20 years has passed since the division of Equestria and the creation of two colonies: The Solar Empire and The Lunar Republic. Equestria has become a dangerous, poverty-stricken land, the power of the Elements of Harmony was forgotten, and life has gotten harder for everypony. The ponyfolk who knew what time was life before the division wish for things to return the way it was before. Even if the ponies have forgotten their grudges and disputes against one another, nothing will change as long as the Princesses don't forgive each other.
Amidst the disharmony is a young stallion from The Lunar Republic. He is used to living on his own and on the streets, but he is also ready for some change.
