way? We'll do this the hard way!" Rainbow dash was really furious.
Rainbow Dash forcefully clamped her teeth onto Fluttershy's tail. Rainbow dragged her, kicking and screaming, down the path to Applejack's farm.And drug her down the path to Applejack's farm. Fluttershy eventually just gave up.
"We're almost there, Fluttershy! You holding' up?" asked Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy muttered some quiet words, most of which would be censored anyway.
Rocks, dirt, and grass stains covered Fluttershy as she arrived at Sweet Apple Acres.
"There y'all are! What took ya so long?" said Applejack.
"Oh, she was as stubborn as a horse! I don't what is up with her, but this after party should cheer her up." said a very tired Rainbow Dash.
"Ah got just the thing." Said Applejack.
Applejack then had Fluttershy sit up at a temporary folding bar that had looked as if it was in the barn for a few years. Applejack then plopped down a bottle of unmarked cider.
"Fluttershy, this here bottle is pretty old. It ain't the regular cider Ah sell once a year..."
said the strangely gleeful Applejack.
"Um... what is it? " said the nervous Fluttershy.
"It's mah special type of cider." Applejack dropped to a whisper. "It was outlawed years ago, but it's still safe to drink. Ah just can't make no more." Rainbow Dash Nudged Applejack after saying that and whispered in her ear.
"Just drink it, Fluttershy it's… uhhh... good for ya! It'll make you feel better..." said Applejack, blushing.
Applejack then took the glass and poured a small bit of the liquor in a shot glass. Fluttershy was clueless of what the reddish black drink was. Applejack slowly slid the glass to her shy friend.
"Hey, everypony come on over! Fluttershy is having her first drink!" yelled Applejack.
Fluttershy didn't know what this meant, but she noticed her friend Pinkie Pie bounce over to her, being happy as usual, and Twilight slowly walking over.
"Hey, there Applejack what are do-" Pinkie was cut off.
"Well, I need to go home and get some shuteye, AJ. Spike has been asleep for the past two hours." said a very tired Twilight Sparkle.
"Well, okay then. See ya." said Twilight as she trotted off.
"Well, I guess I should be going, too." said an also tired Fluttershy.
"Oh no ya don't! Sit back down here and drink this here cider." said Applejack.
"Oh well, alright then." said Fluttershy.
Just then, Big Mac walked over and sat on a wooden stool next a Fluttershy. They both smiled at each other and Fluttershy kissed him on the forehead.
"Um well, Big Mac." said Fluttershy.
"Eeeup." said Big Macintosh.
"Have you ever drank this stuff before Is it good"? Said the curious Fluttershy shy.'
"Eeeup it's quite good try some." Said Big Mac.
Fluttershy then took the glass in her hooves she looked at the bottle where the liquid inside the her glass came from It was called…
"AppleJack Daniels"
Fluttershy put the glass to her mouth and took a small sip.
"Oh my." gasped Fluttershy.
The intense flavor from the drink made Fluttershy's pupils become large, and she froze in her place. She just stayed there not moving.
"Um… Equestria to Fluttershy..." said Rainbow Dash, waving her leg in her in front of her eyes to get her attention. It didn't work.
"You okay there, sugar cube?" said a worried Applejack.
Fluttershy started to stutter.
"H hh hhh th-th-that was so... DELICIOUS!"
Fluttershy was overwhelmed by the drink. It was like nothing she'd ever had. She took the bottle of Liquor and drank more. As she got buzzed, the pain of Scootaloo, and being harassed as little foal left her soul. All the horrible, horrible pain and suffering was being washed away by the liquor. It felt so good to her. It numbed the pain.
"Can I - I have an another Please - If- its okay with you." stuttered Fluttershy.
"Well, okay then." said Applejack.
Applejack poured the rest of the bottle's contents in a mug and gave it to her friend Fluttershy.
"Like I told you, Applejack, Your 'Special Cider' would cheer her right up!" said Rainbow Dash proudly.
"Ya, Ah knew it would work. Ya better go bring her home. Very light drinker!" said Applejack.
"Yah, Ah'll bring her back, it is dark anyways." said Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash, with the Drunk yellow pegasus on her back, trotted back to her home. Once they arrived, Rainbow set Fluttershy down on her bed gently. A small breeze crept through the room, but Rainbow Dash was already gone.
Fluttershy stirred slightly, still peacefully wandering through dreamland, as the thin light of morning began to dawn.
