She was planning to do some renovations to their club house as it had started to fall apart. She was gonna update most of it but not all of it. She walked through the gleaming path of trees to the small CMC club house. The club house had once belong to her older sister, Applejack but now she had it. She had been the one to make it look like it is now as before it had been grey and was falling apart. She grabbed her hammer from the small saddle bags on her back. The hammer was red with a imprint of a zap apple. She smiled and darted at the treehouse, she twirled around it and within minutes was it done. The windows had been upgraded, the wood was stronger and the colors were more vivid. She smiled at her handiwork and didn't notice when her flank shined at the arrival of her cutie mark. The flank stopped shinning to reveal a hammer and nail. She bounced back along the path then paused at the realization of her flank now processing it's mark. She beamed with joy and began thinking who should she tell first. She giggled and bounced to the apple family barn to tell her sister after deciding. ''Big sis! Applejack!'' ''Applebloom?'' asked Applejack as she walked over to her cream colored sister. The orange earth pony had a puzzled expression on. ''Look! My cutie mark!'' yelled the earth pony filly, turning around and showed her flank to her big sister. ''Where's your apple mark?!'' demanded Applejack without thinking, after seeing the apple less flank. ''Big sis?.....'' asked Applebloom, quietly in a worried tone. ''Leave! Your not a apple....your not my sister...'' Applejack frowned as she turned away from her 'sister' and walked off to the barn leaving poor Applebloom to break down and cry. Rain hammered down as the now disowned Applebloom walked along the empty street of Ponyville with her bow loose and drooped. Her mane appeared deflect too and was a darker color, very much like her coat. Tears dripped from her orange eyes as she wondered what to do. She looked back at the barn where she had been only a few minutes ago but then at the empty, soaking wet street in front of her. She came across the fountain which wasn't far from the town hall and hopped onto it. She laid there for god knows how long till a voice caught her attention. ''Applebloom?'' It was a filly's voice and one she recognized. She looked up to see a marshmellow coated filly with a double colored mane with her older sister. It was Sweetie Belle and Rarity and they were obviously out getting fabrics and crayons and other creative stuff. ''What's wrong?'' asked Sweetie Belle to her friend. ''.....Nothing...'' mumbled Applebloom, not wanting her friend to know. ''I can see that that's not true.'' The unicorn looked at her sister, who nodded in answer to the silent question. Sweetie Belle smiled and stepped away from her big sister and towards her earth pony friend. ''Tell me what's wrong, Applebloom. I wanna help.'' said Sweetie Belle with a kind voice. ''....'' Applebloom didn't say anything in repay to the kind voice. ''Rarity, can we take her to the boutique, she can't stay out here.'' ''Okay, Sweetie.'' ''Come on, Applebloom.'' She helped the young Apple up to her hooves and began leading her to the boutique which was also Rarity's home and Sweetie's home when her parents would go on trips and send her to live with Rarity. The pair slowly brought the depressed filly inside the warm clothing shop. That's when they noticed that Applebloom was soaking wet and had her tail covering her dripping flank. ''Come here, little one. Let's get you wrapped in the towels and dry you off. Oh and rub your hooves, darling.'' Applebloom obeyed with rejection, rubbing her muddy hooves on the welcome mat before trotting forward to the fashionista. She was still darker in tone then she normally was and it was worrying Rarity and Sweetie Belle. Rarity used her magic to grab some towels and carefully wiped the filly dry but even that didn't change her color tone. Her eyes were drenched with tears and they were red. Rarity, while, drying the earth pony saw the mark on the young filly's flank. ''Your cutie mark, Applebloom?'' Applebloom stayed silent as Sweetie Belle gasped. ''Let me see it! Let me see it!'' said the filly unicorn as she bounced up and down. Rarity carefully showed her little sister, being careful to not brother Applebloom. Sweetie smiled brightly. ''Congratulatory, Applebloom. Doesn't Applejack know?'' Applebloom froze and began tearing up again, abusing her cheeks even more. Sweetie Belle's face turned to worry. ''D-did I say something wrong?'' ''Did something happen between you and Applejack, Applebloom.'' asked Rarity, getting the gist of it. ''....Yea...'' mumbled the earth pony. ''Tell us.'' ''....I...'' Applebloom soon was telling them what had happened as they listen carefully. Back at the barn, Applejack was bucking some trees but couldn't get her mind off her sister. She soon stopped and thought about what she had said to the filly who had simply earned her cutie mark, something the foal had been waiting for, for quite some time now. Her eyes watered despite her efforts to stop them. ''Applebloom, I'm sorry.....'' mumbled AJ to herself, knowing her little sister couldn't hear her. The orange earth pony cried as she stood her, trying to keep herself strong. She ran forward in search for the sister she had disowned for no reason. She wanted to say 'sorry' even if she wasn't forgiven. The first place she headed to was Rarity's boutique because she knew that Sweetie was staying with Rarity now and if Applebloom had anywhere to go, it would be to her friend. ''Oh, you poor thing.'' said Rarity, dramatically before continuing. ''Though, I can't believe Applejack said that.'' ''...I can't believe it...either but...that's what she said...'' said Applebloom with more tears falling from her much abused eyes. ''I'm...Sorry...Applebloom...That...that happened to...you...'' mumbled Sweetie Belle. Soon after, a the sound of quickly getting closer hooves clattered outside. A burst of air entered the formerly warm boutique when the doors slammed open to reveal a crying orange earth pony. ''Apple...jack...'' mumbled Applebloom, looking at her older sister. ''Applebloom....I'm sorry, I...shouldn't had said that....you earned your mark...and I was just out of it.....I'm sorry!'' ''Apple..jack...'' Applebloom smiled as tears of joy dripped down her face and off her muzzle. She bolted over to her sister and hugged her. Applejack, taken by surprise, wrapped her hooves around her cream sister and cried tears of joy and happiness. The two sisters stayed like that for a good while with Sweetie Belle and Rarity watching with a smile on their face.
