//-------------------------------------------------------// Little Pips' Reward -by Vital Heart- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Little Pips' Reward Chapter 1 Out in the wasteland that once was Equestria, now with the sun shining down on the ground. All of that was thanks to the 'Light Bringer of Equestria' or 'The Stable Dweller' or my personal favorite 'The Toaster Repair Pony', and her group of friends, who are climbing up a mountain to visit her sleeping body. This particular group of ponies are well know for wining the war against the Pegasus Enclave, the group of ponies are: Calamity, the sky bandit with a costume made battle saddle, Velvet Remedy, the kind medic that had saved one of the Ministry Mares from an eternal hell, Steel Hooves, the leader of the Applejack Rangers, Xenith, the zebrican alchemist, Homage, secretly the famous DJ Pony and is also the Light Bringers' fillyfriend. They are also famous for being friends with the previously mentioned 'Light Bringer of Equestria', Little Pip, who sacrificed herself to stop the enclave once and for all, and then there's Little Pips mother, Hard Cider. As they near the top of the mountain they spot a familiar cave that is inhabited a dragon named Spike who guards the Elements of Harmony and was once the personal assistant of Twilight Sparkle, the Minister of Magic. When Spike saw them come into his cave and smiled, today is the day Little Pips' friends visit her and give her some presents for her birthday. And then he spotted Hard Cider and frowned, he had heard about Little Pips mother. "So are you guys sure that she should be coming along with you guys, no offense miss but I haven't heard any good things about you from them." the aged dragon said as he crossed his arms. "Yes we're sure Spike, now lets get prepared to see her." Velvet Remedy said as she went to the edge of the cave and started to check if all her supplies are there. "So what have you heard about me?" Hard Cider timidly asked the large dragon. "That you are a drunk that doesn't care for your daughter safety, instead saying that your the one who has been traumatized over small things." Spike said as he glared at the orange unicorn. "WHAT!" She screamed. "That's preposterous, I care for Little Pip just as much as the next pony, and when I heard that she won't be returning from the S.P.P. I was so heart broken that I went back to drinking even after all of the rehab I went through." "Yes she went through rehab Spike, I asked the Over Mare of Stable Two to confirm it." Velvet said as she answered Spikes Question before he asked. "Alright, all of you should get prepared and make sure that your ready for this." Spike said before walking off, leaving the group to prepare to see their friend (or daughter for Hard Ciders case). "So your sure that this won't kill us or nothing?" The sky bandit asked the purple and green dragon. "Yes, this had worked for Little Pip why would it not work for you, now would you stop asking that." A very annoyed Spike responded. "Seriously Calamity, will you stop pestering Spike and just get burned alive like a real stallion." Homage joked. Calamity glared at the small unicorn "Well sorry if Ah don't want to die just yet." Homage just grinned at Calamity. "Can't we just get this over with and go see Little Pip." Velvet Remedy sighs as she turns toward Spike "When your ready Spike." "Alright, but this is going to hurt... a lot." Spike says before he inhaled deeply. All five of the war heroes tensed up, before being bathed in a green flame. As they recovered from the pain of being burned alive, they saw that they were in a completely different surrounding. "So this is Little Pips' resting place." Xenith says as she looked around. "It seems so, so lets go and see our little toaster repair pony." Velvet said with a grin as she looked at the zebra. "Yes, and lets hope she is being feed some how." Steel Hooves said as he walked towards the door. "Don't worry her body is being neutered while she's unconscious." Celestia surprised the group as she appeared on the screen. After they recovered from nearly being scared to death, Calamity walked up to the monitor Celestia was on. "Well then, can we see her." Calamity said. Celestia blinked before giving a sheepish grin "Oh right, go on in." The door opened to as hallway that led to a machine, in said machine sat a grayish pink unicorn with a pipbuck attached to her right fore hoof. Even with few battle scars, no one would ever believe you unless you had actual proof that she was The Stable Dweller. Yet here she was sleeping, looking just as she had before she left them to activate the Single Pony Project and clear the skies of clouds. Even though that was 3 weeks ago, she looked as if she hadn't changed at all. "It seems as if she never changed, I was expecting her to be a little more frail looking." Velvet said as she looked over her foalhood friend. "Wow, yah sure sound sympathetic Velvet." Calamity said as he gave her a knowing smile. "I'm just as crestfallen that it had to be this way as you are." Velvet responded as she shot a look at the sky bandit. As the