Fallout Equestria: New Maneas

War. War never changes…

When radioactive fire and mega-spells consumed the world, those who survived did so in great, underground stables. When they opened, their inhabitants set out across ruins of the old world to build new societies, establish new villages, forming new tribes.

As decades passed, what had been the far Equestrian southwest united beneath the flag of the New Celestial Republic, dedicated to old-world values of constitutional monarchy and the rule of law. As the Republic grew, so did its needs. Scouts spread east, seeking territory and wealth, in the dry and merciless expanse of the Marejave Desert. They returned with tales of a great city untouched by the warheads that had scorched the rest of the world, and a great wall spanning the Colt River.
The NCR mobilized its army and set it east to occupy the Horseshoe Dam, and restore it to working condition. But across the Colt River, another society had arisen under a different flag. A vast army of slaves…forged in the conquest of 86 tribes…Chaos’ Legion.

Four years have passed since the Republic held the Dam - just barely - against the Legion's onslaught. The Legion did not retreat. Across the river, they gathered strength. Campfires burned, training drums beat.
Through it all, the New Maneas Strip has stayed open for business under the control of its mysterious overseer, Mrs. Mare, and her army of rehabilitated Tribes and guard robots.

A fallen hero has awakened on this day… he was once a soldier, a brave captain who sacrificed himself to save the one he loved. Alas, he had been killed at the near end of the war. Little did anypony know… of the shadowy hand that had rescued him from the grave. He was rebuilt, and had extremely valuable technology placed inside his metal body. After he was placed in his stasis chamber… the mares and stallions of the past hoped that the soldier that had been the protector of a once great world that crumbled beneath their feet… would be the sole savoir of a time in the near future, shadowed in murky haze.

That time is now…
