Chapter 1: It's not suppose to bend that way!
"Dude, you sure bout' this?" Day Break, my brother, pointed out cleverly. Because, as of now, we were both snuggled onto a one pony bicycle.
"Oh come on, remember what I said? I have a plan B just in case you break"
I pointed out in a tone somewhere between, boast-y, and smart-ass. Puffing out my chest, and putting my right fore hoof on my chest, I smirked at my cleverness, that was until Day Break started to question my plan-B.
"I doubt that." He stated, giving me a deadpan stare, well that, with a little bit of a death glare added into the mix
"Brother, you wound me! Anyway, to late to turn back now!" I yelled, as I put my muzzle in the air, and began leaning forward, nudging us ever so slowly to the cliff, well not a cliff, but it was almost steep enough to be called a cliff.
And thats when he jumped off the bike, and began to trot away, to my surprise, he didn't even bother to give some sort of snooty remark of some sort. As I began quickly travel down the mountain-hill-cliff-hybrid, I put my hooves in the air, and screaming in delight at the wind rushing by my face.

"Bro, you okay?" Day stated, in his usual bored tone, staring at my right foreleg, but I felt fine, besides a dull throb in the same leg he was staring at.
Out of curiosity, I looked over to my poor limb. "Oh... well that explains it... looks swollen, oh and I don't think IT'S SUPPOSE TO BEND THAT WAY!" Looking at my brother with pleading eyes, he knew what I wanted, before I could say I wanted cookies, milk, and an old pony with a high IQ reading me a story, a hoof to the jaw sped up the process by a lot.

Waking up to the all to familiar hospital room, foreleg wrapped in a white cast, was not new. The room was bland, a few posters were up that I never bothered to read, a clock with it's infernal tick-tock sound just above the door, and a simple light
hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room. A desk next to the bed had a small lamp, and a chair to the left of the bed had a chair, with a nurse I have, surprising, never met before. The mare was a soft white, with a similarly easy to look at, light pink, and long mane, with a cutie mark matching the symbol on her nurses hat.
"6th time i've broken a limb this year and I'm still going strong!" I shouted, just loud enough for nopony else, outside the room, would mind, to my utter satisfaction, she gave out cute Eeep! before shooting out of her chair, light blushing the same color of her mane, as she trotted to the side of the bed, now smiling sheepishly down at me.
"Y-you're awake.." She said, smiling down at me, a little more confident now. I could just imagine her, going through certain steps in her mind to stay confident, she was totally new.
"Quite so, anyway, if my brother, Day Break, comes by, punch him in the jaw for me please." I said, smiling up at her now slightly shocked face
"W-what!?" As her smile slowly faded, mine did to, but I found it soon after, and smiled yet again.
"Whoa, not really, he just thought my jaw was the ideal place to hit me to knock me out, I can tell your new here for a good few reasons, the first being, you have no idea who I am, and most ponies here in the hospital know me pretty well. I break myself a lot." I said, smile growing wider as the nurse stifled a giggle into her clipboard. "Since you're stuck with me, I'm, Night Streak, as you may know... and you are?" After a few seconds of regaining her composure, she replied.
"I'm Nurse Redheart! Nice to meet you!" She said in a cheery tone, holding out a hoof, waiting for me to shake it, being the social butterfly I am, I licked her hoof, just for shits-and-giggles.
"Ewww, what was that for" She said, rubbing her hoof on the bed. Me, trying to hold in laughter replied.
"It was to good to pass up! I just had to, it's hard to get any entertainment what-so-ever, might as well make you as uncomfortable as possibly!" I said, breaking into laughter, she looked confused that I got any entertainment, but the confused look on her face was the whole reason I did it, I loved every second of that face. What she said next made me break into even more laughter.
"I... don't get it" She said, before shrugging, and giggling slightly at my infectious laughter.
xTwo Days LaterX
Me and the nurse quickly became friends, after the first day, I told her it would be my goal to make her blush as much as possible, as it was a very common goal for me and all my new female friends. I did things like flirt, and stare at her flank while she was watching, as she turned the most delightful shade of pink. This morning, I knew I had to make it the worst day of her life... well, close enough to it at least.
