It was a beautiful Saturday morning. You had eaten breakfast, and you decided to kill some time by rewatching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on Netflix and fangirl over your favorite character: the Master of Chaos himself, Discord.
“That’s odd,” you told yourself when you pulled up Netflix on your Wii. “The episode I was going to watch was taken down. Why’s that?”
Suddenly, threes beams shot out of your television set, one blue, one purple, and one black. They wrapped themselves around you, dragging you toward the monitor. Once you reached the screen, everything went black.

When you came to, you found that a yellow Pegasus was standing near you, her long pink mane hanging just above your face. You recognized her immediately.
“Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked. “I saw you come through a vortex in the middle of Ponyville, and you were unconscious, so I figured it would be best to bring you here and have my friend try to wake you up.”
You looked around and recognized your location as the Friendship Rainbow Castle from the end of “Twilight’s Kingdom.” It was breathtaking to see it in real life.
“Fluttershy, I found that coma-relieving spell that you needed me to cast on the human you found.”
Twilight Sparkle came into the room through one of the many hallways connecting to the room. She was using her magic to levitate what was most likely a spellbook.
“Oh, she’s awake. I guess I won’t need this book,” the princess of friendship sent the book back down the hallway through which she had entered.
“I’ve seen humans before on one of my journeys, but I don’t recognize you. What’s your name?”
“I’m ________, Your Highness.”
The alicorn giggled.
“Thou needest not to be so formal, ________” she joked. “I’m Twilight Sparkle.”
You nodded. You didn’t want to scare Twilight for some reason by saying something along the lines of, “Of course I know who you are. Your life, as well as your friends’, is displayed on more than a bazillion TVs every Saturday back where I come from!”
“How did you get here, anyway? Fluttershy here told me that whatever took you here took you to Ponyville, so you clearly didn’t go through the portal at the Crystal Empire.”
You explained to Twilight and Fluttershy the circumstances through which you had come to Equestria, saying that it was a mirror inside of your TV out of which the light beams had been shot. You were certain, after all, that TVs didn’t exist in Equestria, and you didn’t want to confuse these two ponies.
“I think I might know how this happened. If you’ll excuse me for a second,” the princess trotted out of the room.
You smiled to yourself. You had a pretty good idea of who was behind this as well.

Twilight was trying to cast a spell on the castle balcony. You figured it must be extremely hard to do what you hoped she was doing without the Elements of Harmony. Without warning, what looked like a small tornado made of rainbows appeared in front of the princess. You knew that she had done it. However, when the rainbow tornado thing disappeared, nothing was there. You were disappointed. Twilight collapsed. You quickly ran out to the balcony and tried to carry her back inside. When you turned around, you saw quite the familiar face.
“Hello, ________” Discord said nonchalantly.
You were so surprised, you dropped Twilight. Sure, you knew that Twilight had been trying to summon Discord, but you were still startled seeing the draconequus in real life. Said draconequus noticed Twilight passed out on the floor and snapped his fingers, most likely teleporting her into the castle.
“How… do you know m-my name?” you stammered out in your confusion.
“I’ve been watching you, ________,” Discord smirked. “And I’ve noticed that you liked me. The truth is, I don’t think anyone has ever liked me the way you like me.”
“But what about Fluttershy, or Celestia, or-“
“Bah! Those are the standard school filly shippings.  Not real, not at all.”
“Oh, good,” you responded. You remembered what Twilight had said. “Discord, are you the one who brought me here?”
“Why, yes, as a matter of fact, I did. I’ve grown much… attached to you.”
You were starting to get a little nervous.
“What if he gets amorous and this plays out like a dirty fanfiction?” you asked yourself.
Discord drew closer to your face…
And then you kissed.
