From Person To Pegasus

Ian stood against the tough wall of the old warehouse. he watched the cars whiz by in front of him. Ian was a skinny teen with messy black hair with an odd streak of white. Across the street he could see a family walking together towards the local diner. They were laughing and smiling, enjoying each other's company. Ian sighed. He once had both a mom and a dad. Life was wonderful until that day.

Ian was 12 years old. Ian and his parents were on a hiking trip. They decided to rest on the way. Suddenly , a storm hit. They didn't worry because it was just a light rain. Other people were around as well, withstanding the rain. Suddenly, A brilliant light as well as a loud boom occured. Ian woke up in a brightly lit room. It took only moments for him to figure out he was in a hospital bed.

Later that day Ian was informed that he and his parents were struck by lightning. He was also informed that he had lost his parents due to that. Ever since then, he lived in a orphanage with a couple of kids. It was only just last year when all the children except him were adopted.

Ian decided he should get back to the Jefferson Orphanage. Suddenly, he heard what sounded like someone calling to him. "Ian...." Ian turned around. The sound appeared to be coming from the warehouse. Ian curiously followed the noise into the warehouse. "Hello?" shouted Ian, only being answered by an echo. Out of nowhere, a bright light appeared. Ian soon found himself getting pulled to hit like a magnet. It was a matter of time before he was sucked in.
