Hate to do this, but I've put this story on hiatus as I continue to rewrite the first half in an attempt to make my horrifying mistakes go away somewhere far away and very dark to die. Any further updates have been shelved for the duration though I plan to keep writing them as I go, but I'm holding off on publishing until I'm sure I'm not drastically changing too much.

Hated and respected, feared and abused, all words that described Redemit, an intelligent human in a land where humans were just another domesticated animal, until the day the world was buried in death. Now he and his handler, Vine Bloom, are the two sole survivors, running from their past and the nightmarish experiences they both shared. Thrust into another world, a bright place of joy and innocence, forced to adapt. Redemit has a hard road before him, satisfying his Queen's last order; to 'live' when he wants nothing more than to see his handler happy and his own existence at an end.

But if he succeeds, what then? Will he choose to run away from it all? Or will he build something beautiful? These are the chapters of his journey. To Redemption, or Damnation, only time will tell.

Loosely based off of Mad Max's storyverse, understanding of that universe will definitely bolster immersion in this one as well.
