Chapters Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4
After a few years at my school, I thought nothing would happen in my life. I'm Dewy Decimal, and no, I didn't write the library table. You have no idea how many times people used my name against me due to that reason... I've been in Canterlot's School District since kindergarten and I seen crazy things, but NOTHING came closest to the... night of June 16 last year... The Fall Formal. Honestly, I was using the bathroom one minute, then everyone turned into zombies and were being gathered towards the statue... I thought I was dreaming at first. But it was all real, I was seeing Sunset Shimmer turn into a demon and possess everyone at once... It was horrifying I thought that was the end. Then came the Battle of the Bands, God, I can't even BEGIN to describe THAT night... It topped EVERYTHING, even the Fall Formal.
But then came... Afterwards...
"Hey, Dewy." My friend Rainbow Dash said.
I first met her in kindergarten. People would always insult us of being a couple, but we're not. I swear, we're not!
"Hey, Dash. Some school week huh?" I asked.
"Yeah. First some demon thing, and now Greek mythology coming to life?" She added.
"Yeah. I wonder what'll happen now." I said.
As the day went on, everything seemed fine, but then, the MEN came. A gunshot was heard, followed by another. We were under attack. The alarms rang, I grabbed my pencil, ready to use it as a weapon. I followed Rainbow to the nearest classroom where we prepared to defend ourselves.
"Do you know how to shoot?" Rainbow asked.
"Yeah, you?"
"You do realize who you're talking to right? If we get a gun, be ready to use it." She said with the most serious face I've seen her with.
We saw people walk in, luckily they were friends of Rainbow Dash.
"Good lord, are you two okay?!" Applejack asked.
"Yeah, did anyone see you?" I asked.
"No, but they're throwing something in the school halls, some kind of smoke grenade or something." Sunset Shimmer said in fear.
"We gotta get out of here. Let's look-" Rainbow was inturrupted by 2 men walk in and try to fire, but was stopped by a man in his 60s or so.
"Are you kids okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm Dewy Decimal. Who are you?" I asked.
"Dewy Decimal, huh? Did you make the library table?" I rolled my eyes.
"My name's John. But you can call me Price." He said.
"Wait, Captain Price? THE Captain Price?! From WW3?!" Rainbow Dash said starting to prevent a shriek.
"Yeah, but this is worse than that." Price said.
"How?" I asked.
"Hospitals and small towns were hit with a bio weapon. Infecting their minds and grabbing syringes and taking a millimeter of their blood and started injecting them in people. Then in 1 hour, they change, grabbing weapons and making things like firearms from drills, clamps, and nail guns and went on a rampage on military bases, then, they attacked everywhere in a flash. We barely made it out alive."
"So, now what?" I asked.
"We're forming a evac zone for survivors. But-"
"We have an idea!" Sunset said in glee.
"Wait, aren't you-"
"Sunset Shimmer? Yes, but I know where ALL of us can go. The gateway I came in, we can bring people there."
"Well..." Price grabbed his radio.
"Sir, there's been a change in plans. We're bringing people to Equestria. Pack up and start evacuating cities."
"You know Equestria?" I asked.
"We knew it for years. Since World War 2 I think, we've been trying to make peace with Celestia. But she knows what we've done with Rome and all that. Let's hope she changed her mind..." Price said.
So in the end, people were brought to Equestria where we managed to build a peace among our pony friends. But that's not what you're here to hear. You're here to hear the story of Earth's future, in 2020, where Earth has been taken over and is being controlled by what Twilight calls the Sirens or otherwise known as Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk. Equestria has been kind to us and Celestia has begun to forgive our kind, but we need to prove ourselves. Soon if we plan to stay here amy longer
Anyways, I decided to join the Ghosts along with Price due to circumstances. We were ready for our survey when I met a kid my age codenamed 'STORM' who lost his family to THEM and seeks revenge.
"When I find them, I'll pierce them with this blade from my father before he was injected and went mad by this sickness." He says.
As time went on, I thought about how we'll survive on Earth again. They probably used up our resources and can't produce more. Or, they added 'farming' to the new arsenal of powers.
"We'll have to see. Because tomorrow, we're going back. Seeing what happened on our old home." Hesh said.
BACK? After the riots, the assaults, and the claiming, we're going BACK?!
"Why?" I asked.
"I talked to Celestia. Our deal is expiring. Someone's been killing people on both sides and blaming us." Hesh said.
"I can't imagine seeing a man killing a pony or vice versa. But it's been goin' on for a few weeks now." He said again in fear.
