the adventures of shadow charm

It has been 10 years since my brothers death. A few days ago i came across ponyville. Hopefully sombra will not find me. I was walking around when I was hit with a random pink blurr. By the time I regained the ability to move i saw a pink pony in front of me. She looked exetremely exited to see me.

"Who the heck are you?" I asked as i got up.

"My name is pinkie pie." She said sounding slightly more exited. "I came to welcome you to ponyville!"

"Warn me next time, ok?" I said walking away. She shruged and vanished as quick as she showed up. I found an area to set up camp. It was an empty area by the time I set up my tent pinkie allready found me. She brought 2 of her friends with her. One of them was a blue pegasus, the other was a purple-ish unicorn.

"Hello again!" Pinkie pie said to me. "Wait a minute, what is your name?" She asked me with a puzzled look.

"My name is shadow charm. You can call me shadow." I told her seeing the 2 other ponies aproach us. "Who are they?"

"These are my friends, rainbow dash and twilight." Pinkie said pointing at them. "They wanted to meet you."

"Nice to met ya shadow." Rainbow dash said noticing something in the cloak i was wearing. "What's that?" She asked me pointing at the book she saw in my cloak. I used my magic to hold the book. On it was a picture of a red gem carved into the shape of a sword.

"It's a spell book. I found it in some ruins." I told rainbow dash in a depresed tone. "It was a horrible day i don't want to remember."

"What happened?" Twilight asked while her and rainbow dash prepared to hear a long treasure hunting story.

"I was only 8 when it happened." I began putting the book back in my cloak. "After I found the book I tried to use a teleportation spell in it to return home with my older brother, granite edge. The spell malfunctioned sending me and granite to a forest. Someone attaked us. I survived the attack. My brother, wasn't so lucky.  If only he could have escaped."

"Why couldn't he escape?" assked twilight.

"he gave up his magic to save me when i was born." i looked around and saw that the sun was almost set. "it's starting to get late, you should head home." I turned towards the tent and entered it.
