When the Royal Sisters learn of an alicorn pony in the papers who calls himself the "Lunar Son", they immediately have him brought to the castle, where he acts as if he were at home. Upon meeting him, he introduces himself as Night Shiner, and walks straight up to Luna’s throne stands next to her, startling the two sisters. Soon after Luna finds the moon raised for her, only to find the young colt responsible. Day by day, his behavior progresses, and after some of the events become inexcusable, Celestia calls in the Mane Six. Yet, despite investigating endlessly, all evidence points to one thing: the colt isn't crazy, and the Lunar Son is finally here.
