To the new land!

I sat at the desk, pencil in hand. What was I doing? Drawing. Drawing what? A pony. Am I gay? Nope. A pedophile? Nope. A clopper? Nope. Just a lonely kid who loved a multitude of things, but they have lately been placed on the back burner due to my mother. Why? Well, she is abusive, and a drunk, and don't care for me, or anything but her next drink and poker.

I tend to stay away from her, but she comes eventually. Always does. This has made me fear people, because I used to trust her, and now look at me. A depressed kid with an abusive mother.

Trying to draw the wings of Rainbow Dash, my right arm started to protest to doing it. Sighing, I knew I couldn't do much with a cracked bone and sprained wrist, so I laid on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. I usually did this till Five P.M. because I could do next to nothing but sleep, write, draw, and anything that my mother approved of, which I never really cared to take part in, since I had no taste for Vodka or rum, or really anything but wine.

I looked to the desk and tried looking at the clock, but I couldn't really see it, so I squinted and read something like 4:30 P.M. I grew a little bit happier, seeing I could sneak of to my dad's old place where he stores his extra junk, and somethings for me. It was really my house, and I would be getting a job soon so I could move out with legal paperwork.

There was a distant sound I grew to know all to well, stomping. My mother was pissed at me again for some stupid thing again, and was coming to beat me, and embarrass me in front of all her friends then go screw a guy. Story of my life really. I took a deep breathe and got ready for the in coming storm.

The door swung right open with my mother holding a dish in her hand. "Why the hell isn't this clean?" She asked, slurring her words. It was covered in vomit, and that was my favorite plate. It was always clea.

"I don't know, maybe because there is vomit on it? One of life's greatest questions." I sarcasticly replied. I knew she hated it, but could rarely sense it, so it really didn't add much more injury.

"It's a simple question dumbass." She said and threw the plate at me, causing vomit to fly all over over, and smashing the window and plate.

"Nice shot." The sarcasm meter was very high. "I'll get to cleaning it." I got up on my feet, and she walk towards. me. I knew what was coming, and din't dare stop it, or it'd be worse than it already would be. I braced myself for what was to come as I stared into her cold brown eyes.

She punched me in my nose, causing my head to whip back. Tears formed in my eyes as my head came back and I stared back into those eyes. She grabbed my right wrist and started  to bend it at an unnatural angle, it was very painful, making me kneel down and flinch. She started to laugh, and pushed it down. A loud snap could be heard and she started to laugh as she let go and walk out of the room.

I sat knelt there, holding my wrist in pain, holding back the tears. I stood up and walked to the broken window and climbed out, walking to the hospital.

A few hours later.

As I stepped into my second home, my own safe haven, my wrist was in a cast, making me even more useless that ever before. I sat down at a table and started to cry. I just sat in the chair and cried. Life was horrible, and always will be now. I can't go near my dad, my mother won the case, no one likes me, I'm hated and am a bother to everyone.

I got up and walked to the closet, searching for something of importance to me. After a minute of searching i found it. It was a picture of me and my dad, the last time we were still a family. Broken? Yes, but a better one that what I have. "I'm sorry, dad." I put the picture in my pocket and searched for some rope.

My search was over quick as it wasn't buried like the picture. I took a few minutes to tie a noose and find something sturdy to hold me for a few minutes before it gave. After deciding on a taller than me by a three feet taller than me. Grabbing a kitchen chair I tie the rope to the bar and put the noose over my neck.

I stood on the chair, tears rolling down my eyes. Slowly, I took a breathe and kicked the chair, causing me to fall down, even if it was short, it still hurt my neck, being sudden and fast, but it felt like it was on fire and like it was to small. After a few seconds, I focused less on the pain and just sat there, allowing myself to let my body hang limp, losing oxygen.

I felt something all of a sudden lift me up and I could breathe, and the pain slapped me again. I quickly looked down and saw something no one would expect. A pink pony with wings, horn, and a crown. It surprised me, because it was a cartoon character, holding me up, preventing my death. Her horn started to glowing, as did the rope as it undid it self.

"Umm..." I was at a loss of words. Butt this time with much more valid reasons. A fucking Alicorn saving me from dying?! How does that work? "Uh." This was very different, and scary. I feel to the ground, making a soft thud, but I felt no pain, nothing at all really, but this neck pain, and mental.

"Hello there Harley." She said, sadness in her eyes. "It's such a shame this happened." She shook her head.

"What happened? Me not dying? It wouldn't have been a shame." I say. "So, why are you here?"

"To take you away from this place" She said. "I won't allow you to throw your potential away."

"What do you mean? Me? Only me?" I ask.

"Yes, I won't allow you to do this." She said. So, my second favorite princess will not allow me to die?

"Why me? There are kids younger, killing themselves that are younger and would have much more talent then me." I state. "So why me?"

"I- I can't say that," She said. "It would just scar you worse." I just scoffed. "So please, will you come with me? Back to my land?" It sounded like a pretty girl wanting to bring a guy home.

"Yeah. I guess." I say. "I just don't see why me." She walked next me, floating my right hand onto her back, but I also felt something in my wrist, like it wasn't broken. The cast was removed and it looked like it never was harmed. "Thank you"

"You may need some help when you teleport for the first time, it does some weird things to somethings." She says smiling. I roll my eyes, but also smile a little. We got covered in a light before I knew what happened, I was on a floor, dizzy as hell sweating a little. It was quick, but felt like forever. It was crazy.

"I see why now." I lay down, and pant. "It does take a lot out of ya, for the first time I guess."

"What did I tell ya?" She laughed. I chuckle a little. Even after what happened not to long ago, I managed a real smile.
