Scar, a three meter Manticore with meter long wings and 4 meter long scorpion tail, paroled the edge's of his old territory sniffing the air. Blood. He thought blood mean's meat. Meat mean's food Scar had lost his territory to an older more powerful male, now he lived on the outskirts of his own territory scavenging. . He followed the scent to the forest, away from his old territory but still dangerous. close. He came to a clearing where a pack of Timber Wolves were draining a carcass,Timber wolves were pack hunters they consumed their prey by using a large root that protrudes from the mouth to drain the blood from their victims. He roared loudly rushing into the clearing
The Timber wolf's turned and growled at him, it's mouth foaming with tree sap. They barked and growled at him, Scar roared back, one of the biggest wolf's approached him snarling. the alpha male, he thought. If I take him down then the other will back down! And with that he swung his paw as fast as he could smashing into the side of the wolf, crushing the right led bone to splinters, and crushing the side chest. The wolf fell on the flow half-dead, the rest of the wolf's scampered off. He walked up to the carcass, it looked like a cross between a cragidile, some mammalian carnivore like an Ursa Major and an ape, and began to strip the meat off it's bones. Because the wolves don't actually rip pieces's of meat of,( they simply extend a long fat root from it's mouth and use it to slowly drain the blood) Scar despite being nearly three-times the size of it can survive by scavenging from them.
One young reckless male crept up to the carcass extending a long fat root-like tongue to drain blood, unfortunately for it Scar noticed. He roared a swung his paw so fast it smashing the wolf's jaw's, the wolf fell over, dead. And Scar turned his attention back to the carcass, this might be his last meal in days, it certainly was his first, Scar was roughly the same length as the carcass but he was much more heavily built. I must find a new territory. Scar thought licking the blood from his muzzle. He then searched for the cave he had been residing with since he had lost his territory to that Chimera....
Scar closed his eye's In the morning I will challenged the the top preaditor for his/her territory. But for now he will sleep, until morning that is. Soon Scar was fast asleep. A Jakalope hopped into the cave, Jakalope's are omnivore's they can eat what ever is available. This one obviously came to forage for insect's and small tuft's of grass that grew at the very edges of the cave, here the sunlight actually hit the plant's and some soil was apparent. So it carelessly nibbled away at the plant's.
Sunlight stuck Scar's face, he blinked and saw a small rabbit like animal nibbling off the plant's growing on the edge's of the cave.He slowly stood up and tensed ready to leap, Wait! what he hell am I doing? just use the scorpion tail! and then their was a blur of movement as Scar swung his scorpion tail and struck the jackalope sending it flying and slamming into the walls of the cave. Then he quickly pounced upon the the dead omnivore and tore it apart ripping off it's limbs and crushing it's bones, soon their was nothing left except a pile of fur and crushed bones. Scar licked his blood stained muzzle, then he got up and walked out of the cave.
Scar headed for a stream, their he drank the cold clean water, Scar lifter his wing's above the water creating a large shadow. Fish swam near and in the shadow, then Scar thrust's his jaws into the water and pulled out a fish. The aquatic,streamlined vertebrata squirmed in Scar's jaws. He then crushed the fish and ripped it apart, ripping and chewing pieces of it. In one minute their was nothing left except a couple crushed bones and a few scattered vertebra.
Scar licked his blood stained muzzle and walked away, despite those snack's he was still very hungry. Their got to be one god damned vampire fruit-bat only here some where! he thought angrily, he strolled into a clearing where a changeling was eating a jackalope.Dinner at last! he thought and with that he roared and leaped at the changeling. It looked up in time to see a Manticore running toward it at 30 mph, because it was hive-less it couldn't perform any magic ( nor could it fly) and so I tried to run but tripped over the jackalope. By the time it got up the Manticore was only a meter from it. Scar bit through the back of the changeling damaging it's spine and paralyzing it, Scar then tore apart the stomach of the changling. It tasted disgusting, even worse then a really old carcass but he choked it down, [i ]I need all the strength I can get! he thought. Because he was certain of one thing. next morning he was going to take back his territory!
The Manticore approached the border's of it's old territory sniffing the tree's, the scent of that damned chimera was still their! That damned she-demon! I'll tear off her scull! He thought savagely. As the scent of the Chimera grew stronger and stronger by the minute, Today is the end, one way or another this will be the end. [Scar thought I'll make sure of that! He then roared at the top of his lung's, a unearthly demonic sound that carried for miles, even reaching ponyvile.
Applejack and her sister, Apple bloom were picking apples when a roar ripped through the calm demeanor of ponyvile. With it came fear and desperation. Applejack motioned to her sister to go inside, as if too afraid to say the wards aloud. Applejack, Big Mac, Granny Smith and Apple Bloom were all soon hiding behind the barricaded door's of the farm. Rarity was walking home with several bag's of something ( presumably clothing material) when a roar echoed from the Everfree-Forest caused her to stop dead in her tracks. She dropped her bag's and fainted on the spot. Twilight and Spike were walking out of the tree house with a large bag of bits when a blood curling roar caused then to freeze, Spike dropped the bag of bits and raced back inside where twilight put up a magical force field.
Silence. That is what followed the epic roar. Deadly silence, Scar and ran through the forest and now crossed path with a three meter chimera. It's time to settle the score! He charged at the chimera, who leaped up to intercept the charge. Scar pushed of her and hit the floor, their was a flash of green then a spurt of blood. The chimera's snake tail tried to bite the Manticore as it did before, but failed, and Scar had torn off the snakes lower jaw. The chimera oped it jaws at a snake like degree showing off it's saber teeth, it was trying to drive then into Scar's neck but he was ready he swung his paw snapping both saber's off. Then the goat head rammed i't's head into the Manticore's chest, or at least, it tried to. Before it could do that Scar had gotten a hold of the goat's head and using it's strength plus the strength of the charge, snapped the goat's neck.
The chimera immediately backed away growling at Scar, then it turned and scampered away. I did it. Scar thought I DID IT! And with he opened his mouth and roared as loud as he could, he had won. This territory was his once more.
