Fallen

After walking for what seemed like hours Kronos found himself in what seemed to be the centermost cave in the massive caverns that built up the area looking around he whistled. After bumping into his sister Kronos looked ahead to see a crystal archway with runes carved into the object encircling it was a massive magic circle walking up he began to study the circle he could make out two important aspects of the circle 1. It was powerful which meant it was sturdy for the journey and 2. It was complicated from the looks Kronos could only guess that once the circle was activated the only way to stop it is nuke the entire area with a powerful spell, smiling looked over to his sister and said "So how are we gonna start this thing up ?"

"Well first its gonna take both of us pushing in a healthy dose of our magic to jump start the gate so it will start sucking the power from the others," Pausing she began to walk up to the archway motioning for Kronos to follow once both stood only a arms length away did she continue" and the other thing we'll need is the incantations that I've been studying for the last few years."

"That's it ?"

"That's it just hope I don't mess it up."

"What do you mean ?" Kronos gulped looking at his sister looking down at him she smiled and mouthed 'BOOM' looking back at the archway Kronos felt goose bumps forming on his skin taking a deep breath he said "Lets get this done !"

Nodding Sapphire began to charge her magic following her example Kronos's charge his pointing to the right side she shot a beam into it the runes began to glow a deep black gold color, smiling Kronos looked to the left and fired his magic into the left side seeing the runes turn the same color. After a minute his sister began to speak the incantations need to start the spell as Kronos waited he thought 'Change history for the better !'

(Few minutes later)

Flying through the air Celestia, Luna and their mother began to make their way to a massive energy surge out in the badlands the surge had only just started but was growing with every passing second and didn't seem to show any sign of stopping. Stopping mid air the three women began to look around for the mysterious energy surge nothing caught their attention huffing Lumina looked straight down "Below us the energy is coming from underground !"

Nodding Celestia and Luna concentrated a good portion of their magic and fired it into the ground making a sizable hole in the earth dive bombing the hole the three of them landed in a massive cavern with crystals glowing a verity colors and pulsing with power. Looking at each crystal the three almost missed the mysterious language that was flowing around the cave and seemingly coming from every looking around they chose a random path and began to look for a way to stop what ever was going on.

After running through the sixth crystal cavern they found themselves at what they could guess was the center with a fewer crystals in it and an archway with two figures standing in front of it they began to charge forward when a Celestia fell looking down she noticed her left leg had crystal growing up it. Turning they saw on of the figures turn back looking at them...............Kronos smiling he turned back and began to push more of his magic into the spell causing the spell energy to spike again, taking a step forward Lumina felt heavier than before turning her head slightly she noticed both her wings and part of her back incased in crystal grunting she began to trudge forward toward her nephew while screaming "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS KRONOS, YOU LEAVE LYRA AND TWILIGHT ALONE GRIEVING OVER YOU, YOU BEGIN TO HELP THE ENEMY OF OUR PEOPLE WHY KRONOS WHY !?!?"

Turning to his aunt he smiled and said "For a better future." after the final world the crystal encased the distraught aunt and the spell finished warping the area around the two users. The world began to flash past both mages closing his eyes Kronos heard thousands NO BILLIONS of screaming souls rushing past him grinding his teeth and he didn't dare open his eyes when suddenly everything became stopped moving and all he heard was chirping cracking open an eye he saw that they were in a forest with lush green trees slight frost covered them signaling to Kronos they were in a colder climate.

Looking around he saw snow covering the ground and not hard rock or sand looking up he saw heavy black clouds drifting through the sky instead of a cave ceiling. Taking a breath in the crisp air woke him up more forcing him to speak "How did we get here ?"

"Magic silly *COUGH* !" turning Kronos saw his sister next to him warn and tired her messy blonde hair had turned ash grey and her skin had became a light grey color "SAPPHIRE !" he yelled as she fell to the snow dropping to his knees he looked at her facing opening her eyes which lost their vibrant glow and were milky white color now turning to her brother she said "*COUGH* guess.........*hugh* only one...........*hugh* could go." before shutting her eyes.

Closing his eyes Kronos let a few tears roll down his cheeks as he silently cried standing up he moved his sister to a pine tree carefully laying her down he began to dig her a grave. After a few minutes he had his sister buried praying for her soul Kronos felt a presence behind him turning he saw a massive man with a bald head and long black beard he wore deep grey armor staring Kronos down he said "So your a fallen ?"

"Yes."

"Do you wish to join me boy ?"

"Who are you ?"

"I am Atlas the true king of this world." He said waving his arms out Kronos could feel the power coming off of this man smiling he said "Good I was hoping to find you !"

"Why would you need to find me ?"

"So I could make a better future."
