The Command Centre, a high-tech facility out on an island near the city of Harwood, California, could be described as the safest place in the world. No one could access it without being a legendary hero called a Super Megaforce Power Ranger. These people had not only the power to morph into costumed heroes, but also access to the powers of every Power Rangers team from the past and at a pinch could summon giant vehicles called Zords and combine them into a huge robot called a Megazord. The six Rangers were currently talking to each other inside the Command Centre.
"Rangers" said Gosei, the protege of the interdimensional being and mentor to the first team of Power Rangers Zordon. Gosei, had like his teacher, chose the Rangers to fight for the earth, beginning with the Warstar, who were an evil army of alien bug creatures called the Insectoids bent on destroying the Earth. They had all but been destroyed by the Rangers. Now the enemy was the Armada, lead by the brother of the prince of Warstar, Prince Vekar, who the Rangers had been battling.
"Wow" exclaimed Tensou, Gosei's robot technical assistant, "what was that?"
"Sounded like a meteorite hit" said Noah Carver, the Super Megaforce Blue Ranger, the brains of the Rangers.
"You mean a rock falling from space" said Gia Moran, the Super Megaforce Yellow Ranger, giving a more simple explanation for Jake Holling the Super Megaforce Green Ranger.
"A rock falling from space?" asked Emma Goodall the Super Megaforce Pink Ranger, "Why hasn't the Command Centre been destroyed?"
"Maybe it's not a meteorite" suggested Orion, an alien from the destroyed planet Andresia now living on Earth and the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger.
"That's correct, Orion" said Gosei, "An object did indeed crash a mile or so from here, or should I say six objects, and the strange thing is"
"What's strange about it Gosei?" asked Troy Burrows the Super Megaforce Red Ranger.
"I'm getting life signs from them" Gosei replied.
"Well what are we wanting for?" asked Troy, "Let's go!"
"Right!" said the rest of the Rangers, and they left the Command Centre and headed to where the objects had crashed.
"We must be getting close" Noah said after a while.
Noah examined the creatures,
"Amazing, they appear to be equine in physiology" he said, "yet they also have humanoid features".
"What are you talking about?" Jake asked
"They look like horses, but they also look slightly human" Gia replied.
"Three of them have wings!" Emma noticed,
"And two have horns!" Jake noticed,
"One even has both!" said Orion,
"But I didn't know horses came in a variety of colours" said Troy,
"Nor did I know that they had symbols on their flanks" said Emma,
"The're hurt" observed Noah "We should get them back to the Command Centre."
"OK" said everyone else. And they headed back to the Command Centre, each one carrying one of the creatures.
Once inside, Gosei said "Well, Rangers what did you find?" Then he noticed they were carrying the creatures. The sound of Gosei's voice was a shock to the Rangers. They had never heard Gosei sound so shocked.
"These creatures..." said Gosei, "They are familiar to me, but I don't know how. Tensou, pull up the database on creatures from other dimensions."
"On it, Gosei" said Tensou as he worked the controls. He paused for a moment, then he said, "Gosei, these creatures would appear to be... Equestrian."
"Equestrian?" asked Noah, for although he was smart he wasn't as versed in other dimensions as Gosei and Tensou were.
"They come from the land of Equestria, which lies in another dimension" explained Gosei, "My mentor Zordon once told me of the ponies of Equestria and the level of harmony and peace, unparalleled throughout the multiverse. If they have been sent to our dimension, it must be for a reason."
"Tensou, can you revive them?" asked Troy.
"Yes I can, as a matter of fact" replied Tensou. "I'll get started on it right away" and Tensou and the Rangers took the creatures to the sick bay.
"Good" said Gosei "These ponies must be of some importance if they have been sent to our reality."
Twilight Sparkle woke up in a place she didn't recognize. It looked vaguely like a hospital room, but more advanced and it was in a cave.
"My inter-dimensional teleportation spell must have worked," she said to herself. She got off the bed, and began walking down the hall. When she got to the end of the hall, she heard familiar voices talking to some unfamiliar ones.
"Now, ah know y’all are good people and all" said Applejack, "but ah just don't see ya as superheroes. Ya don't look like superhero material."
"Oh, sure" mocked Rainbow Dash, "and you also have magic keys that can turn you into superheroes! And who is this ‘Gosei’ guy you keep talking about?"
The moment Rainbow Dash said "Gosei," Twilight was astonished. How could somepony like her possibly know about the student of Zordon the wizard from another dimension, who had made the Elements of Harmony? The door in front of Twilight opened, and she saw that her friends were arguing with six humans, each were wearing different colours.
"Twilight!" said Pinkie Pie, "You're finally awake!"
