Loyalty

Another realm I had yet to discover. I searched the area for somepony, and sompony I had found! But.. I was surrounded by fillies. I looked to my right. Butch and his friend were in a racing stance, about to take flight. Ahead of me, Fluttershy was on a cloud, a flag in her mouth. She was a filly as well. I was confused for a bit, but all of a sudden I realized... I was a filly too! I had been sent to the past, it seems. The yellow pegasus waved the flag, and the signal was sent.

I dashed off of the white puff, spinning the pony out of the sky. I haven't felt this rush in years! I missed being a filly so much. The first boy plundered into a cloud pillar. I stuck my tongue out at him; that's what he gets for thinking he could beat me! Butch was still in the race, though. He bumped into me, crashing me out of course. "Hey!," I shouted, trying to keep up. I had finally got beside him, and I wanted to do more than push him. My wing slapped onto him, making him spin round and round, off the track. I grinned, my adorable face beaming. The rush, the adrenaline, I loved it so much! Barely inches from the ground, I pushed back up. A Sonic Rainboom blasted, filling the sky with gorgeous colors.

Suddenly, I had transformed into my original size in the middle of flight. The date had changed to the day when the 'Young Flyer's competition' was being held. Was there a hidden message behind all this time traveling? Was there a lesson to be learned? I was in the middle of the cloud stadium. Everyponies' eyes focused on me. Cheering of thousands of pegasi filled the arena, I could barely hear the voices of my closest friends. This is the past, so it wasn't any use to talk to my buddies. My wings propelled me upwards, catching up to Rarity. In a matter of seconds, her wings were incinerated. She was falling towards the hard ground, and in no time, she'd be a goner. I was prepared to save her, because I knew what all would happen. The corners of my mouth stayed up close to my ears. I smiled, enjoying the past as long as I could. Although, my friends were so terrified, they could just jump out of their skin! But I was not worried at all! In the knick of time, I caught the Wonderbolts and Rarity before their ultimate deaths. My second Sonic Rainboom caught the attention of everyone, including the princess. Bliss filled my head; there was nothing that the mare Rainbow Dash couldn't do!
