As a larva, Fred had always dreamed of becoming part of the swarm and serving his queen. After the pupal stage, he is put into Training Camp with all the other young Changelings, and must be instructed on how to fight properly. However, training is tough for Fred, especially since the commanders appear to not feel any love.
