Basic History of Equestria

The last thing Twilight remembered was the feeling of magic running through her veins before being teleported to this unknown place.  She had awoken that day in hopes of it being evil creature free and malice free only to be greeted by Rarity and all her other friends doing things that they were not meant to do. From Fluttershy trying to entertain people to Rainbow Dash doing her best to tame wild creatures. What was suppose to be a normal day was now becoming a day  that would never be forgotten.  It wasn't long before those strange things happened that a message was given to her by Princess Celestia herself to fix a spell that Star Swirl, her idol, could not do. Before she knew it, in the fixing of the spell, she was here. In this starry, blue lit place that had nothing to it but the shimmering of is seemingly white flakes.  "Hello? Is anybody here?" Twilight yelled out into the distance. 'Where am I?' she asked herself. "Why if it isn't my faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. Congratulations, I knew you could do it." Twilight glanced over to see Princess Celestia in all her regal glory. "Celestia!" Twilight walked over to her teacher and hugged her.  Twilight was unsure of what was going on but Celestia calmed her thoughts. "You've done something that not even a great wizard like Star Swirl could do because he did not understand friendship like you did. Your lessons have taught you well Twilight. You have proven that you're ready."

"Ready for what?" Celestia guided Twilight down the starry path and moving images of Twilight's journey appeared before them. "Twilight, do you know where you are at right now?" Twilight looked at her confused. "No, I really don't....AM I'M DEAD?!!" Twilight said in immediate panic. Celestia chuckled. "No Twilight you are in another realm. Welcome to the place far above Equestria, the Starry Plane of Elysian."

"The starry plane of Elysian?"

"Yes Twilight, this place is the entry way to where the great goddess lives. These images of you and you being sent here was no accident nor my own doing but her's. She decides who will be next, she decides who will rise above and take their place as the next representative of harmony."

"I don't understand princess...what are you trying to say?"

"Perhaps an explanation is in order." Celestia's horned glowed and another moving image appeared, this time, in front of them. It was stylized in classic old drawings. "Before we came, before the world came, there was one pony who lived before us and had the great power to create. Our world came about in her desire to make what she wished real and create a land built upon her thoughts and ideas and lessons. The power to create is something that she only has the power to do but she was no god. To create merely something any one can do, but to create a living functioning planet, that was another story."

"What happened?"

"The great goddess used every single bit of her power to create this world out of an existing one.  She created all that we see Twilight, the ponies, the pegasi, this realm, you and me. No one knows fully of what happened to her. Some say she moved on to create other worlds, others state that she watches silently above, some may even say that she lies in deep slumber but a single fact lays certain, her conscious still lives on in the form of an avatar so that she may always be with us. Our mother mare, the great goddess Faust." She is also the ancestor to all natural born alicorns. Alicorns are the natural representation of harmony but shall a another pony prove that they can represent said harmony in a different form or way, they are given a higher standard to their importance.

"If she bought me here and based on what you explained, does that mean that I am now more important?" Twilight said trying to understand. Celestia smiled at her student."All ponies are important Twilight but you are about to reach out to something greater and will soon your influence shall spread to not just the simple confines of Ponyville but all of Equestria." Celestia and Twilight felt a soft shaking of what was supposedly the ground and before their eyes was a grand staircase beaming with light appeared. It had a red carpet extending down the stairs which seemed to be leading to somewhere further up. Celestia looked to her student. "Now Twilight, she waits." Twilight unsure of herself glanced at the staircase than back at her mentor only to be given a silent reassuring nod. She let out a deep breath and  trotted up the grand stairs as Celestia looked on. When Twlight reached the top she noticed that she was in a large building reminiscent of a temple. She looked outside the large windows which showed the clear blue sky outside and took note of her surroundings. The huge columns were made out of luxuries marble and the ceiling told events of everything that had happened in the history of Equestria. She even recognized a few faces such as Star Swirl and Discord. The entry way, which was the hole she stepped through and led back down to the starry plane, closed up behind her causing her to worry a bit. She begun to walk down the long red carpet. Twilight could see the intricate details of every mosaic and sparkling marble of the floor and columns.

As she walked down the long bright hall and carpet she was stopped in her tracks by a majestic and over powerful sight. In front of her was a throne that shined in pure marble and gold. There was a circular wave of magical energy that flowed around the bottom and top of the throne in the color of red and sat upon that throne was a great mare that she herself could not fathom. The pony was tall and bigger than a stallion and had many wings. Her hair flowed to the side like that of Luna's and Celestia's but was a simple color of brunette. Her eyes glowed a deep white like that of Luna when she got angry. she was surely a sight to behold. Twilight bowed down before the mare as she suspected that this had to be the creator of her world. The mare smiled gently and raised her head up high gathering magic that at Twilight herself could feel. her horn glowed brightly with a golden hue and her mane lifted behind her head. Twilight was not sure what was to happen and shook nervously. The mare looked at Twilight again and shot her magic at her causing Twilight to be lifted into the air by swirling blurs of magic and in a flash she was gone. Back to Ponyville that was as Twilight showed off her new pair of wings as her friends looked about her in 'aw'. They were soon accompanied by Celestia herself.