I craned my neck in the most obvious way possible after greeting her, and stared intently at her rear end. "You been working out, Redheart?" I smirked, but I quickly changed my expression to shock as she flicked her tail, and lazily draped her eyelids down halfway.
"Glad you noticed." She said, smirking, I proceeded to shade my face a dark crimson, overpowering my dark blue coat. I then narrowed my eyes at her.
"W-wha- erm... uhhhhhhhhh..." I continued to stare at her, now in a trance, as she began to giggle, before proceeding to do her other daily deeds.
Let me explain before I continue, I consider verbal sparing as a sport of which I am great at... or so I thought.
"Well..." The white nurse began to tap her chin, her bright blue eyes looking into the empty space that was the top right corner of the room we were in as she began to fabricate an insult out of thin air, or slightly stuffy air, if you want me to go into detail.
"Well? I ain't got all day!" To my displeasure, she smirked, but turn her head to hide her face from my untrustworthy eyes, apparently.
"Well... your leg is broken" Her smile widened a bit at her 'cleverness'.
"Well, not at broken as your face is gonna be when I'm done beating you down to the ground with insults!" I stand corrected, I am great at this! "I win!" I said, closing my eyes at the relaxing feeling of what I had just accomplished. But I can never be lucky can I.
She stared at the ground, and started tracing a circle only she could see, before sticking out her bottom lip, and looking up every so slightly while her ears slowly splayed back, to see me narrow my eyes at her.
"Don't you dare..." I warned, even though I could see light tugging at the edges of her lip, she was still able to cover her face in time to hide her devilish smirk. Even after knowing she wasn't sad, the cuteness began to overtake my fighting will to not pay attention to her.
"B-but" She said, in the saddest tone she could muster
"Okay, maybe my leg would still be a little more broken than your face would be... but you would still get some pretty bad bruising." To my dismay, she just sunk even lower to the ground in an attempt to drain me of all free will I could have had over with situation. "Uhg! Fine! You win, happy!?"
She perked her eyes up, and almost seemed to jump up in the air. It had been a while, and I had been teaching her how to get anything out of any guy, but she always seemed to be so good at it, it worked on me, ME! Imagine if she used to forbidden power on anypony else! It could stop a mans heart due to heart failure, or, blindness.
"Uhg... when am I getting out of this prison cell anyway?" I began to try math in my head, but gave up, cause' I'ma rebel!
At first she look downcast, and the real kind of downcast. At first I thought I had said something that made her think I didn't like her, but before I could think more on the subject she answered. "Some time tomorrow... I think."
It wasn't hard to figure out she didn't want me to leave, I could read her like a filly's book. "Don't worry, i'll break something else just for you! I still don't see why my brother made me stay her for a whole week... or however long it's been, I don't pay attention much.
She blushed a light pink, before cutely chuckling, she began to trace that invisible circle again, biting her lower lip in an attempt to fabricate a verbal hammer to break the awkward moment, well it was awkward for her.
"Breaking a bone not good enough? I think I still have some acid left over fro-" She cut me off like the big mare she was.
"Wha- no! Erm.." She only chuckled again, seeming to shrink underneath my amused gaze, as her blush began to intensify the longer the silents carried on.
Like the gentlecolt I was, I decided to unwilling give her an reason to leave, by expressing my tiredness in the form of a loud, overly dramatic yawn. I noticed her smile, as I put on a show of shoving my face into the pillow, and purred in delight at the cold spot on the other side of said pillow.
"Oh, uhm, I best be going" I smiles at her, and gave a slight nod, she smiled softly at me before quietly leaving my hospital room, and closing the white door behind her. Looking at the clock that I hated with all my heart, I decided that if I was going to sleep, 11:00 PM was the time to do it, so I closed my eyes, before frowning, and tuning my pillow over to the colder side, but, while trying to get my orange mane out of the way of the pillow, I managed to him myself in the forehead, I didn't even try to know how I did, but I was now fully awake due to the surge in pain, and it took a full thirty minutes to fall into a surprisingly dreamless sleep.
