Spike leapt down the stairs and looked around, settling his eyes on Twilight.
"Twilight, are you okay? I heard screaming?"
"Oh uh... Hi Spike! I was just... looking through the shelves and I... found a really expensive book. I was going to buy another copy, but now I don't have to so I was happy... and stuff." He got a confused look.
"Wow Twilight, you must have been really happy, you were screaming really loud!" An awkward grin crossed my face. Thank you Spike, I have lots of practice.

"Well Spike, you see, every couple of years, a Human starts to have a really sweaty face. It helps get out toxins from our exceptionally large brains... or something." He bought it.
