Manehatten Ghoul
Prologue
Load Full StoryNext ChapterA lone police helicopter flew above the glowing neon of the Manehatten skyline, police sirens blaring in the streets below. It seemed that half the entire police department had been deployed to respond to whatever was happening... and there was good reason for it.
"CCG Base to 203.. trespassers reported in the 20th ward at the Aqua Building," the radio frazzled, barely audible over the sound of the helicopter's blades.
Blood was splattered on a purple face, a slender finger slowly ran down the owner's lips as they sighed with apparent arousal.
A body was thrown at a fish tank - no, the poor bastard was still breathing, but only barely alive enough to mercifully bleed out as they slid down the glass, leaving trails of blood from their eyes, their wounds and shattered teeth.
"Trespassers are believed to be Ghouls -- repeat, Ghouls. Proceed to location immediately."
A naked unicorn mare knelt amidst a pile of entrails, body parts, flesh and blood, partly shrouded in darkness while scooping blood and flesh into her mouth. She moaned in ecstasy, indulging herself greatly in her gruesome feast of blood and guts. "Ah.. More! More~!" the unicorn cried in pleasure as she buried her muzzle in the bloody torso of an unfortunate corpse. Blood poured down onto her as she raised the dead stallion's heart above her, crimson spilling onto her tongue, running down her chest and face as she gasped with arousal and a twisted smile. "Ohh.. Delicious!"
*CLIKK*
The sickening sound of someone's knuckle cracking echoed from afar, with pounding footsteps approaching the unicorn from behind. Coming into the bluish light cast by the immense fish tank, a bulky, immensely muscular stallion in a pearly business suit proved to be the source of the footsteps, contorting his fingers into odd positions to continue to make cracking sounds with his joints. A seemingly porcelain mask that resembled one used in hockey games covered his face, and he had two gold-coloured metal claws on the first two fingers of his right hand.
"It looks like they weren't kidding when they called you a binge eater," the stallion said, seeming very unimpressed - and even disappointed - more than anything.
The unicorn mare ceased her frivolities, getting up on her knees and dropping the organ she was eating, that demented smile now a disappointed, unamused frown. "I hate being interrupted when I'm eating," she sighed disappointedly.
The masked stallion tilted his head, ceasing his knuckle-cracking - or was he breaking his fingers? "You don't know me, do you?"
The unicorn stood up, her violet fur caked with blood and with her back turned to the masked stallion. "Yes, I do - You're a joyless fellow that enjoys bothering others..."
That was answered by chuckling from the masked one. "Heheheh - I've got orders from above. I'm supposed to take you alive... But then, before I do," he began, cracking his knuckles louder as his eyes, visible through his mask, widened and became bloodshot, "I can take a finger or two," *CLIKK* "an arm or two," *CLIKK* "a leg or two..!!" *CLIKK*
From behind his back he produced a large pair of gun-metal grey, rusted pliers. Not regular rust either - it was blood-rusted, badly degraded as a result; a torturer's weapon. "You won't mind, would you..?" The killer growled as the tank's lighting became red.
"A small toy for such a big body. I'll bet you enjoy playing house," came the unicorn's bored retort. "...How adorable," she added, a thin, blooded smile creeping across her face. She wasn't scared - why would she be, of such a large, bulky man who wielded a tiny weapon. That meant there was something special about it, something that made it far more powerful than any weapon that size had any business in being so, but still...
At impossible speed, the killer closed the distance between himself and his target, brandishing his weapon as he came within inches of her, his momentum sending the unicorn's hair billowing as if in a gale.
"Let me... take them from you," the masked stallion whispered with intimidation intended.
All too fast to comprehend, two crystal tentacles erupted from the killer's back and attempted to impale the Ghoul, but failed to as white smoke billowed out from where the unicorn was, missing her entirely. In the confusion, two red, scaled tentacles pierced the fish tank's glass, shattering the tank and flooding the room momentarily, leaving the killer to be swamped.
The mare had gone.
As the water drained away and fell to the floor, the killer paused, then noticed that his weapon was gone from his hand. "Give them back. They're mine. GIVE THEM BACK!" he yelled in anguish and rage as his right hand trembled, as if he was trying to make a fist yet failing to.
The unicorn held the pair of pliers as she stood on the rooftop overlooking the glowing city, studying them and their oxidized surface, the grey-brown steel coated with coarse scab-like collections of dirt and dried blood. "I'm not going to play with you," she decided, throwing the weapon over her shoulder, which landed somewhere in the building below her with a metallic clang.
She then disappeared, leaving no trace as to her being there save for the mangled, bloody pile of body parts and a floor covered in water, drowning fish and broken glass.
