Knights of Harmony

Celestia looked over her six knights as each of them came in the room, Twilight encouraging them all to bow to her again. It'd been about a week since their dragoness mission, and she was finally ready to send them off again. "Alright everyone. I feel like I should ask this now before I ask you to leave again. Is everyone feeling better after their last mission?" she asked.

"About as better as we can be, I suppose." Rarity sighed.

"All good here!" Pinkie cheered, giving a thumbs-up.

"... Well, it doesn't hurt anymore." Twilight admitted, blushing a bit when Celestia smiled at that.

"Yeah, no puny thing like that'll keep me down!" Dash said, striking her fist into her palm.

"A bit better, I guess. Not sore no more." AJ shrugged.

"Y-Yes, thank you for asking." Fluttershy said, one of the only ones bowing again.

"Alright, then if you don't mind, I do have another task for you." Celestia said with a nod.

"It doesn't involve Dragonesses again, does it?" Rarity asked. Celestia shook her head and she sighed in relief.

"This is much simpler. I simply want you to deal with some thieves who've been plaguing the roads between the castle and the next town. They're constantly on the move, so none of the roads are safe. They've been taking everything they can from their victims." Celestia explained.

"Well that's not nice at all! ...... Wait, do we get a share of whatever they've stolen when we beat them?" Pinkie asked after a moment, blinking.

"Pinkie what could we need? We live in a castle and have everything brought to us." Dash asked her.

"Sounds like an easy job, yer highness." AJ shrugged. "I say no problem."

"Yeah, but maybe they've stolen some cool magic weapons! Like a staff or spear!" Pinkie smiled. Twilight blinked before glancing at AJ, noticing both their weapons.

"I do hope this won't be as much trouble for you as last time." Celestia nodded in agreement. "Still, because they've always been on the move, and we're not sure where they're hiding, we believe the best way to look for them would be for you all to split up and search the roads in pairs."

AJ glanced back at Twi, before shaking her head.

"Right, no problem, Princess! You can count on us!" Dash said, smirking.

"Alright then. Now we should think carefully about how we split up. We should pair everyone with their best match." Twilight said.

"I CALL TWILIGHT!" Pinkie cheered, coming over and putting an arm around her.

"Wait, what?!"

"Then I think I should stay with Fluttershy. She needs more protection." AJ said, smiling at Fluttershy and holding her hand. Dash's jaw dropped and she stared.

"B-But that means I'm stuck with..."

"You can't POSSIBLY expect me to travel with that ruffian!" Rarity said back, staring as well.

"Oh my God, I can hear the high pitched shrill in her voice already." Dash groaned, facepalming.

"Ugh, I should've packed a spare change of outfits for this excursion." Rarity sighed.

"Whatever! Look, let's just go check on the roads already!" Twilight said, throwing her arms up and groaning as Pinkie happily bounced beside her, holding her hand.

"Fine." all of them sighed, following her out.

The six of them soon split off and each took a different road towards the town. However, as Applejack and Fluttershy began traveling down their path, several figures began to watch and tail them from the surrounding woods.

AJ and Fluttershy noticed nothing, only expecting something to attack them from the front. "We haven't seen nothing yet. Maybe they ain't on this road." AJ muttered.

Suddenly, a pair of nets flew at them from out of the trees on both sides, several figures running after to grab them once they were caught.

"Goddammit, Goddammit, GODDAMMIT! WHY?!" AJ growled, struggling while Fluttershy squealed, trying to squirm out of the net.

Fluttershy sighed in relief, while AJ fought not to do the same.

The two remaining thugs were ready to pick a fight now, and both charged right at her.

AJ grabbed them both, throwing one straight THROUGH the wall and grabbing the other, lifting him off his feet and slamming him into the floor, making the wood splinter

Both were out cold immediately and Pinkie stared at her. "Wow.... she's really mad." Pinkie said before leaning to Fluttershy. "Is it her time of the month?" she whispered.

"No, but don't question it Pinkie." Fluttershy whispered back. "C'mon, let's go." she added, walking to AJ.

"Okie Dokie Lokie!" Pinkie cheered, bouncing after them.