group walked towards the sleeping hero, as they neared they noticed the objects surrounding her. As each one of them recognized one of the items, they smiled warmly at the memories they shared together. "So everyone brought something for her, I presume." Steel Hooves said as he looked to the others. All of them nodded, before Calamity stepped with a multi colored anti-machine rifle. "I nearly killed yah and you forgave me for it as if it just a slight 'misunderstanding'," Calamity said as he set down the large rifle, "And this here is to repay yah for your generosity, and no yah can't return it." "Where did you find that thing, Calamity." Velvet said as she walked up beside him. "In the enclaves bank, it's called 'Rainbows Lighting'." Calamity said as he stepped aside for Velvet to give her present. "Thanks, and this is to repay you for your loyalty to me," Velvet said as she attached a device to Little Pips' chest armor, " This well cast a healing aura around if your wounded, so you don't need to relay on me to heal you." "Very interesting, how did you make such a device?" Steel Hooves asked as he looked over the device. "Flutter Shy helped me make it, we use a device similar to the Zebrican healing wards and our enchantment spells." Velvet explained as she walked over to Calamity. "Huh, well okay then." Steel Hooves said as he walked over to Little Pip. "Um, Steel Hooves, what's that yah got there?" Calamity asked as he saw a glowing device in Steel Hooves hoof. "A cloning device that was made from our research into technology at the MWT's main research facility near Trottingham," He answered as he sets it down next to Little Pip. "And it is to repay Little Pip for her kindness of keeping me even after I showed her how bad I could be." "Wow that's cool, but is there a downside to it?" Homage asked as she walked up to him. "Yes, it can't clone the enchantments or wards on the object you cloning." Steel Hooves explained to Homage. "Damn, that's a shame," She said before walking up to her fillyfriend with a Pipbuck attachment, "But at least it does something right?" "Yes, and what is that you got there, looks like a Pipbuck attachment." Steel Hooves stated as he looked at the object. "That's cause it is," Homage said as she attached it to Little Pips' Pipbuck, "And this is how I'm going to repay her for her honesty with me, no matter how private it was." "Um, what does it do?" Hard Cider asked "It can do all sorts of things like: make a shield around her entire body, form a invisibility cloak around her as well, and also make a bubble shield that covers a five meter diameter, and it can charge via solar power, so you never after get a new one." Homage claimed as she went to join the others. "That is most useful for our stable dweller," Xenith said as she walked up to the mare that saved her from the Red Eyes slave camp, "And now I guess is my turn to gift her." "Yeah, what did you get Little Pip?" Homage asked excitedly. "I got her a potion, that increases her senses permanently." Xenith said as she set it down next to Little Pip. "So like a permanent version of the mentals?" Calamity asked with a suspicious look on his face. "Yes, except it's not addictive." Xenith explained to the Pegasus. "And this is how I'm going to thank her for the Laughter we shared together." " Um, what are mentals?" Hard Cider asked as she walked over to her daughter. "A very addictive drug that increases your senses and helps you talk your way out of a situation." Velvet explained to the mare. "That your daughter got addicted to after we saved Velvet here." Calamity added. "WHAT!?" Hard Cider screamed at the group. "So is this Little Pips mother?" Celestia asked from the monitor in the room. "Yes, Princess," Steel Hooves told Celestia "This is the alcoholic that claims to be her mother." "I am her mother you son of a bitch, how dare you accuse me that I wasn't." Hard Cider screamed at the steel ranger. "I believe you, now I think your the last one to give a gift to her." Celestia said to the angry unicorn. "Alright, I got her a spell book from the stable," Hard Cider said as she placed down the book next to her sleeping daughter, "It was put written by Twilight Sparkle herself." "Wow that's a thick book." Calamity said as he stared at the book. Indeed it was thick, nearly a foot thick. Holding every spell that Twilight had learned, even the inappropriate ones. From teleportation to gender swapping. Every spell was packed into that book. "Well after my daughter did all of those things, I realized after you left the stable, I realized that my time with my daughter had been like magic and I ignored her." Hard Cider said as tears started to form in her eyes. "How did Stable Two get that book?" Celestia asked. "Every stable was supposed to get at least one of these books, Princess Luna's orders." Hard Cider responded looking at the screen with Princess Celestia on it. "My sister order that behind my back." Celestia said sounding surprised. "Yeah, now do you have a present for my daughter too or is everybody done with that." Hard Cider said as she sat next to her daughter. "Yes, but this isn't going to be easy to say but..." Celestia started to say before biting her lip, "I think there is a way to save Equestria and repay Little Pip for all she's done." "What how." They all said as they crowded around the screen. "I can sense all six Elements of Harmony inside her, so if we can activate that then the mega spell Spike is guarding will power up and dentate, saving Equestria and also if all of use combine our energy she can be sent into another dimension safe and sound." Celestia explained to them. "But there's more to it than just that, isn't there."  