"You must be Twilight Sparkle" said the human wearing sliver, "We've heard so much about you. Name's Orion." He held out his hand, and Twilight shook it.
"I'm Troy" said the human in red, who she also shook hands with.
"I'm Jake" said the black-clad human, who Twilight also shook hands with.
"I'm Noah" said the human clad in blue, who gave Twilight a slightly weaker handshake, "Pleasure to meet you"
"I'm Gia" said the human clad in yellow, whose handshake was much stronger then Troy's and Orion's
"And I'm Emma" said the human clad in pink, introducing herself.
"Pleasure to meet you all" said Twilight. "Girls, I'm sure we all know why we are here, Right?"
"Um, I don't" said Fluttershy.
"You really didn't tell us, darling" said Rarity.
"Fine, then I'll explain. A thousand years ago, in Equestrian time, Equestria was invaded by creatures called Changelings. Changelings are creatures that feed off love. They can also turn themselves into other ponies and are led by their Queen, Chrysalis. They were banished to the ends of Equestria by two young alicorns, named Celestia and Luna, who now rule over Equestria. But after many years the Changelings and their Queen managed to regain their strength and now they have fled to this universe. I believe Chrysalis and her kind have taken refuge in a spaceship stationed above your earth, which, if I am not mistaken, is the home of a vile prince named Vekar. Celestia, my mentor has sent us to assist you, the Rangers, in defeating their combined assaults on earth". "Yes" she added to the humans, "I know all about the Ranger Keys, Zords and that sort of thing. I even know that you're the Power Rangers of this world."
"Well, if they're what you call 'Power Rangers'" said Rainbow Dash, "then why don't they prove it?"
"All right" said Troy "SUPER MEGA MODE!"
And they all pulled out strange devices from their belts and inserted some different coloured keys into them.
"Super Megaforce red!" said Troy
"Super Megaforce yellow!" said Gia
"Super Megaforce green!" said Jake
"Super Megaforce pink!" said Emma
"Super Megaforce blue!" said Noah
"Super Megaforce silver!" said Orion
What happen next astonished everypony but Twilight. The humans were now clad in colour-coded helmets and suits, the same colour as their normal clothes, and the helmets had a symbol on them that resembled a pirate crossed cutlasses. They had morphed into Power Rangers.
"So ya are superheroes!" said Applejack
"There is no time for debate, my little ponies" said a voice from behind them. The voice came from a giant alien face set into the rock wall of the Command Centre.
"Who are you?" demanded Rainbow Dash
"You..." Twilight said, not able to believe her eyes, "you must be...Gosei"
"That is correct" he replied.
"But who is he?" demanded Rainbow Dash, increasingly irritated by not knowing anything about this Gosei character.
"He and his mentor Zordon visited Equestria twelve hundred years ago," Twilight explained, "and Zordon was the creator of the Elements of Harmony. I believe the technology and power behind the Elements are similar to that of the Ranger's keys and transformation devices,which are called Legendary Morphers."
"Correct again" replied Gosei, "My mentor and I were astonished at the levels of harmony your race had achieved, yet my mentor knew that it was not to last. So he created the Elements of Harmony using what he had learned about the Legendary Morphers. He designed them so the only those whose hearts were pure could wield them effectively".
"But what do ya have to do these Rangers?" asked Applejack.
"Simple, like my teacher before me, I am the Rangers mentor and guide" Gosei said.
"Well, now we know why we are here," said Rarity, "but what, other then queen Chrysalis and her Changelings, are we up against?"
"I am glad you asked," said Gosei, "Prince Vekar, is the alien leader of the Armada, a huge fleet of battle ships, which is looking to take over the Earth. If the might of his army is combined with the Changelings power it could spell doom for the earth".
"Well, everyone, what are we waiting for?" said Twilight, "Let's go get them!"
"Right!" said the Rangers and they all dashed out of the Command Centre.
"May the Power protect you all" Gosei said as they left.
Inside Prince Vekar's battle ship orbiting the earth, all was not well. Vekar was looking at the Earth on one of the monitor's screens on his ship and was not pleased with what he saw.
"What's the matter Vekar?" asked Queen Chrysalis, "what is happening down there?"
"The matter is those Rangers and what's worse is that they have found new allies" Vekar retorted, "and it's Prince Vekar!"
"Well, I'm sure they're nothing I and my swarm can't handle" Chrysalis reassured Vekar as she approached Vekar's monitor screen. But what she saw on the screen shocked her. The Power Rangers were with some VERY familiar ponies.
"Those ponies" Chrysalis hissed in anger, "they must have followed me here".