I saw the truth. We need to go back, before we die off completely.
Our first mission: See what's left of Earth and take it back.

As I waked towards the Badlands camps, I knew what I saw back in the castle, a man on his knees, begging to stay, pleading to LIVE. Rainbow Dash came from my right.
"Hey, Dewy."
"Hey, Dash," I said.
"Some sights, huh?" She asked.
"Yeah, now that we know what's there, maybe we can live-" I was cut off by Dash.
"LIVE? Our school was in ruins! Imagine the whole world! I doubt we'll ever go back to live there." Dash said it with her voice cracking.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I saw Sunset Shimmer, Dewy. She looked so different. She pointed her gun at me like it was nothing..." Her eyes started to form tears.
"Hey, are you alright? You didn't have to, you know... put her down , did you?" I asked.
She immediately engaged me in a hug.
"Hey, it's okay. You didn't have a choice." I said.
"I know. It's just... I didn't see her make the evacuation zones. She was stuck there. I can't imagine staying there for a DAY! Imagine 2 years of pain and loss. Just because you weren't quick enough. We need to go back and save people, or whoever's left anyway. You saw that man. Pleading just to stay with us!"
We walked through and the scanners proved they were working.
"Name and security number." The scanner said.
"Dewy Decimal, 1022." I said.
The scanner than flickered to life as it opened the gates. Then closing them for Dash. She entered and we watched as another soldier approached.
"Name and security number."
He stood there trying to respond, stammering, then grabbing his gun, but the machine fired first. The corpse then flowed green before changing back into a Changeling.
"That's the fith time this week..." Dash said.
We walked towards the Tower, and saw Celestia talking to Hesh and the other Ghosts via video.
"Okay, so here's the deal, we found ANOTHER Changeling at our gates. If we didn't set up that security system, hundreds of us could've been killed of worse!" Hesh was now past angry.
"We are fully aware of the Changeling's presence, but there's nothing we can do. We can't stop them. Only push them back..." Celestia said.
"You knew they were here. You sent us here to be killed off by them. We heard the messages, you're hiring Changelings to kill us and give us a bad name. People have been reporting you and Chrysalis talking. So what was it about?" Price asked.
"...It was about making a truce between you and them. But we're completely stuck on where we draw the line. Changelings feed on the love of others to survive. That's it. They can't feed off of anyone else, but then, your people showed up." Celestia said.
"You... monster!" A voice in CELESTIA'S backround walked in.
"Twilight! What are you doing here?" A guard asked.
"I heard evey word she said! Look, I know about the murders and I'm hurt, but that does not make right !" Her voice boomed from the video feed, as if she was really in the room with us.
"You don't know what they have done!" Celestia said.
"Yes, I do. When Luna gave me the key to Star Swirl's library, it contained ancient books describing Rome, Greece, and the Dark Ages. But, it also contained the human's great feats, like the Parthenon. Remember the portal? Guess where that lead, look who I met there. These people are not Rome or Greece! They are from another generation like us. We can't go against them anymore! When the sirens get here, they will kill us and them! The Changelings, whatever's left. We need to work together, just this one time!"
Celestia and us stood there in shock, fear, and hope.
"I will look into this." She then walked away.
The screen then flickered and vanished into oblivion.
"Well, now what? We know Celestia and Chrysalis have been meeting, maybe they're planning an attack." I said.
"Or, maybe they are trying to make a truce. We just need to wait this out." Hesh said.
"If the truce is executed, we will be forced to live with the Changelings. Do you want that life?" I asked.
As we were talking, Celestia walked in the room.
"We have a deal, we'll leave you and the Changelings alone. The Changelings still don't agree on stopping the attacks, but they'll decrease drastically." With that, she flew away.
"Okay then. We have a deal. Now, let's focus on Earth and our plan to evacuate remaining survivors and fight back." Hesh said.
"What's there to talk about? Earth is taken over. As far as we know, we were the only survivors." The man from Earth said.
"So, we just need awnsers. Over the past 4 years, we found nothing but questions. We need to find vehicles to do recon. Maybe we can find a sample of this virus and find a cure for it. Or at least, a way to remove it from the air." I said.
"We need a recon team. Dewy, Rainbow Dash, and Price will be sent to Earth to find the main base and find the cause of this virus. That's it. And if you get caught, return to base immediately. We'll close the gateway, and that'll be that." Hesh said.
We saw as Twilight activated the gateway. It flickered purple, then, the flow of energy became infinite. We were ready to go back, and find out who or what, destroyed Earth, and find a cure.