Homage said. "Yes we will all die from doing so, and she will not like if she hears that, and it won't work unless your all willing." Celestia stated as she gave them a serious look. "Well I'm in." Calamity said right away. "Me too." Xenith said. "I will do it for her." Hard Cider said. "Well I can't not do this." Homage said as she gave Little Pips forehead a kiss. "After all she's done this is a small deed, I'm in as well." Velvet said as she hugged by Little Pip. "I will do this as well." Steel Hooves said. "Then lets wake up Little Pip and save Equestria." Celestia said as her horn glowed for a moment. "Wait!" Xenith yelled before Celestia could fully complete the spell. "Huh, uh yes Xenith." Celestia asked slighty confused by the zebra's sudden outburst. "We'll need a plan to make sure that Little Pip doesn't interfere with the what we're planning." Xenith said. "Huh, what yawl mean by that Xenith, Little Pips a smart pony who only wants what's best for Equestria." Calamity told the zebra, also very confused. "She is smart, so how do we know that she won't think about the side effects of what she'll cause, or start asking questions that will led her to that conclusion." Xenith explained to the Pegasus "And she care for her friends more than Equestria, so what if she finds out that we will not survive the mega spell and she will?" "She will no longer want to use the Elements, thus making us force her to do so instead." Celestia responded eyes wide as she came to the realization that what the zebra was saying was completely right. "So we need a plan to stop Little Pip from refusing to use the Elements of Harmony, and what about the other part of our plan." Hard Cider questioned the group as they thought of a plan. "How about we keep her distracted and only completely focused on us until it's to late for he to refuse the activation of the Elements." Steel Hooves through out. "Yes, that seems logical and effective, but how?" Xenith asked. "By keeping her tongue tied of course," Homage said with a grin "And I know just the pony to do it." As they began planning, they failed to notice Little Pips body shiver. Little Pip stirred in her sleep, then her eyes opened. The first thing she noticed that she was being hugged by someone. "Huh?" Little Pip said when she realized that she was being hugged from both Velvet Remedy and Homage. "Wakey wakey, my little toaster repair pony." Homage said as she nuzzled against her. "What is going on, am I still dreaming?" Little Pip asked clearly confused. "No, its your birthday and we have found a way for you to help Equestria once again." Velvet said as she hugged her tighter. "Really, how?" Little Pip asked eager to help once again. "Simple just let Celestia do the work." Calamity as he walked over and hugged her as well. "And don't break contact with us." Steel Hooves said as he did the same. "All of us have to remain in contact with you or it won't work." Xenith said as she hugged Little Pip as well. "Wha, how is this supposed to help?" Little Pip questioned her friends. "Because, Little Pip, you have a six Elements inside of you and we're going activate it." Hard Cider said as she joined in. "What, Mom, but Spike said-" Little Pip started to speak but was shut up by Homage kissing her. "It's okay Little Pip, Celestia says that she can sense them inside you." Velvet told Little Pip. "Really?" Little Pip asked timidly once Homage broke the kiss, Little Pip was starting feel something inside her start to churn, as if powering up. "Yep, and your going to dentate that mega spell Spike is defending." Velvet said with a smile as she neared Little Pips face. "Um, and what will that do." Little Pip asked getting a little worried. "Oh, nothing just that you'll remove all the taint, radiation, and reform Equestria into a better place." Velvet said almost kissing Little Pip. "Um, why are you so close?" Little Pip asked starting to get worried. "Well, we will be sending into a different dimension where you will be safe and away from the wasteland and this is the last time we will be seeing you, so I decided to give you a little kiss as a farewell gift." Velvet said before she kissed the filly. "Don't worry Little Pip this is for the greater good." Hard Cider said as she nuzzled her daughter one last time. When Velvet broke the kiss Little Pip was gasping for air, and when she managed to pull her thoughts together it was right before the Elements ignited. "Wait-" was all she got out before her sight turned into a huge rainbow, and she fell unconscious. End of Chapter 1 To be Continued