"Levira, send down some X Borgs and Bruisers to deal with the Rangers and their new friends" commanded Vekar.
"I'm on it" said Levira, Vekar's top scientist.
A small number of X Borgs and Bruisers were ready to go and stop the Rangers and their new friends.
The Rangers and their pony partners had barely walked a few steps when a small group of X Borgs and Bruisers appeared in front of them.
"Well" said Applejack, "This is new",
"Aw, these things are nothing" gloated Rainbow Dash, "back home we had to deal with Discord, bringer of chaos and disharmony. He's a real pain in the flank".
"Guys, fight now talk later" said Troy, "It's time to go legendary and beat these creeps".
"Right" said the other Rangers. "Legendary Black Ranger mode!"
The Rangers took out their Ranger keys and inserted them into their morphers again, but this time the keys were just coloured black.
"Operation Overdrive Black Ranger!" said Troy.
"Space Black Ranger!" said Noah.
"Dino Thunder Black Ranger!" said Jake.
"Alien Black Ranger!" said Gia.
"RPM Black Ranger!" said Emma.
"Jungle Fury Black Lion!" said Orion.
After the Rangers morphed the fight began.
While the Rangers mopped the floor with both X Borgs and Bruisers like they had time and time again, they were surprised to see that their pony friends had very little trouble knocking out the robots. Even Fluttershy, who was normally not much of a fighter, was knocking the daylights out of both the X Borgs and Bruisers.
"Something tells me that was too easy" Orion said, after all the X Borgs and Bruisers had been destroyed. But before he or the others could say another word a flash of light appeared in front of them as Queen Chrysalis materialized.
"Bravo Rangers" she said, a mocking smirk on her face. "You manged to beat our X Borgs and Bruisers, but that was only a distraction"
"What are you talking about?" asked Troy, but at that moment the sky turned dark grey.
"That's a lot of Changelings" said Jake, staring at the massive cloud of Changelings.
"Look at the city" Emma said, pointing towards the Harwood skyline which had been turned dark by the swarm of Changelings
Suddenly Argus, Prince Vekar's robotic bodyguard appeared beside Chrysalis.
"Earth belongs to the Armada" he said.
"I'm not afraid of you, tin-head" Rainbow Dash proclaimed defiantly as she charged straight at Argus. But before she could so much as touch him, Argus hit her with a powerful blast of energy from his sword.
"Pick your words carefully ponies" he snarled, "if your not careful then history will repeat itself".
The Changelings that had stayed behind with their queen, changed their forms to look just like Twilight and her friends.
"Not again" groaned Twilight
"Now its my turn!" Orion said, charging straight at Chrysalis. Before he could do any damage he was hit with a blast of magic from Chrysalis's horn.
"Orion, are you OK?" asked Jake.
"I've never felt better in my life" Orion replied, his body was surging with Chrysalis's magic.
"Destroy the Rangers and their friends" commanded Chrysalis.
"Yes my queen" Orion said. He inserted another Ranger Key into his morpher, this one coloured scarlet
"Mystic Force Wolf Warrior!" he said.
"Looks like we should go Legendary" Troy said.
"Right!" said the rest of the Rangers. "Legendary Red Ranger mode!"
"S.P.D. Red Ranger!" said Troy
"Lightspeed Rescue Red Ranger!" said Noah
"Time Force Red Ranger!" said Jake
"RPM Red Ranger!" said Gia
"Samurai Red Ranger!" said Emma.
Once they had morphed they joined their pony friends who donned their Elements of Harmony.
"Honesty!" said Applejack
"Kindness!" said Fluttershy
"Laughter!" said Pinkie Pie
"Generosity!" said Rarity
"Loyalty!" said Rainbow Dash
"Magic!" said Twilight
"Remember don't hurt Orion" Noah said, once the ponies had donned their Elements.
"Right" replied the ponies
The Rangers and ponies charged at the hypnotized Sliver Ranger.
"I must destroy you all" Orion said "I must be victorious for my Queen"
"Not today sugarcube" said Applejack and with a kick of her back legs both Orion's Knight saber and Wolf shield flew out of his hands.
Chrysalis, seeing that her plan had failed, turned to Argus, "Send in some more X Borgs" she said.
"Right" he nodded. A small task force of X Borgs appeared in front of them.
Chrysalis turned to the small group of Changelings who were disguised as Twilight and her friends, the Changeling mane six "Attack" she commanded
"Since you are already in Legendary mode" Orion said, inserting another key into his morpher, this one coloured scarlet and black, "I think I should be too"
"Time Force Quantum Ranger!" he said as he morphed.