Mission 1: What is Left, December 23rd, 2020, Dewy Decimal - Codename: Arrow.
The portal flashed purple as me, Hesh, Price, Merrick, and Rainbow walked through with our gas masks on to avoid infection. We emerged in what was left of CHS, my school since kindergarten is now in shambles. Chunks of the building collapsed, a green gas filling the inside, and most of all, the enterence... it was a pile of bodies just lying there in body bags. Like it was nothing...
"Good God..." I said under my breath.
"Come on, let's look for survivors." Hesh said.
"Look around Hesh. The bio weapon is all over the place, and unless we have a good construction crew in Equestria, we won't be fixing this place any time soon." Price said.
He was right. This was only the school, imagine an entire planet of chaos and tyranny. Will we survive? Who's in charge here? And most importantly, how did this happen?
"Come on, let's see the rest of the city" Hesh said.
We saw a few soldiers pass by us with a few decent guns. I think we can take them.
"Should we risk it?" I asked.
"Negative, let them pass." Merrick said.
Sure enough, they passed. One of them dropped a walkie - talkie near us.
"Don't. It could be bait." Rainbow said.
She was right. A squrriel nibbled at it to only be brought up by a rope and shot.
"Good call." I said.
We kept moving to see the city... With a few walls and guards with masks on them.
"Looks like a resistance..." Price said.
"Let's get closer." Hesh said.
We moved to see more guards and oxygen tanks.
"Breathable oxygen..." Dash said.
"Arrow, move in." Price said.
Knowing my Codename, I said
"Yes, sir."
I moved in to see more guards and more oxygen tanks.
"Let's see if they're friendly." I said.
"Copy, Arrow." Hesh said.
Hesh approached them and asked if they were infected.
"Negative. Come on in." A guard said as he opened the gates.
"So, some 3 years, huh?" I asked.
"Yeah. We failed to reach the extraction points so we raided nursing homes and hospitals to obtain breathable oxygen, but... we're running out. We've been looking for other survivors, but this city is a ghost town. Well, besides us of course."
"We can help. We can evacuate you people to Equestria. It's safer there." Price said.
"Price, you know we can't take more survivors with us. What'll Celestia think?" Dash asked.
"Well, we can't just leave them here. Prey waiting to die of exposure and hunger." I said.
Before we can talk more, then gates were shot open and 20 men came in firing bullets non-stop.
"Take cover!" Merrick said.
I grabbed the pistol with 5 clips off of a corpse and started firing. I managed to kill 5 of the men before running out of ammo.
"Crap, I'm out!" I called as I started to move back into the city.
A soldier came from behind and tried to take off my mask. But Dash managed to stab him and handed me his gun.
"Thanks, Dash." I said.
I kept firing towards the men in the enterences.
"Get to the portal!" Price called out as we started to move towards it.
As we moved, a few guards were being shot in the foot and seizing up.
"The bullets are coated with the Fumes. Once it's in you, you turn." A guard said.
Now that we knew the threats, we took cover and did everything to avoid a bullet in our leg.
"Keep firing!" Price said.
I kept on firing until I was out of ammo.
"I need more ammo!" I called out.
I decided to run at a nearby attacker and strangle him. Luckily for me, his gun was MY gun. I found 50 clips of ammo, all full. I kept on shooting until 9 men dropped dead.
"Push them back! We are walking out of here!" I said.
We were wasting bullets like it was nothing. In the end, a few guards were with us as we crossed the gateway.
We brought them back only to receive a warning from Celestia.
"They can't stay here. You're lucky you are still here."
"No... No, PLEASE. You don't know what it's like back there! We're running out of oxygen as it is and food is scarce. I know what you saw! I know you're misunderstanding us. We're not like Rome! We're not the violent people, we're not torturing monsters, THEY WERE! Good God, I'm begging you Princess Celestia! We wanna live! See for yourself, read my memories! Come on, I know you can do it!" They pleaded and pleaded for hours on end.
It was clear they weren't going back to Earth... Celestia put some thought and used magic to see their views of the past 3 years. I can't imagine what she saw, but whatever it was, it shocked her deeply.
"... It's settled then. You can bring people here as long as the murders stop from your end, and with hope, we will stop our end as well." Celestia said.
Our first mission was complete and good God, am I glad it's over. We were able to bring the portal with us due to circumstances and for rescues. Let's hope the murderer is caught and stopped before Celestia sends us back there... To that madhouse. I wonder if we'll ever go back...
