Danny had his backpack slung over his shoulder as he strolled out of school in deep thought, he was barely two meters away from the school exit when, "thinking about what's happened in class?" Danny whirled to his right side (which was where the sound was coming from) he saw a cloak as it disappeared behind the side of the school.

        "hey, HEY, wait up!" Danny cried realizing it was the same thing from class and in his dream's and raced after it. He heard  the sound of hooves hitting the small sidewalk as the creature ran from him. Wait, hooves? He chased it to that back of the school, which was unfortunate because the school was Five meters long and five meters wide. He was just about to give up and go home, but Wait! this is could be the biggest adventure you will ever have and you're just going to give up? And with that thought Danny raced along the right side for the sixth time to catch up with the horse thing when suddenly the unicorn? Horse stood right in front of him, he was wearing a cloak covered in stats and crescent moon's seriously? What?Did it forget to change out of his pj's? Danny thought. "hmm... interesting" it said staring intently at Danny running his (was it a boy or a Girl? It had a beard so he was going with boy) through his beard "courage, curiosity and a refusal to back-down.... yes, you will do very nicely young man, by the way, what is your name?" He asked Danny blinked. Yeah,I'm losing it, talking horses, next I'll be in hospital in a straitjacket as a psychologist asks me stupid questions.

            Despite those thoughts racing around in his head he answered," Danny, sir" he didn't really know why he was calling the unicorn 'sir' after all he had just met him, but the unicorn radiated an aura of power and respect. And, Danny gave respect only to those who deserved it, and this unicorn, for whatever reason, deserved respect. The unicorn's smile widened, he reminded Danny of his grandfather, kind, understanding and wise, the thought of his grandfather threatened to reduce him to tears, but Danny sucked it up and wiped his eyes.

            "Respect as well, you are a curious young man, you remind me of Arthur," the unicorn smiled at him sadly "he was your uncle was he not?"Danny didn't know what to do, for the first time since his grandfather died Danny felt like there is someone who understood how he felt or even really cared. His parents were more interested in Andrew than their juvenile delinquent son Danny, who got in to fight's every other day, argued with the teachers and got kicked out of school six times, mostly for fighting and also for disrespect.

  "What ... what do you want?" Danny croaked his throat felt like it was closing up, his eye's were stinging and tears threatened to spill. But he wasn't going to start crying like bumbling idiot, not in front of the only person in the world who respected him at the moment. He wiped his face with his hand, trying to make it look like he was confused or tired or something. He didn't think it worked the unicorn's smile looked a little to understanding.

            "crying is nothing to be ashamed of, running away from your problem's or trying to pretend they don't exist is.", he said quietly. Immediately Danny felt guilty that's what he had been doing his whole life, acting like he didn't care about anything or anyone, immediately getting into a fight whenever a bully teased him or Andrew. The unicorn smiled "if you come with me you might be able to fix your problems," and with that the unicorn turned away and summoned a portal with a blast of light. The unicorn turned to face him again, you could solve your problems now you know," he told him in a calm voice not urging hum to ignore or listen, "whatever choice you make right now you can change your life,"

         Danny stared at him, "but didn't you just say you say you shouldn't run away from your problems?" he asked confused. The unicorn smiled surveying him like a grandfather would do with his favorite grandson

"You truly are an intelligent boy, if anything your uncle understated your intelligence! And, no boy, if you choose to go through this portal it shall not purged you of hardship or responsibility it will simply give a chance to amount to something greater. But be warned the hardships you shall face if you choose this new life will be far greater than the one you are living now, there will be much more to lose, and to gain. You could have a new family and friends you could change your life and the lives of other for the better. So what do you choose?"

What do you choose? the words rang in Danny head over and over again as if someone put a recording. Danny closed his eyes, and took a deep breath and then stepped forward. "I choose a new life" he said as bravely as he could. The unicorn's eye's shone with pride. The light on his horn shown until he was consumed by a light blue aura "So let it be written so let it be done" he said as he and Danny disappeared into the light.

  Danny was being catapulted through ... well through something! He didn't know what was happening he was surrounded by a light-blue energy shaped in a tube that could fit a kid six times his size. so ... what? I'm just going to fly in this thing forever? and then a speck of green appeared, a way out! "oh, crap, I should have been more careful about what I wished for!" At this speed he'd splatter on impact! why me? What did I do to deserve this? he thought in despair. well, I guess I got a couple more minutes to live so I'd better get started on my will. Then the pink tunnel disappeared and he slammed hard into the ground and ( [because of the speed he was traveling,/i] he thought) bounced off then struck a tree and passed out.

When Danny finally came too he went to a stream for fresh water, he walked on all fours with put even realizing it, he was going to cup it in his hands and drink when he realized he didn't have hands! He was  blue with a dark sea green mane with a silver streak  and just one toe. And, he also just then realized he had a large muzzle, a mane and, "A horn cool, whoa, what the hell?" in his excitement his wing's had extended to their full length unfolded and all. "I've got WINGS! but they're  not right size to get off the ground!" his ear dropped as well as  his wings. But wait! I have feathered wings and a horn even though there to small in my universe as far as I know this could be another universe were the laws of physics are slightly different!  Danny smirked extending his wing's  and ... take off! He beats his wing's as fast as he  could easily pushing of the  ground and into the air "Whoa! this is awesome!" he cried as he zoomed around at greater and greater speed it was surprising easy but, then he studies the laws of physic's so he knew exactly how to fly by beating his wing and the physics were slightly different so he supposed it took less for in this world to get in the air then it did in his world. Whatever the case it was the best moment of his life! He went faster and faster until, BOOM! a light sea green wave tinged with silver.