The Rangers and ponies charged at both the X Borgs and the Changeling imposters. It took the Rangers some time to tell the Changeling versions of Twilight and her friends from the real thing, but they finally got the hang of it.
When both the Changelings and the X Borgs were defeated, the Rangers demorphed out of their Legendary mode and turned their attention to Queen Chrysalis and Argus.
"You take the robot, I'll take the Changeling" Orion said.
"You really think that one Ranger can stop me?" Chrysalis said. She found it amusing that only one Ranger was choosing to fight her.
"Yes" replied Orion, "because I have this". He revealed another Ranger key, only this one was in the shape of a ship's anchor and it was also coloured bright gold.
Orion inserted the key into his morpher.
"Super megaforce Gold!" he said.
After Orion had morphed he charged straight at Chrysalis. "Earth defenders never surrender!" he cried. Chrysalis fired blasts of magic at him but the Sliver Ranger seemed to move like lighting and the blows he made with his Super Spear weapon were enough to weaken and then defeat Chrysalis.
"You'll pay for what you did to me" Orion said.
"You think I'm scared of you?" Chrysalis said standing her ground, "Do your worst"
"Gladly" Orion said, inserting his Sliver Ranger key into his weapon, "Legendary Final Strike charge!"
The spirits of the first seven Past Sixth Power Rangers seemed to appear beside Orion to power up his weapon, these spirits were the previous generations of Sixth Power Rangers. "Power of Six Unite!" he said. Some more Sixth Ranger spirits appeared and charged straight at Chrysalis, each one landing a powerful blow to her.
"No!" the Changeling Queen cried before she exploded.
The rest of the Rangers and the ponies battle against Argus was almost done. Troy used his S.P.D. weapons to disarm Argus, then Twilight fired a powerful blast of magic at him, defeating him and like Chrysalis he exploded.
The battle was over, or was it?
Back on his spaceship, Prince Vekar watched in horror as his Bodyguard and the Changeling Queen were defeated by the Rangers and the ponies.
"Levira do something!" he barked.
"Relax, I'm on it" Levira said, and with that she fired up the ships Maximizer.
"Team it's not over" Troy said
As the Maximizers beam hit both Chrysalis and Argus giving them more power and also making them grow to gigantic proportions.
"You all are now just peddles under my hooves" Chrysalis laughed,
"Looks like its time to take this fight to the next level" Troy said.
He pressed some buttons on his morpher and a giant vehicle appeared, the Red Ranger's Super Mega Skyship, also called a zord. The Rangers could summon their zords when the fight against evil got out of hand.
Orion was next to summon his zord, the Q-Rex. After summoning all the zords the Rangers entered them.
"Its Megazord time" said Troy, as the Super Megaforce zords merged together to form the Legendary Megazord, while Orion's zord converted to its own Megazord mode.
"Time to end this" Chrysalis growled.
She used her magic to charge Argus's sword for a fierce solar slash attack.
"It's time to summon all the Legendary zords for the Ultimate Legendary zord blitz attack" Noah suggested. Using some of their powers, the Rangers summoned the five other legendary zords: The S.P.D. Delta Runner, The Mystic Force Mystic Dragon, The Wild Force Red lion, The RPM Turbo Falcon zord and The Ninja Storm Minizord for a powerful strike.
"Alright, lets prove that all bullies, no matter how big, get what's coming to them!" Troy said when the extra zords were ready
"Ultimate legendary zord blitz attack active" cried the Rangers,
"The only victory here will be the Armada's!" Argus said, preparing to charge his sword for another attack.
The energy was enough to destroy both Chrysalis and Argus once and for all.
"You may have won this battle Rangers" Argus said "but you won't win the war against the Armada" he said before he exploded for the last time; both he and Chrysalis were defeated.
"Super Mega Rangers, Elements of Harmony, that's a Super Mega Win!" Troy, said as the Rangers left their megazords and the ponies powered down their Elements.
"Well," Twilight said to Orion, "We must go back to Equestria, good luck to you and your friends,
"And to you and Equestria" replied Orion.
"You know what we should do now?" asked Gia, "we should take a picture to remember".
"Great idea" Jake said, "does anyone have a camera?"
"I do" Emma replied, holding it up.
The Rangers and ponies all posed for the picture.
"We are Power Rangers!" they cheered,
Once the photo was taken Twilight gathered up her friends and cast her inter-dimensional teleportation spell.
"Goodbye, Super Megaforce Power Rangers" Twilight said.
"I'll never forget you" Pinkie said before all the ponies disappeared.
"Well, the earth lives to fight another day" Troy said as he and the other Rangers demorphed.
"Who's up for a Brainfreeze at Ernie's?" asked Jake, and they all dashed out of the Command Centre.
