Birthday WishesView OnlineMy Little Short Stories: Tales of Friendship and Love.Birthday Wishes~ Hello darkness my old friend., I hope to have to never see you again. ~ Fluttershy sat alone in the darkness of her cottage sitting at the kitchen table her blue hues staring towards a single empty plate before her. Sighing aloud she brushed pink bangs away from her eyes., Never showing much emotion she just bit her lower lip and stood up walking swiftly to her window peeking out it. In the distance she could make out Rainbow Dashes' wild party everypony there enjoying festive music, sweets and food of every kind. All were talking or laughing it looked like bliss. It wasn't like she was not invited to the party it was just she had a better place to be at the moment here in her house alone. ~ Why must you creep up on me., Pulling me into the void my soul unable to fly free.~ It was her Birthday today and due to the party to celebrate Rainbow Dashes' One-Hundredth Race victory everypony simply forgot about this. Across the way they laughed not a care in the world mind's free of any thought of her., Why should they care it was her birthday it was simply a dumb day anyways. Sighing aloud she closed the curtains to the outside to lock away the pain she felt inside yet would never show the world. ~ I care not that you drag me down., The tears I cry never making a sound. ~ With the soft sound of her own footsteps echoing around her she walked back to the table once more sitting down staring back to the plate as it taunted her. Looking down she took a deep breath biting her lower lip in silence tears slowly rolling down her cheeks., They would never see her cry. Yet gently a hoof rubbed her shoulder causing her to leap up softly turning around seeing Pinkie Pie holding a Pink Present in hoof smiling sweetly. ~ Though darkness tries to hold me down., You'll always be there to make sure I don't drown.~ Tears stained her eyes staring to her friend in shock her heart racing inside her chest., Lower lip quivering she couldn't think of anything to say. Pinkie Pie simply hugged her tightly her spare hoof wiping away the tears before placing the present down on the table beside the lone plate. Opening the small box before her., Fluttershy could make out a single Cupcake decorated in sparkling Pink frosting and colorful sprinkles of all kinds. Both ponies sat down the darkness in the room making it hard to see around them as the sun set from outside music from across the way filling the room. ~ You are my friend so innocent so true., And for your love this I thank you.~ The room suddenly lit up more as a flame appeared atop an orange colored wick., In her hoof Pinkie Pie held a small candle lit by a bright blue flame. Leaning over she placed the candle atop the cupcake with a giggle., Fluttershy could do nothing more but just smile. She knew her friend wanted her to make a wish., but in her heart she knew Pinkie Pie had already granted it. Author's Note Came up with this small Fic a while back. Everytime I shared it I got a good reaction yet always wanted to share it here so please enjoy this small sweet fic.
Night and Day.View OnlineMy Little Short Stories: Tales of Friendship and Love.Night and Day.Princess Celestia was on the brink from the darkness that was growing within her little sister Luna., a darkness she knew she could not save her from. But she could not let Luna fade away she knew somehow she had to catch her after she had fallen., her mind was hazy but she knew in her heart she had to fight back. But a life without her sisters' love it frightened her never had she been alone or had she? It was harder to remember the good times now they were fading., memories were turning to blotches in her mind. Sliding in through the open door to her sisters' chambers' she sighed aloud her mane gently flowing in the cool draft of the room chilling her to her very soul. In the dark she could see Luna asleep in her bed where she once dreamed about all the times they shared together all the fun and... Her mind was running blank once more is this what it would be like once she was gone? Would she simply lose her? After all they had together? A single tear running down her cheek she leaned in towards her lovely little sister eyes casting a tender glow upon her before she whispered into her ear a sweet nothing. ~ What is normal in a world that changes all the time? What is hate behind the smiling faces? Am I forgotten my face blurred from your mind? Or am I the disgust to you by my imperfections? I tried to reach you and screamed for help. Yet all I see is nothing in your eyes. I can feel myself fading away. Our love escaping day by day. When I'm gone from your heart. Remember this hidden kiss we shared before we part. ~ With those words she kissed Lunas' forehead ever so softly her body aching with the pain her soul felt deep within. she did not see a single tear dropping onto her sisters cheek gently before Luna smiled in her sleep. With that Celestia was on her way she walked outside the room once more into the cold night the air was toxic and she felt ever so lightheaded. The world spun faster and faster she couldn't stand anymore falling to the ground with a thud with some work she had managed to make her way back into her chambers before fading into darkness. Hours would pass before she would wake to a throbbing headache. Wincing she held a hoof to her head why had she been dreaming of her lost sister again? Was it a sign that the chosen pony would be able to show her the light she had failed to show her herself? After all this time a thousand years was it time her sister came home? Slowly it was coming back to her all the memories of the past she had hidden deep within her mind for so long., would she at long last be able to save her sister from the darkness that infected her heart? Tears forming in her eyes she remembered the laugh and smile of the little piece of her heart she had lost so long ago. For a second she thought she could remember their bond when it was strong. Before her memories could drown her again a scroll suddenly flashed before her in a sparkling green light., opening the scroll she read from her beloved student Twilight Sparkle about a concern that the Nightmare Moon would soon return. Smiling to herself she knew the moment she had waited for so long had at long last arrived penning her reply she knew if Luna would ever see the light the young pony Twilight would need help. From friendship and love that would help shape her destiny. And bring peace to the hole in her own heart. Author's Note Last but not least I had wrote this small fic as a what -if to the opening of the first episode of MLP:FiM. Since at the end of the episode it seemed as if Celestia had known Twilight would be able to save Luna from the darkness.
DuskView OnlineMy Little Short Stories: Tales of Friendship and Love.DuskThe sky above was turning a Dark Orange color clouds wafted across high above lazily with no destination merely dancing across the sky to music of nature. Spike sat alone on top of a large boulder that had rolled off a nearby hilltop and toppled down into the empty valley below. Alone with his thoughts he spent most of his time thinking about her., A sweet pony who spoke her mind and was never afraid to stand up for what was right. Her long Violet mane always in an elegant wavy style sparkling in the sunlight., Dark Blue hues that had a light within them that would shine for miles she was indeed special. Though he noticed her she never took a second glance at him but how could he blame her for that?., He kept to himself most of the time silently watching her Graceful movements and enjoying the sound of her lovely voice. Staring up to the orange-colored sky above he laid back on the large boulder to get a better view., He had always loved Dusk it was silent and calm much like himself. Yet he thought that some would stop with the Challenges' of their day and gaze upon the sky in wonder as if somewhere out there in the world someone else watched it too feeling the same way. He silently thought whether she watched the sunset at dusk as well finding its Beauty Calming and Enchanting., that perhaps maybe through the daily grind of the busy day she allowed her thoughts to fall to him. Sighing he knew better than that she was his secret a distant thought in the back of his mind that echoed out always never leaving., His flash of light in an otherwise dark world. The sun began to fall into the sky once more vanishing just as soon as it had come., Dusk was over the sky slowly became dark and silent stars' gently coming out to dance in the sky above. And just like that the thoughts of her were gone for another day., She was his light she was everything he wished he could have. A Beauty that was untold to most that showered the world in its Heavenly Light day after day yet few would stop to appreciate it., While others would notice it and find its' magic entrancing. A Beauty forced to be hidden and seen by few., A love to never be captured but only once a day shared. Be it a passing smile in town , A simple caress of the hoof across the shoulder or the sharing of a laugh between an inside joke. She was his haunting memory. She was his Dusk. Author's Note This Fic was in truth my First MLP fic to be made so it has a special place to me in my heart. I hope you enjoy this fic I was inspired to write this fic after listening to " Sleepwalk" By Santo and Johnny.
